Take 5 Oil Change

I will NEVER use a Take 5 again! Waited longer than 5 mins but thinking about it five mins is probably the reason why they mess up on my oil changes every time. So since I’ve moved from McAllen, Tx I’ve gone to two Take 5 places and both have left my oil valve loose. Ruined my driveway with oil spills from trusting places like this. Not to mention I’ve called their corporate office and they do absolutely Nothing! Horrible experience!

Quick question? Mason H You got a pic of a tech in the office? Hmmm that’s funny Take 5 is a stay in your car service which I love. For customers safety as well. I love that shop the staff is wonderful with the exception of Kameron who is extremely rude and needs to get another job that doesn’t involve customer service and very unprofessional. But all the other staff and that new manager are all so wonderful.

The slowest take-five I have ever been to. Stop in for just an oil change and it takes them an hour and a half.....don't come to this location if you don't have time to waste. They suck.

These gentlemen did a really great job, I was 3 years overdue for a coolent flush and they thankfully caught that! Honda dealership gave me a hard time when I was trying to get my car serviced a week before the Christmas holiday, so I didn’t get anything done to my car, but Take 5 was opened the day after Christmas and these gentleman were very helpful which mattered because I was taking a road trip that weekend out of state. Thanks again guys!

I was quite impressed w/the service from Jonathan & Gabby!--(I had never been to a Take5 to get my oil changed & they were pretty thorough in checking my car out & then some). To top it off, this was on a Sunday & they were open, commendable!👏👏👏!!!!--(I usually take my car to get the oil-changed at some place on WestwoodLoop but they were closed!--Very disappointing!--Fear not!--Take5 to the rescue!!--As a last word, I was very impressed w/Jonathan's knowledge about cars!👍

I didn't even stay for the oil change. They had 3 bays open, but only two people working. One up top and one down below. Say there for 25 minutes and they hadn't even finished one car. Four more before my turn! I call BS on the 5 minute oil change!!!

Diana broke my drain plug. Had to go to the shop 2 days after getting my oil changed here because my engine light turned. Come to find out that my car had no oil because it all leaked out. I have paperwork from the mechanic stating this. I paid $300 just for them to crack my drain plug. Can’t even go back to this location because I was making my way to Dallas. Now I know not to go to this location next tine I visit San Antonio.

I opted for 84.99 oil change and I was getting my vehicle inspected. I had a 20 dollar coupon, so I thought at most my total would be about 80 bucks but it was actually around 99. I was told that "they charged me 13.99 for a synthetic oil filter" that I wasn't told about until I asked why the price was higher than expected. I know a synthetic oil filter isn't necessary and that they snuck it on to my bill hoping I wouldn't ask. Bad practice and I won't be going back. Buyer beware!

I should have read the other reviews of this location. Both staff members saw me drive into the lot and neither greeted me. So I sat there for 12 minutes and still, without any greeting, I left. I went to the Prue location and though there were 3 cars in the bays, I was greeted instantly and the service was exceptional. The DeZavala location has always had great customer service so it seems just this location has terrible customer service.

They messed up the vin on my inspection. I called, their customer service called, multiple times. No voicemail, their system said they would call me back. I ended up just getting a new inspection elsewhere and I never heard back. Extra sucks because the staff was nice but the service was negligible.

Inexperienced workers and will try and trick you into buying more expensive oil and products you don't need. Been to several Take 5 locations never had a problem till this location. They also just lie on the paper saying they top off the fluids and check the tire air pressure etc. Just go to a different location so it can be done right.

Very slow, rude and unprofessional. They look like they don't know what they are doing. I waited a very long time after I was already in the maintenance bay. Uncalled for.
