$174 for 8 quarts of mobile 1 If I wasn’t in a rush, I would’ve drove off but needed it before I went back to Houston. They left me a half a quart low. I’m not gonna argue about it. Let’s just say if I pay for 8 quarts then I paid for 8 quarts. My 5.3 holds 8 quarts at the full level. Guys words were it’s at a safe operable level. That baloney might fly with people that don’t know better, but I thought this will be the last time. By the way, you can buy 5 quarts of mobile 1 for $38 and then $12.31 a quart thereafter. That’s $74.93 before filter. Let’s say $20 filter and tax included. Puts me at Almost $100 for labor????. Crazy.

Took my F150 in for an oil change. Service was quick which was nice. I got the full synthetic Mobil one oil change which was the most expensive, highest level of oil change available. After running my card, the receipt was stapled in a couple spots over the invoice that covered the description of the services. After I pulled it off, I saw that I was charged an extra fee for the oil filter. When I asked the service tech what the fee was for, he said the mobile one oil change requires a different filter, so I told him that was odd not to include the filter in the cost of the oil change. When I drove off, I called a different Take 5 location and asked about the mobile one service and if it needed a different filter that wasn’t included. After verifying my vehicle, they said no, I wouldn’t need a different filter. So it seems I was lied to. Stapling the receipt the way they did made it less obvious that there was an extra charge on my bill so they were probably hoping I wouldn’t notice. On the bottom of the invoice, there is a checklist of all the things they did like check tires, fluids, clean windshield, etc…. None of which were done. I won’t be going back. If you go here, check your invoice.

The Team was professional, did not over sell any product, I was given the information of the filter and why it was needed, I declined and it was accepted, the gentleman went on to check my tires and remained professional. Thank you!!

Take 5 always does a great job on my cars. Keeps me informed about the wipers, filters and other maintenance issues. However, I never feel pressured.

Despite the long line, the team was organized and got everyone through in a timely manner. All staff were very kind, relaxed, and not frazzled by the amount of cars.

I went to go get my car inspected since the normal place I went to stopped doing car inspections. Although the line was long, I was greeted and updated on how long it might take and given some water while I waited in my car. When I got to the area to drive my car in, Joe was super helpful and sweet as he helped guide me to inspect my car. This was by far the best service I have ever received at a car shop. I will definitely be coming back for any of my car needs and asking for Joe.

We normally go to the Take 5 on FM 78 in converse however we were in the area and need to kill some time. Michael who initially greeted us, was very rude. Upon checking out James, refused our coupon on the basis that were are military. This is the first Take 5 that would not allow us to use our military discount and a coupon.

I’ve been to probably over 15 different Oil change locations. I don’t believe I’ll go to another after take 5. Not only did I get great service, but I didn’t get slammed with too many questions, it felt more informational if anything. I love being educated so thank you to the team at Take 5. For making it quick and easy.

Quick and easy. Honored coupon. Nice & clean cut guys. Assisted in resetting oil change setting in my car as well. Only suggestion would be to advise me before hand that my car would need 6 quarts, not usual 5.

not a good experience at all . the biggest issue came from me asking for the price of my oil change and the employee clearly negating my question until after they were under my hood and had removed my air filter(a service i did not ask for or come in for) I came in for a simple (full synthetic) oil change with coupon. i pulled into their bay and asked for the price before they popped my hood. In an attempt to be cordial i allowed them to ask me for further information(phone number and email) before my question about the total cost was answered . When I realized my air filter was being removed I had no other recourse but to sternly demand the price of the oil change . and the price of the filter change (i did not ask for or want). Finally, after my oil had already been drained was i given the price of my oil change . My frustration and dissatisfaction came from their failure to be transparent and clearly being avoidant of the cost until there was no other option but for me to pay . At things point the price was irrelevant . While I was in the bay I overheard the conversation between another employee and the customer in their vehicle next to mine . “i’m sorry i don’t know how to pop my hood” This gave me the inclination that this particular location relays on the ignorance of its customers to continue with their predatory practices . Oil changes should be straightforward and transparent. y’all should really be ashamed of yourselves . You’re in an excellent location and business would almost be expected due to the lack of competition around you . Do better . ps . my oil was changed and they did show me my levels . but this place was not worth the stress, frustration or price. that’s the only reason for the second star
