I always visit the Take 5 on Richmond near Sage and never disappointed. This time a sweet, bright and bouncy young lady named Lola welcomed me, got the guys started on my OC, and gave me some great advice. 👌

Pop is the kind of person who makes you feel like family. His friendly demeanor and genuine passion for his work shine through in every interaction. He took the time to explain the oil change process, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to ensuring that customers feel informed and valued! What truly stood out was Pop’s attention to detail. He not only provided an efficient and thorough oil change but also took the time to check my other fluid levels and tire pressure. His willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed! I could tell he genuinely cares about the well-being of my car. The atmosphere at Take 5 is already welcoming, but Pop brought an extra sparkle to my visit. Came in for an oil change 30 minutes before closing on a Friday night. Clarence and Deon were the techs that helped us and are the reason for me giving a 5 star review. They were so friendly with the best personalities and went above and beyond. Take 5 is blessed to have such wonderful employees as these two. Will be coming back because of them!

I already deleted a bad review of this location. It was regarding the slightly, different oil grade they put in my engine. Now, I'm making this review because I figured out how incompetent these guys are. They pull your cabin air filter out and show you how dirty it is and try to upsell the new one. I already know this, so I said no. Today, I noticed a noise from one of the air vent. I looked at the cabin filter and it is facing the wrong direction. Damn, there are two arrows and a big word tells you which direction the filter should face. They cannot even put a cabin filter correctly, how are they going to change oil properly? What is the point of selling a cabin filter if you cannot even install it properly? Offering a bottle of water is a gimmick to cover for the incompetence. Bottle of water cost only $1 and engine cost around 20k. Please don't go to this place. They spill oil in various places of the engine bay and there was oil in front of the car. Oil is not good for paint.

Quick, efficient and effective service. The young black woman who took care of my car was very nice, helpful, smart, and polite. the other two Take 5 shops in Montrose were not as good or polite as this one in the Galleria area. This will be my go-to shop for oil changes and vehicle inspections.

I had a fantastic experience at this Take 5 Oil Change! From the moment I pulled in, the team was friendly, professional, and efficient. The service was quick, but they didn’t cut corners—everything was explained clearly, and they made sure I was comfortable with the options before proceeding. I appreciated the convenience of staying in my car during the oil change, and it was great to see how organized and well-coordinated the staff were. They also performed a quick fluid check and topped off a couple of things at no extra charge. Overall, it was one of the easiest and most stress-free inspection / oil change experiences I’ve had. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance!

It was a great experience. Although it was Christmas Eve and close to closing time, the entire team was cheerful and helpful. I was second in line and still was done within 20 minutes!

It was my first time taking my husband's car for inspection while remaining in the vehicle, as they asked me to do. The girl conducting the inspection was not only super cute but also very knowledgeable, so she completed everything quickly. The funny part was when she asked me to open the car hood; I didn't know where the button was to open it, so I was a bit lost! 😄 She helped me out, and overall, it was a fun experience.

Omg yall! A quick background story on my car. I hit a curb and the metal cover that protects the bottom of my vehicle was scraping the ground. Practically damaged! I have been extremely busy with work & found this location near my office so I came after work. I’m glad they were still open! When I arrived Clarence & Cameron were very welcoming & attentive. They directed me and informed me about every single detail, communication is key to earn your customers trust ! He guided me with the oil that’s best for my mileage & told me when I should return. They removed the damaged cover & advised me where to get it. ( they could’ve just ignored it but went a step ahead) Then they also checked my tire pressure. I felt such a relief taking this off my to-do list. I really hope the owners / managers show some appreciation for these two! The other guy Cameron was with another client and was also very patient and informative with that customer!

STAY IN YOUR CAR FOR A QUICK OIL CHANGE🙌🏼. One of the few businesses who actually do as they advertise! No dropping off vehicles, or waiting hours for service. Stayed in my vehicle and was out in less than 15 mins. I almost didn’t go, as the phone number listed is incorrect. However, Pop and Lala were awesome! Very professional, straight forward, no haggling or trying to upsell. All prices are listed, and the service was A+. They even offer a $7.00 coupon for premium oil services for luxury vehicles. They do it all guys- Cadillac, Jacguars, Range Rovers, Porsche, etc. Best of all, they have an uptown location, only 4 mins away. I’m telling all my neighbors, friends, and family. This is my 2nd time doing my state inspection here. A few weeks back Lala did an oil change for me as well as point out other areas of concern. She was understanding when I mentioned it wasn't the right time and today she asked politely if I was opem to revisit the necessary service and I'm glad she did! The people at this location are amazing!!
