I was very impressed by the customer service at this location. The one that is by my house on Plano rd and forest lane in Dallas , denied me service they said they don't work on Subarus.

Trying to shoot out of town running late on the road trip had stopped in to the Walnut Hill in Plano Road location. The team yesterday on 23 Of January were amazing.. I was hoping I could wait to do the oil change when I got back. I was just having them check since I was late and instead of just me they made sure I knew that it was good to go for the trip at least come get it changed afterwards, but made sure that my air filter got changed cause it was really dirty. Just most people will screw you over in that situation. These guys were studs

Take 5 is going downhill. I have been using Take 5 for at least 10 years. I went to the Mockingbird location today for an oil change and emission inspection test. Their emissions machine was down, and the employee suggested I try one of their other locations. So, I went to the Plano Road location. Their emissions machine was down also. They assured me that the Forest Lane location's emissions machine was up and running and sent me there. The employee at the Forest Lane location informed me that they do not perform any inspections at that location. "We have no certified inspectors." he informed me. As I drove away, I noticed the huge banner on the front of the building advertising, "State inspections". I went to the Quick Car Lube & Tune on Garland Road. They changed my oil and tested my emissions without an issue. Quick Car lube and tune is a nice place, with very experienced technicians. They have a TV and free coffee in the waiting room.

This is the second time this has happened. When the tech checks my air filter, I tell them that I have filters at home and will replace. The put the filter back in but don’t put all the retaining clips back on. This Ram truck and the inside retain clips are hard to snap back in. Instead of tell me that they are having problems they just leave it as if nothing is wrong and leave it as is. The first time this happened the airfilter cover was completely loose and made which could have damaged the engine if any was sucked into the intake. I like using take 5 but seems that service is going down hill. My point is tell me if there is an issue and we can fix it together.

Went to the Plano Rd @ Walnut Hill location today for an oil change service. I encountered three employees during my visit, two young men (Luis and Aiden) and one young lady (I'm sorry Love, I didn't catch your name!), whom were all extremely professional and courteous. There were three cars ahead of me, and the tech immediately set the expectation as I pulled up that it may be 15 or 20 minutes before I was in the bay, and even told me which car to watch for to know when I was on deck. The wait honestly felt like nothing at all. Another point of note: When it came time to choose my level of service, Luis brought over the "menu" and accepted my choice without any pushy up selling tactics. He did come back to my window once during the service to mention that my air filter was anxiously awaiting its replacement too, and to offer me that service as an add-on. To his credit, he brought the air filter to me so I could see it, which I thought was a lovely piece of transparency in a stereotypically exploitative market. I declined, but kudos to him for a smooth and professional sales effort. After securing my receipt and suggestions for a return visit, I was on my way home after just 37 mins. P.S. While you won't find Take 5 in your top deals on Groupon, a quick trip to their website will easily net you a coupon to help offset your costs. From what I understand they vary by location, so I can't guarantee *your* deal, but I *can* share that I opted for the economy service today, used my coupon (acquired during my wait in fact!), and my wallet felt right about thirty-eight-bucks-and-change lighter as I left. *Edit* As I was getting ready to post this, I paused to go get my receipt so I could add in the names of the employees to help potentially give them credit where it counts. As I glanced over it, I noticed what has now become the only thorn in this experience. Well, less of a thorn, more of an annoying kitten scratch that won't stop stinging and itching. You know the one. On the receipt there is a box labeled "Service Check List." I've attached a picture of mine for reference. I'm ... disappointed?... that I don't agree with the reported info here. Firstly, we've already discussed my air filter so I'm curious as to why it shows "clean" there. I don't believe my tires were checked, though admittedly I didn't micromanage the service, so it's possible, but I can say with 100% certainty that my windshield was not "cleaned," and I am also 100% certain that my wiper blades are not "Ok." It rained just yesterday, and during my drive home, my driver's side blade jettisoned half of its body onto I-30. So now I have to question the validity of the entire check list. That's a shame, and it's a costly one, as I'm going to have to drop a star. I'm not sure if I should chalk it up to youth and inexperience, or to something more devious like metrics padding. Bummer.

Everyone is super sweet...greeting every customer with a smile and asking if we need a bottle of water... extremely thorough inspection! I have never had the gas cap taken off and checked!! Yall too damn high I rather change my own damn oil 100 dollars for a oil change is beyond me I’ll rather change it myself
