Gave them a second chance. Just don’t go here. First time I tried to go on a Saturday at noon and they were closed when they were supposed to open. Second time I came back and everything seemed fine after the change…until I noticed the oil on my driveway. I should have known something was up when these supposedly “experienced” professionals couldn’t find a matching oil filter, and didn’t even know where the filter was on my car. Anyways, They only hand tightened my oil filter. It leaked everywhere. A less savvy person wouldn’t have caught it and their engine could have been ruined. So, as a warning. DON’T GO HERE. Thankfully I caught it and tightened it when it was only a quart or so low. I’m about to just change it myself anyways because who knows what else they didn’t do correctly.

Anna had a lot of nerve making people freeze bc it’s over 30 for them to have the doors down at 40 degrees and nobody near the shop 😂

New customer. Five star service by far. Valvoline was a two hour wait so I gave take five a chance. I was in and out in 30 minutes with professional and courteous service. Thank you so much! Will be at returning customer. Just went back second time great job really quick.

Terrible customer service. Absolutely horrible. They don't even deserve the one star. Negative five stars would be appropriate. Valvoline instant oil change is definitely the way to go. I wouldn't take my worst enemies car to take 5 oil change.

They forgot to reattach the splash guard after changing my oil, so it began scraping the ground as I drove out of the bay. They told me to stop and pull backwards, but then they had another customer pulling into the bay. Instead of coordinating that customer to pull out and having me pull over the bay so they could fully reattach it, they haphazardly screwed one bolt in and sent me on my way. Before I knew it, I'm driving 70 mph on I-270 and it comes unattached and starts LOUDLY scraping on the pavement. I had to drive it home scraping the entire time. When I got to the shop the next day, they told me the guard is broken and needs completely replaced. A 5 minute oil change has turned into a huge headache. Just avoid.

After I left the oil pan cover was hanging down and dragging on the ground. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. They told me that bolts were missing

Didnt even get to get my oil changed even after having an appointment. After they realized they didn't have my filter, they asked if I could go buy it and they'd take 5 dollars off my total. The price i was quoted and the price in store were 2 different prices. And the number you call doesn't even go directly to their store, it goes to corporate. After I called corporate back to speak about my experience they were supposed to call back and NEVER DID! I will NEVER go back! It's a shame.

For some reason the computer there showed it had been almost 7000 miles since my last oil change but it had only been a little over 3000. It took a while to get in but they did a good job!

I originally went to the take 5 in GRANDVIEW but they didn’t have the correct oil filter so I went further west and they took great care of me. Would recommend

I tried to get an oil change at 2 different Take 5 locations because they offer a lower price. Neither place was able to help me. I pulled in to this location and waited so long, I had yo call just to get their attention. The lone employee came out and told me that he had received an email that said one person was not allowed to work on cars alone. So I left. I tried again 5 days later and they put a sign out that says the same thing. How do you have a business open without enough staff to run it? Why have one person there just to turn all the customers away?

I will never go back because I was there for 45 minutes for the fact that they did not have my filter in stock and I had to sit in a cold car and wait for it to be delivered. Also, I would never recommend you guys to anyone.

The Manager had talked about how bad the Hilliard Rome Rd Take 5 was and how rundown their equipment was, heaters didn’t work so they were freezing all day long. Air hoses barely worked, credit card reader barely worked, only one stall out of the 2 were operational. (In their words) And the one tech that was a new assistant manager I guess would not stop trying to upsell me over and over and over again. I wanted a standard simple oil change that would normally cost me about $60 or so but somehow ended up having a bill of $160. I needed new wipers and told them I’d get them elsewhere as they were $31 an each wiper!! They ultimately brought my bill down to $106 after some back and forth of me telling them I’d I didn’t want this and I didn’t want that. They were covering the Hilliard Rome rd store near I-70. They are originally from another store but didn’t say which. They talked about the previous manager getting fired just the day before and used profanity religiously. I am not against casual cursing and whatnot, but that is not how you should be representing your company. All in all I went in feeling like I was going to get a simple oil change and be budget friendly but drove out of there shaking my head after being pressured into a $100+ oil change. I guess my daughters will be a couple presents short this Christmas! 🤷

This location was in bad shape. No heat for the staff, several staff members had called off for the day, and they could not accept credit cards. On the plus side, the interim staff (not from that location) were doing the best they could to serve customers.
