Waited for over 15 mins just to have someone say...what are you here for...then walked away. Not professional at all. Then sat in the bay for another 10mins with nothing. At least say hello and give an estimate on time. Just horrible customer service. Didn't even close my hood after I said I was going elsewhere. Not a time issue but a respect issue. Will not recommend this place to anyone to be treated like they're invisible.

David was very polite and helpful. Every time I have been there they always offer me and if anyone else is in my car a water. Wonderful staff. I usually dread running the errand to do something for my car but I look forward to my next oil change.

Literally left 30 minutes ago from this location. They did not close my coolant pump and my car broke down. I’m trying to leave Austin to care for my mother who is in the hospital 3 hours away from here. Calling the number does not help. I am now stuck trying to deal with the situation. Do not recommend this place at all. Upon further investigation I realized they took my coolant out to test it and didn’t put it back in. The guy working there wanted to charge me $140 for COOLANT!! When I said I didn’t want the service he cut me off in a rude manner. didn’t put my coolant back in the pump and didn’t close the cap. My car is now overheating with the engine light on! I’ve tried calling them and it is no help!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!

They let me provide my own oil and filter which a lot of shops won’t. It can be busy sometimes in the morning and mid day so I try to go around 4pm and it’s faster.

I went there the other day . was the best location I’ve been to.. all the guys there helped each other as a team so it made my time there brief .. usually won’t use take 5, but now I have a new spot to go to. Good job guys keep it up .. we all pay attention

The workers at Take 5 Oil did not reassemble my car properly following my last oil change and the panel underneath my care came off on the highway causing damage to the car. They did not fix or take liability for the damage caused to my car. Fleet Response is the 3rd party that they use when damage is caused to cars. Their reviews are filled with other individuals who had poor experience with Take 5 Oil. Update- I called the number that was provided in the reply and was told I would be transferred to the shop manager. I was transferred to a voicemail that was not set up and no one spoke to me. Called back and was transferred to customer service where I was left on hold for 30 minutes before hanging up.

I have been going to Take 5 since I got my car in 2020. I would always go to the one in San Marcos (went for 4 years) but recently moved to Austin in July 2024 and I went here to the one at William Cannon since it’s closest to me. The gentlemen who tended to me (Emanuel, David and Chris) were great! David helped check me in, and checked the air filters, wipers and made sure to scan my $25 off coupon, gave my the new sticker, and he even showed me a little trick on my car cubby which I was so happy about. Emanuel did my oil change, offered me water and made sure to help reset my oil meter on my Honda before I left. Chris provided great vibes and was a great sport all around. This is going to be my main place now that I live in Austin. The guys and service here were great! Thank you all for an amazing experience!

It was a quick oil change, which means it was not patiently flush free of old oil. That's OK. I always change oil every 2000 miles.

I’ve gotten my oil changed here plenty of times. Today The girl looked so upset at life when I pulled up to the shop as the only customer. She began to help then the manager came out to whisper to her. She then changed her mind and said it’s policy they don’t work on my car. Even though I’ve gotten an oil change plenty of times. Idk if they don’t feel like working or what but this is odd customer service. Edit: not even an hour after off the phone it was resolved and the people above Efron were very helpful. As were the usual shop dudes that were there when I went back to get it changed.

On Monday December 30,2024 I was very unsatisfied with the service and customer service at Take 5 on William Cannon. The manager on duty refused to honor any coupons customer service sent me. I was not asked for the coupon before service started. When I noticed I didn’t receive the texted coupon, I called customer service again and the coupons was sent. However I was told the ticket was closed, but I hadn’t paid for the service. I asked the manager on duty if he could void the transaction and create another one so I could use the coupon.I was told NO and he walked away as I was still talking to him. I felt very disrespected, I was pressured and paid full price under distress Not to mention I didn’t receive the full Take 5 experience ( greet me at my car, fluids topped off, tires checked, windshield cleaned. Service manager and tech was only concerned about the $107 service I was charged. I’ve used Take 5 for over 10 years and have never been treated so disrespected.

Went to get my oil changed around 10:45am. All the employees seemed very professional, especially my Svc Writer Ephraim! Everything went smoothly and very fast. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Young man that assisted me was very kind & made me aware of AC filter that needed to be replaced as well as coolant for next visit. Only thing I recommend is workers not smoking near by where customers can smell nicotine since I am asthmatic and it affected me also. I'm allergic to the smell causing me to have a headache when I left the premises. Also, the music playing in the shop was very vulgar and offensive to women. Not very professional for your business and made ambiance uncomfortable for me. Don't get me wrong, I like Rap music but Not everyone likes vulgar rap especially us older folks. Please take this as constructive criticism so that you all will be blessed in this business even more. 🙏🤗
