They always do an amazing job on my car, but this time they really went above and beyond! I needed to get my front bumper spoilers put on, and they had it ready super quick—like in under an hour. Had to get a small check. Very fast, very efficient. The only issue is they're waiting area is a bench outside, it was in the high 40s. Sitting outside wasn't the most comfortable.

Since I spoke to ask when I could take my car, the receptionist was very friendly. My car was ready the same day and I loved that they explained everything they were going to do to my car in detail. I'm happy because I finally found a reliable and effective workshop to take my car.

I dropped in to get a smog check and Cindy attended me. They were able to see me that same day, even though appointments are preferred since they are very busy as they are also a full service auto repair business. I had to go back for a retest, but they were still able to test promptly and they send all paperwork digitally to the DMV for your convenience. Staff is friendly and efficient, definitely recommend their shop!

Phong and Cindy were excellent. Clear communication from the beginning. Made an appointment last week, earliest appointment was a week out which I expected from a conversation we had months prior - let me explain… I called them while my car was in another shop and I felt like I was getting the run around. I called and spoke to Phong who spent time talking me through options for 20 minutes and I wasn’t even his customer! His patience and willingness to help stuck with me. I made a mental note of that and decided when I got my car back from the run around mechanics, and was ready to make my repairs, I was going to TP. Flash forward 10 months, here we are. That appointment was well worth the wait. Gave me time to set up a rental car, anticipating an unknown timeline my repairs could take. To my surprise they had everything finished within 24 hours. They gave me information every step of the way but more than that, they are kind. They are people that actually seem to care about what it is you’re looking to achieve without putting any pressure on you and that’s extremely rare these days, and something I personally cherish. Got home a little while ago and so far so good, car felt great. I am really looking forward to seeing how my car runs moving forward!

This place will charge you 80% more than most places for car repair..... TP Auto repair is very very expensive.... They are the highest prices.... "They price gouge" on their auto repair.... They are not fair with their prices.

Brand new to Cali, never even heard of a smog test before but it was so quick and easy. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, the process took maybe fifteen minutes and I was good to go.

One of the most trustworthy and honest mechanics you’ll find in San Diego!! I’ve been taking my car here for a few years now and the one thing I like most about this shop is that I never get any cost surprises. The owner checks in with a phone call before making any changes or adding work and gives me his honest opinion. If something can wait to be done, he gives me the option to do so. I’m always satisfied with his work, he treats my car well, and he is a friendly guy to talk to. Definitely a place I will keep bringing my business.

TP Auto repair is a great auto mechanic repair shop. I brought my car in and had an oil leak. It turns out I had multiple oil leaks. They were able to fix my issues. Customer service is top notch. I definitely recommend bringing your car for repairs.
