I've been going to Swedish Auto A and B since I was a fledging adult in about 2010 or so. Rafael has been taking care of me the whole time. I won't let anyone else touch my car. He's always honest and up front about repairs and gets the job done right. If you have a Saab, don't go anywhere else.

By far the best Saab shop! I've owned my Saab for over 5 years and tried several shops in and around San Diego. Rafael is the most knowledgeable Saab mechanic. Rafael goes above and beyond. I have finally found a shop for my Saab and would highly recommend it.

Had his shop use a Tech2 to format a key and change a few settings such as Day time running lights and auto lock and unlock at key out. It took him several hours to perform these task (anyone w/ a Tech2 can perform these task within minutes.) . Out of the three task he performed only one was done correctly. My headlight ignitors was damaged and the other two formats where only done half way. Door would lock at 13km but would not unlock at key out. Lights would work in position 1 & 2 but taillights were left on. On top of it all... He was rude.. Now that I have a Tech2 I'm offering help to anybody who like it done right....

I have been to Swedish Auto A & B three times over the past three years. Once for an overhaul and then twice just for general maintenance. I own a SAAB and I never really found a mechanic that knew what they were actually doing with them until I found them. Both father and son are a wonderful team. I highly recommend them.✨✨✨✨✨

Swedish Auto AB (aka SAAB) is THE shop to take your Saab. Rafael takes his Saabs seriously. He knows what he is doing and will take great care of your Saab as if it was his own. Reasonably priced and does quality work - including working with suppliers to locate genuine Saab parts. I needed a duplicate key and Rafael worked with the supplier until they got it right. Ultimate customer service !

We have used this shop off and on for about 35 years. We are on SAAB number 6 and previously owned a Volvo as well. The service level has improved as Raphael has become more customer-focused than in the past. Prices are reasonable and he gives a realistic timeline for completion and sticks to it. In the past few months he was able to take care of urgent needs same day without an appointment. This is not a fancy place with coffee and a flat-screen equipped waiting room.

I have a Saab 9-3 2006. Great car but expensive to maintain, more difficult to find honest repair shop. I finally found it. Swedish AB is very knowledgeable and fair. It is definitely my repair shop. And the owner is a great guy, very honest and trustworthy.

Rafael, the owner and head mechanic at Swedish Auto, is gregarious and very knowledgeable. I live in San Diego and in las Vegas and his shop is the only shop I've been able to find in either city that is honest and performs high quality work at a reasonable price. He had gone the extra mile for me several times saving me hundreds of dollars! Thank you Rafael

If you have a Saab or a Volvo this is the place to go. Super knowledgeable. And as others have said in reviews elsewhere online, he ain't Mr. Sunshine, but that's not what I look for in a mechanic. He knows his stuff, and does a great job for a fair rate.
