My car stopped working during the coldest day of the year. I called Chris and he diagnosed my issue over the phone! Got my car working, and brought it in to him. He then just tightened the cables to the battery and didn't even charge me for it. Im coming back here for ALL of my car needs! Thanks Chris!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! They got me in quick and worked on my modified car with a JDM engine swap. I have had so much trouble finding someone to work on a lowered car and they had no issues with it at all. Very knowledgeable and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Chris Tortora has been extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing two issues with my Audi Q5. He is professional, transparent and meticulous in his work and record keeping. Extremely impressed with Swanson's. The shop was clean and very well organized. Chris was honest (only fixed what was necessary) friendly, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be bringing my car back in the future. December 2024 Update: Over the past few months, I’ve brought my 12-year-old VW to Swanson's for major repairs, including the timing chain and cooling system. Chris consistently goes above and beyond with his honesty, clear explanations, and professionalism to deliver a positive customer experience. I won't take my car anywhere else.

I had a great experience at Swanson's. I needed my headlight replaced and they got me in after I was off work and replaced the light in literally 10 minutes. Chris was very kind and honest, which is rare to find at a mechanic shop. If I have any other car troubles, I will no doubt be coming back here. Highly recommend!

I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Chris. It is so hard to find honest, reliable people in Florida when it comes to having anything fixed. He is the best I have found in 6 years. I will be taking all of my vehicles to him from now on. In fact, I already made plans to take my mustang in for some work. I can’t say enough good things, he was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. All in all, Honest, Reliable and Fair Pricing. You can’t beat it. I will be telling everyone I know. I’ve used Chris and the Swanson team multiple times now for multiple of my cars. He is always honest, trustworthy and does not over sell. I’ve used so many shops in the area over the years and Swanson’s is the only one we use for all our cars going forward.

I dropped my car off because it had its oil filter hit by a manhole, in almost less than a day he had it checked up on and ready to be back in my hands in much better condition. Chris is who helped me, he was amazing

The people here are super nice, repaired my car from figity and jolting driving to smooth and comfortable. They also found things wrong with my car I didn't even know about! Gave me tips on how to maintain my car in good condition without a price and overall made my car work 1000% better

Chris did some routine maintenance on our older BMW at a very reasonable cost. He then found some diagnostic trouble codes and spent considerable time at no cost to determine the problem, evaluate the options, , and recommend the best course of action to resolve the engine issue. He performed the work and everything is good now and it runs like a champ! Highly recommend Swanson's Automotive for your foreign car service needs!

Chris serviced our 2018 Toyota Camry. His expertise and customer service was absolutely amazing!! He took his time to explain all services and made sure that I was able to understand. In his explanation he provides you with prices to all services and DOES NOT overcharge, providing further explanation if needed. He is an extremely professional mechanic. He has our service for years to come!! Do not walk but RUN to Swanson's Automotive Service for all of your cars needs!!!

We found Chris at Swanson Auto because of the great reviews which were spot on. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He took the time to discuss what may be wrong with my Ford Focus and a plan of action that would address its greatest needs first and would fit my budget. The work was done on time and we are very happy with the results. I would absolutely go back to Swanson Auto because of Chris’ honesty, quality, and expertise. If any friends or family needed a mechanic, I would send them here first!

I cannot say enough great things about Chris and Swanson Automotive, but I’m gonna try. I’ve been using his shop for several years to keep my 2007 Lexus Rx350 in top shape. He can do anything! Just recently, he installed a new stereo/speakers with perfection. I’ve had my AC motor replaced, tire alignment and rotation, alternator replaced, belts, ignition coils and gaskets, just to name a few of the things he fixed. He’s fair, he’s honest and he’s professional. I will not trust my car with anyone else. I fully recommend your car in his care.

Great shop! Was having a loud engine noise that couldn’t get diagnosed properly and Chris was able to find the issue right away. He repaired it quickly at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend Swanson’s. They are extremely honest and do quality work which is all you could ask for. Do yourself a favor and avoid the dealership repair and take it by Swansons.

Tucked away off University Avenue across the street from the 7-11 by the airport is a jem of an automobile repair service. Chris the head mechanic is very knowledgeable about cars and quickly diagnosed the problem with my 99 Camery and fixed it. Swanson’s has been there for 20 years and I wish I had found them sooner. We all want the best service for our cars and rely on professionals to keep our cars safe for us to drive. I have a good feeling that Swanson’s will continue to provide this service at a reasonable cost. I’m looking forward to being a loyal customer and highly recommend that you do to.
