Fantastic experience overall, Jorge was extremely knowledgeable and very professional throughout my whole experience. He managed to help determine many problems that my truck had and fixed them very quickly for what the work was. Overall I think that me taking my vehicle to Jorge saved me money in the future by not having to deal with less knowledgeable mechanics.

I was in need of a battery installation and I called and Jorge was available on a Saturday morning and his hourly rate was fair and competitive. How quickly he jump to my issue and got it fixed was amazing. I would recommend their shop.

I went for multiple estimates including one right down the road on US 301, called Jorge’s shop and got a response on the first ring which I thought was amazing customer service. They are open on Saturdays which is awesome. I needed what I thought was just a new A/c compressor after being told that with multiple estimates, came in and ended up finding out I didn’t even need a new compressor but a totally different issue, which Jorge and his team worked through the weekend to take care of. Amazing, work, quality and efficiency on top of being honest and having great customer service. Competitive pricing and he stands behind his work. I will absolutely be back and recommend friends and family, not to mention my car is blowing colder than it ever has. Thank you suncoast auto repair.

Very friendly family run shop. The owner was extremely honest and even provided pictures in the old parts and I didn’t even ask for it. The owner fix the AC issue and my daughters car the same day for a fair price.

Drove through water and other shops wouldn’t even look at it. From what I’ve read when water gets in the engine can get very expensive but as others have said David is very kind and fair with the prices. Paid a fraction of what I thought it would cost

I found this shop on google when my grandfather had issues with his power steering and boy were we lucky! David is fantastic. He looked into the issue my grandfathers explorer had and got back to us very fast. He explained everything in detail of what was wrong and managed to fix the problem with the steering wheel quick and for a very fair and reasonable price. Very honest with his work and very welcoming. The best car mechanic shop in all of Sarasota. We will be back with any needs for our cars!

If you don't read my lengthy review praising Suncoast Auto Repair, at least read this: David is amazing at diagnosing cars!! My car had had some strange issues when starting, and it left me stranded in a parking lot...on a Sunday, of course. Suncoast Auto Repair of Sarasota was the only place open. I had never heard of it before, but boy am I glad we did find David!! He was able to diagnose what was wrong with my car in less than 30 minutes, and it was ready for me the next day only because we had to wait on a part. And I reiterate that this was on a SUNDAY!!! David made me feel welcome and that everything was going to be alright. Emily was amazing on the phone as well as kind and courteous. Both were extremely empathetic to my situation. I highly recommend David, Emily, and Suncoast Auto Repair of Sarasota and will be using them in the future should anything else arise. Thank you again for all your help Suncoast Auto Repair of Sarasota!!!

Unfortunately our good experience here was cut short. Our car is old and in need of a lot of care, but we didn't feel we could fully put our trust here The owner was very friendly though, and so was his daughter. We are grateful they helped us out with some things.

I can't thank David and the team at suncoast enough! After a collision, I brought my car in for a bumper/fender repair. It is such a blessing they’re open on Sundays. David not only fixed it up for me temporarily so I could get around for the week but also cleaned it up, all at no cost. As a female, I felt very comfortable and at home. The kindness and professionalism shown were truly exceptional. Highly recommend this place! ---

5 STAR SHOP! I recently had the pleasure of visiting suncoast auto repair sarasota shop, and I couldn't be more happy!!!! From the moment I had walked in, I was treated like FAMILY!!! by david (jorge), his daughter and his crew! David had went above and beyond to make sure my car was perfect and he made me feel at home. My car needed some urgent repairs, and not only did they fix it quickly, but they also did an incredible job. david stayed after hours and woke up early the next morning to look for a part my car needed. i needed my car for work and he fixed it in less then 2 day! he called me up at 11AM! SO FAST I promise u this kind of dedication is rare and so truly appreciated. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME GOING TO A MECHANIC AS A FEMALE!! i was scared of going to one but i lucked out so much with JORGE!! pls go to his shop u will not regret it at all if you're looking for a mechanic who genuinely cares about their customers and provides top notch service! these reviews aren't lying at all. They have earned my trust and loyalty, and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of car repairs. I don’t think I could’ve had a nicer experience. So kind and honest. Jorge is the guy to go to!! He was giving me very bad news about my car. But helped me figure out how to go forward. He took his time to explain my exact situation. Especially being a woman, it was great to feel so respected. I would definitely go to him from now on for any vehicle repairs I may need.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I most definitely would!! We were in a tough spot on the way home on a Saturday and the owner himself took an hour of his time just before closing to fix my truck. And I couldn’t be more appreciative. If I’m within 50 miles of this ship I’m going there no matter what!!! I love those family run place there always better and treat you like their own family!

Really helpful and quick with helping me out with changing my car battery. Went to a big auto store to buy/ replace it and they couldn’t even loosen the bolt, Jorge got it down in a reasonable amount of time!! Very kind people and incredibly fast :)

David the owner and his team did such a great job. Car had some issues and what I thought would be a larger project, he discovered it was a smaller issue he tested first and that fixed the problem. Great to have a go to mechanic that will fix the problem, without the stress and headaches that come from the dealerships. Highly recommend!!

I stumbled upon this place by accident and boy am I glad I did! I had had my car to Volvo after hitting a curb, and Volvo told me it would take two weeks to do my car, they ended up taking three months, because three times they gave it back to me and they were more and more problems, They went from a $7000 bid to my insurance company to a whopping $17,500, my insurance company paid out for hitting a curb. My air conditioning was working just fine when they got the car and it was working when I got it back the first time, the second time I took it back and then picked it up. My air-conditioning was not working, so it was something, Volvo, did, and they would not replace it . They actually tried to get my insurance company to cover it knowing they did it, and I think at this point my insurance company was just done paying out tons of money. A stumbled upon Suncoast and called and Jorge told me to bring it in and he would diagnose it, I brought it in around 10:30 in the morning and he even dropped my daughter and I off down the road to eat breakfast, he called me when he was done around, 1145 and told me he would come get me, he came to get me I got in the car and I was so happy I had air-conditioning, Volvo had lied to me and told me I had a big hole in my hose and he said it was just a small leak. He repaired it and replaced some rings and my car was done that fast, it was at a very very reasonable price not even a quarter of what Volvo tried to charge me! If you need anything done with your vehicle, this is the place to go, he is very honest, he could’ve charged me and told me yes they were right there was a big hole in the house and it needed replaced but he didn’t do that. ! Thank you Jorge!!!

Suncoast auto repair of sarasota should be everyone's car repair shop! 5 stars all the way! Our shifter broke on our car and I had no idea where to bring it to. Upon looking a many car shops I stumbled across some of the best reviews. So I decided to take the chance late a night and got it towed there. Thank God we did! I was outside the shop today waiting for him to open. I told David what the problem was and he confirmed it. he was super busy and took my car in. it's Saturday how many places are open on the weekend? You have a customer and lots of recommendations from us for life! You want honesty a great place and great people and family owned give them a call! Thank you so much!
