It is the worst place to go, they don’t care about fixing your car they just want the money. They gave us a quote for $6,000 that wouldn’t even fix our car and we looked for a second opinion and it was only $200.

Today I had a loud "knocking/clicking" sound behind the steering wheel when I started driving in the morning, & A/c stopped working also. I was on my way to an Auto parts store to check my battery, but did not even make it there. I had to get my truck towed there because it stopped running while on the road. Sun Auto did a full diagnostic inspection. The battery did need replacing, which AutoZone brought over since it was still under warranty. However, from the inspection, there were about 6-7 things in the "Red" category for maintenance, totaling $6,400 (suspension, control arm, engine oil pan, differential pinon...). When I asked which of these are necessary to keep me on the road, he did not say any of them. As I began to leave, the "Knocking" was still there (as the car was running, same as before). Since I was afraid of the car dying on the road again, I got another tow truck. As I was leaving, a mechanic asked me why I was getting it towed, and I said the noise was still there. He told me the issue was fine to drive with and the issue was the "Blend Door Actuator". Here is my issue. On the full (very thorough) diagnostic report, that was not on there. I showed the mechanic the report, he could not point it out to me. During the conversations I had in the office, that was never mentioned. On the printed out Quote of recommended service, that was not on there. So, I have a quote of $6400 for work, and according to the mechanic, none of that would even solve the original issue I came in for. Based on that, how I am supposed to trust coming back here? I got it towed to Casias shop on Grissom. I did not tell them about the previous discussions, but after 30 minutes, they told me it was the "Blend Door Actuator" and gave me a quote for $200 to fix.

I brought my truck in for an oil change. Even though they were clearly busy, they completed the job in about an hour. My only concern is that when I dropped the truck off, I asked them to check the tire pressure on one of my tires, which had indicated as low. Looks like they didn't do it.

One of my services vehicles broke down out of nowhere. I called multiple mechanics and just kept getting wierd responses. Once I called sun auto service they said bring it rt in . They were able to diagnose my truck the same day ! And it wasn’t an easy fix but they were able to fix my truck the very next day and get my service vehicle back on the road . The service was excellent, from start to Finish Steven Made sure to call me and take care of me . If u need to get your vehicle up and running and want quality service from a shop that knows what they are doing I highly recommend sun auto service! I will be a customer of there’s from now on .

Had to change this review only because after an oil change I found big drops of oil on my radiator grill, wanted front pads checked...period. My rear brakes were no squeaking , now they are because the opened them up to give me a 1600 hundred dollar quote. Now as for the oil guess the birds craped oil on the grill because one one there did it, of which I had no trust on the person doing the oil change. Steve does not admit any wrong doing or is it because I'm a woman of age ? I'm not an idiot when it comes to cars since this is not my first one or my last. Guess they don't want my business and I shouldn't go through this treatment. NEVER AGAIN BE CAREFUL LADIES Just to inform you I had my rear brakes fixed for 153.00 I did not need all you informed me was wrong. Just goes to show not everyone gets good service.

I went to Sun Auto Service for a state inspection. To my disappointment, the inspection failed due to a faulty wiper blade claim, while the wipers were in good condition. Then, the service center quoted an exorbitant price for its replacement, much higher than the market rate. I came back several times on different days after declining their exorbitant price quote and informing them I would install the wipers myself, only to be told they did not have the personnel available. They were just stalling to avoid performing the inspection. I would strongly avoid Sun Auto Service. It is a dishonest service with very bad customer service.

Visiting in town for the night, got a flat here and had to get a tow truck to the shop overnight. Opened the next day at 8am and these guys had me out on the road by 10AM with two fixed tires. Great guys with excellent service.

I had a flat and had my car towed to Sun Auto. They had one tire in inventory and informed me they were closing early due to inclement weather. Two individuals agreed to stay after closing and wait for my car to arrive. They changed my tire and sent me on my way. Sun Auto personnel went above and beyond to help me. This type of service is very much appreciated and rare to find.

I went in to have my headlight replace and had it replaced quickly and efficiently. Steve and his staff are consummate professionals who are experts in their craft. They are the definition of customer first which leads to loyal customers that will always go back. Keep up the good work and I will be back when I'm back in town for any auto services. Thank you Steve! Update: 2/14/24: Eli is the new manager and was a life saver. I was driving from Chicago and had to replace the timing belt in the engine. The team were quick to see all the other issues with my car and they used high quality parts to replace my old ones. Definitely worth every penny and have a lifelong customer with me. Update: 11/19/24: Richard and Steve are awesome and made sure that I was taken care of. Customer service is top notch here and will continue to do business with this location.

I took our 2021 Honda HR-V in to have a tire plugged/patched. I gave my key to Steve (Asst. Manager) to have my service completed and I went out to the customer rest/waiting area and started calling for new car insurance quotes and before I knew it, I back over to the register (where Steve was) and I noticed that my car was parked in a difference space. I looked at Steve and said, “You finished…he was like, “yeap!” and I was like,”man that was quit!” Dope service Fast but awesome work Polite too!

Last year I took my car here under MaxCare warranty. It took them several attempts to fix an issue with the heat/cooling system and I ended up not taking it back a fourth time since it was just wasting my time. Then I later took it to a new shop and the thing they say they "fixed" wasn't fixed. MaxCare wouldn't pay the new body shop since they already paid Sun Auto for this "repair" so I'm out a total of $581. Scam artists. Avoid this place, save your money and time and go somewhere else that will actually fix the issue instead of trying to bleed warranty company and not do the work.
