I do not recommend this place at all. It’s my first time here n I got completely scammed. I got an oil change sat there for an hour and after days I didn’t notice any difference with my car. so I asked another mechanic to check if my oil was really changed, but he said my oil wasn’t changed. I asked another mechanic to check if my oil was changed and they both said the same thing that my oil was intact not changed I went back to this location and I told them my oil was not changed. They checked it and told me it was changed. There’s nothing they can do. Long story short I went there with my car completely fine and I left with several other problems like a sound coming from the right side of my car and my car is constantly smelling like gas, which was never the case a day before I went to them. So I simply do not recommend this place. It’s terrible.

Excellent and friendly service. Not pushy, but informative with needed maintenance. Efficient service. 2nd visit here ....Travis, the manager, is courteous, patient, and empathetic with his customers and takes the time to explain all options. Obviously values customer service and cares about the community trusting Sun Auto to provide their auto care needs.

Travis and all of his mechanics are fantastic. I only take my car to him because I know I’m not going to pay for stuff I don’t need. I trust these guys and recommend them to anyone that needs a mechanic!

They have the best customer service and technician that know their stuff. The manager, Travis has always been good to me and my cars been going to here for years and trust them. Travis is always thorough explaining what’s needs to be done and try to be fair with pricing as much as he can.

Came here for a quick oil change while visiting my family. My dealership offers me free oil changes, unfortunately they weren’t able to service my vehicle before the winter storm, but luckily Sun Auto was able to squeeze me in! Service was very quick and thorough. Each employee I interacted with was very kind and had a great attitude. The gentleman at the counter gave me a free tire pressure reader because one of my tires was WAY over the PSI (my fault lol). They also sent me a detailed vehicle condition report (with pictures) which I really appreciated. Highly recommend their service.

Sun Auto did an oil change on my automobile just before this cold weather kicked in, and topped off my anti-freeze. I was very pleased with their service and price. Their employees were pleasant and the location was clean. Thank you Sun Auto at 11930 Louetta Road, Houston, TX 77070! Job well done!

I had a great experience with Sun Auto, as we were considering purchasing a used truck for our son and we wanted to have it looked at thoroughly. They were able to fit us in right away and provided a very thorough inspection and report. If I am on that side of town in the future and need automotive service, I will certainly be back to Sun.

I have had my new Ford Ranger and Colorado serviced there. They did some brake repairs recently on the Ranger. I had to go back multiple times to get the brakes done right. One visit they sold me a set of tires claiming that the brake problem was really a tire problem. They eventually got the problem corrected but I had to go several times and buy new tires. The tires could have waited! The Colorado needed a tire repair and diagnostics on the engine. The computer was showing errors, but nothing could be done about it except for a $250 chemical treatment on the fuel system. That was ridiculous. The problem continued to occur with both the tire and the engine. Come to find out, another mechanic looked it over and found a crushed vacuum line that was causing one of the cylinders to misfire! If you like to hang out at a shop, you might like this one. I'd steer clear of this place though. Too expensive and time consuming.

I love these guys. They always go out of their way to take care of us. It is usually unplanned and they still get us in and properly service us as needed for all of our vehicles.

I’ve been going to this location for several years now and it has always been pleasant, the staff are polite and friendly and informative if anything is wrong and try to find you a solution. The wait time isn’t horrible but it not like those other places in and out in 5 mins but the waiting room is comfortable with a restroom and tv so I’ll stay. Happy customer!! Louetta location
