I recently went to Summers on recommendation of a family member who has lived in Charlottesville for a long time and told me that they did a great job with their Honda. It was the right choice. After news of an expensive potential engine replacement, Steve was super honest with me and really put my interests first, when it doesn't always feel that way at auto repair shops. Great place

Pretty shady when your employees do side work and right receipt from summers . Then make you pay for nuts that they left OFF the car during the repair. I certainly hope the same mechanic doesn’t do this on the clock !!! Everyone makes mistakes !!! But you own it and make it right . Not deny it and pass it off to someone else !!!

Summers Service Center is great. They are up front, honest, & dependable. If I need factory parts for quality & durability, they tell me & put them on my car. If I can get away with aftermarket, they also let me know. Their prices are generally unbeatable, but I get so much more for my money. They take the time to listen about my problem, check the car out, & then make honest recommendations about what's actually wrong & right about my car. They've even recommended waiting to perform service because it wasn't needed. At the dealership, I've never had that experience. I'll keep going here & have ditched the dealerships. I suggest you do the same.

Hands down the Best Auto maintenance people I have ever dealt with!! Steve Jr. and Steve Sr are easy to talk with and NEVER have they tried to Upsell me on work my car did not need!! Labor rates are better too. Been going to Summers Auto over 10 years and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Rick Bukrim

I have been patronizing the store for at least 10 years now. But I found out that they specialized in the car make that I owned, I haven’t really been to any other place since. Steve has been awesome! Always absolutely fair and always reasonable! And explains things if we don’t understand them.

Honest service repair shop,these are good people and competent in every aspect of service that they provide as well as customer service. It's hard to find a good car repair shop that's honest here in Charlottesville Virginia. Took my vehicle in here for a service and had them to look it over to see if it needed anything else and I was given the opinion of a trusted repair technician that I found to be highly honest and accurate, thanks again and will be back to have said recommend work done at this place.

I have been going there for my vehicles and nothing but the BEST customer service. Steve and his team are honest and even though I relocated 50 + miles away, I would definitely take that trip to have my car serviced at Summers.

Easy 5 stars. This is where you bring your Honda in Charlottesville. Summers is the Bodos of car repair. They don't overwork or overcharge, work gets done. "nuff said, right? If you know them they'll work on a Toyota too.... that's what I hear anyway; I like Hondas.

I have been a customer at Summers for years. The reason I am a loyal customer is their amazing service. They do a great job on cars and they are honest in their work. Steve has to be the nicest employee at any place in Cville— he always remembers details about people— their cars, kids, jobs, etc. He truly cares about the people he interacts with at his job!!

Our daughter towed her car to Summers for a transmission diagnosis after being told by another local shop that she needed a full transmission replacement ($5000 quote). They told her she only needed the shifter cable bushings replaced (just over $200). The guys were prompt, courteous, and professional in every aspect of their work; Steve was very helpful in explaining everything. The car’s been running great since. We’ll definitely be going back to Summers for any future service. 👍

Steve and crew are fantastic! Always fixing the issues and no pressuring for unnecessary extras. He does however, make reasonable reccomendations and advice and let's you decide. I shop I can genuinely trust.
