My daughter called that her temperature warning light came on and would park the car. I added coolant and called for Stress Free Auto Care for estimate to perform a diagnostic test of the coolant system. The advisor set up a same day appointment. We dropped the car off on a Friday afternoon and it's advisor, Rebecca, explained the process. We soon received our estimate for repair and by Monday the repairs were completed at the quoted price. They were honest, reasonably priced, professional and efficient. They got.my daughter back on the road in record time.

First of all I DO NOT write reviews on ANYTHING…,however I am going to make a big exception when I had my experience with Stress Free Auto on Geary… My brake lights went out and this happened on a Sunday… no one was opened… accidentally stumbled on Stress Free and really didn’t expect much…wrong! Great and friendly service.. incredible step by step detailed description of what was wrong and even had a live video of the technician working on your car!!! Of course this was after a FREE diagnostic evaluation of the tires, battery, among others… I was ok on everything but was it was a reassuring gesture on there part…. Everything was done under one hour! The bill for this I found to be more than fair… I was expecting it to be much more.. I definitely would recommend their outstanding service… I assure you i am going to them if I have any automotive problems.. outstanding!

The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable in fixing my car. They were honest in what was covered due to previous work they had done which I was not charged for. The texting feature on the status of my car and payment is also a nice feature.

I took my car in for an oil change On a Sunday morning. In the complementary inspection, they found my brake pads were extremely worn and were able to Get the parts and replace them same day at reasonable cost with excellent friendly service!

My 2015 Fiat 500e brake warning light went on a few days ago and the brake master cylinder was very low. Added a can of brake fluid and it leaked out. Figured I had a fluid leak somewhere. The day after Christmas I happened to walking the dog by Stress-free and saw that they weren’t very busy so I dropped in and was told I could bring the car in immediately. I dropped the car off and was updated with progress reports via text. The technician was able to get to the car and find the leak within a couple of hours. The part arrived the next morning and the car was ready by noon. A truly stress free experience. Thanks!

I first heard about Strees-Free Auto Care Auto from my older brother. Recently my cars alternator started going out and needed to be replaced. I went to Strees-Free Auto Care to have the repair done. They were very professional, and constantly gave me updates. Their work and customer service was excellent. Incredibly nice staff and owner - replaced my windshield wiper fluid incredibly fast. Very professional as well. Absolutely can't emphasize enough how friendly they were and it's really great to have an honest local place in such a convenient location! Really amazing local shop and I highly recommend them for any auto repair needs! UPDATE: I took my car in for service as well, and they were infinitely more transparent and professional than any car dealership - phenomenal service and professionalism. Incredibly satisfied, they also beat the prices of any dealership in San Francisco for general service.

I’ve been going here for years under the previous business and was initially worried when Stress Free bought it. It was the only place I trusted and I loved Rebecca, who was running it. But, they kept her and along with it, the same trust, care, and ease I had known. Communication is great, the breakdown of urgent/ non-urgent needs is super helpful. They keep you in the loop the whole time. Rebecca is great, we love her!

Stress-Free Auto really lives up to its name! From the second I walk in (I've been there three times now), the staff was so friendly and welcoming—it made the whole experience so much easier. They did an awesome job keeping me updated on what was going on with my car. They explained everything clearly and even pointed out other maintenance my car needed, but they weren’t pushy about it, which I really appreciated. What stood out the most was just how nice everyone was. It didn’t feel like your typical car shop; it felt like they genuinely cared. The staff was super friendly and the work appears to be done well. The cost was below what I would have paid at my dealer. The only downside was that they didn’t have the parts and it took 3 days to complete what otherwise would have been a one day (overnight ) job. Luckily, I did not need my car right away. I will return in the future.
