These guys tried to charge me nearly 4x more for a job than another shop charged around the corner. They are not interested in helping people it’s more about making as much money as they can on each job. I wouldn’t get my car maintenanced here

Stress-Free Auto Care truly live up to their name. Andrew Waibel took care of every single one of my concerns with my 2016 Dodge Charger and then some. He really worked to keep the costs down and to ensure that he could fix all of them. I really love the texts and thorough inspections that include photos and notes, it helped me feel at ease and well informed. I will be coming here from now on for all my mechanical repairs. Oh! And if you get their FREE license covers placed on your car, you’ll get a discount on your next service. Highly recommended.

The people were really friendly and helpful. they did a fabulous job on my car. I have had the car back now for a few days and now and issues. problems I brought it in for were fixed and did a few extra at no labor cost which I appreciate very much All in all I am very happy and satisfied with the service. I will go back there again.

Don't book an appointment online, I booked an appointment through the website and got an email conformation. When I showed up they said they were too busy, and also said I hadn't provided my vehicle information when in the email they sent back to me it had all my information. They said by the time they could get the right parts the store would be closing, even though I had already provided all the information and never got any messages asking for anything else. They seemed confused that I had even showed up, and weren't helpful at all and a little condescending, wouldn't recommend.

I’ve bought 2 cars and a truck in the past year (teenage kids) and Stress Free was by far the most comprehensive and informative inspection of the three ON A SUNDAY MORNING! Alex was awesome at setting expectations for my daughter and me, kept us informed by text on the inspection process, and the report was very detailed with pictures. They found a couple thousand in repairs that forced the seller to agree to fix. A perfect place, especially for out of towners like us to bring a car for a pre purchase inspection. There is no better place in Sacramento.

When they say "Stress-Free", they mean it! My experience was just great. I brought in my Rav4 the day after it all of a sudden started to act up and since I rely heavily on my vehicle for the type of work I do, I did not want to take any chances. To say that I was stressed is underrated....I was in full panic mode. I did a brief research reading reviews and chose this place based on that and SO glad I did. Alex and the crew were amazing...understanding, knowledgeable, and accommodating. This business offers complimentary lift if you absolutely need it (which I did!) and financing that really saved me because otherwise I could not afford to pay for the repairs and therefore could not work. Alex pretty much held my hand through the whole process. Yes, the repairs were be expensive, but isn't everything nowadays? The level of service, honesty, friendliness, constant communication was great! You get a really detailed visual inspection, so you know what needs to be addressed based on the urgency. At this initial visit, they took care of what was absolutely necessary to make sure I can be safe and confident driving my car for the time being. I will DEFINITELY be back to take care of the rest of the things once I am ready. Overall a great experience and my car drives even better than before the problems that were addressed at this time. As a guy who has worked on cars professionally for 8 years and for fun the last 20 years I can say this shop holds itself to a higher stander. I was unable to get my oil changed here due to the drain plug being over torqued by folsom Glenn carwash and lube but they checked everything. Best thing is they take photos to prove it, as a shop guy myself I know if someone doesn't believe you you take a photo or video. Theses guys are on full display to prove they are truly the best. I hope any shop guys like me who are wondering who to trust try these guys out, it's worth it.

I can’t say enough good things about Stress-Free Auto Care! My car had been spilling gas, and I was really concerned about what could be causing it. Their team quickly performed a diagnostic test and found that the issue was due to my fuel pump not being tightened properly during a previous replacement at another auto shop. What truly impressed me was how they sent detailed pictures and updates throughout the process, explaining everything clearly so I understood what was going on. To my surprise, they tightened the fuel pump and fixed the issue — and they didn’t even charge me for it! Their honesty, professionalism, and excellent customer service have earned my trust. I have taken my 14 Is 350 here since I got the car a few month’s ago. They did a full inspection, oil change, transmission fluid flush and recommended a few other things that needed attention. Alex and one other younger gentleman has been amazing every visit. I am very skeptical when it comes to auto repair shops as my experiences has not always been great. SO FAR ..the transparency, knowledge and trust from the staff has been 5/5. Most recently I had my check engine light come on with a few mis fires. They needed to keep my car overnight so they gave me a courtesy car free of charge which was amazing. I have not come across a shop with such transparency and support for hard times when your car breaks down. My ONLY beef or critic is that this shop is not cheap or budget friendly BUT if you want the job done right with peace of mind go see Alex on Fulton/ Exposition in Sacramento he will take care of you!

Alex and his team are amazing. I have taken my car to them a few times. They inform and notify of everything every step of the way. My 98 Mercury was giving me issues and they helped tremendously with getting my car fixed. From my heater and AC to my spark plugs and manifold. Amazing crew. Stress free auto was the best auto shop I’ve ever been to. From the moment I called I was able to get approved approved for a loan to help pay for any problems I had. And when I dropped the car off Alex was really nice and helpful. I was able to get more than my breaks fixed because of the loan and plus I love how the diagnostic sends you information about everything that’s wrong with your car. I went in for breaks but after I received my report I got to find out everything that was wrong with my car so I was able to get a head start and fix slot more than the breaks. As a disabled veteran and woman people take huge advantage of me and I’ve been scammed at auto shops but this was the only shop where I felt safe and actually could trust that the shop had my back. Thank you to Alex and the mechanic who fixed my car and saved me a lot of money. I got parts that were way more affordable here than anywhere else. Fork the clean facility to the awesome customer service I really thank stress auto for being in Sacramento. Wish I knew about you guys a lot sooner!! I will definitely recommend this place to other friends, family, and coworkers.

Top notch. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Really streamlined and modern. Photos and videos of my car. They let me know things to monitor and most importantly what needed immediate attention. Guided me what I should fix first and what could wait until my next paycheck. This is honesty. And transparency. I'll certainly come back. Highly recommend.
