I had a great experience here! I brought my car in for an oil change and they got it done incredibly fast and did a free inspection on a bunch of items with pictures included. They were honest, upfront and quick, I will definitely be coming back!

DO NOT PAY THE PRICES THEY HAVE HERE. What they charge here is ridiculously expensive. They are good mechanics, But there are a lot of good mechanics in Denton. Call Jose Auto at auto pro transmission, he will give you the right prices. Do not pay $160 an hour for labor that's ridiculous.

Scheduled a vehicle about a week out only to get a call today 01/17/25 to be told they dont work on european cars.. Meaning Mercedes BMW or any german vehicle. Which i understand but dont advertise that you do if infact you dont. Everyone was nice about letting me know they dont work on euro cars but again dont advertise it if you dont work on them. BTW got called a day before my appointment so scrambling now to find a euro shop that can do a oil pan reseal....

I messaged back and forth with Stress free auto before taking my car to ensure they could fix my mini. My car was with them from Saturday to Tuesday because they had to wait on a part. They were very transparent about the entire pricing and process. We had a minor miscommunication but not worth noting because the team at Stress Free auto got ahead of the issue and resolved the conflict before it could unravel. I would absolutely recommend this location and their staff Mike and Andy specifically were great!

Like the text message updates, courtesy Lyft ride and vehicle inspection showing pictures of current state of vehicle parts. Would give 5 stars if more solutions were explored for my particular problem and not the most expensive time consuming one. To be expected at a mechanic shop, so not surprised.

Rod and his team at Pro Tech are great. My sisters and I have all been bringing our cars here for several years now, and he always takes good care of them and charges fair prices. If there is something his shop can’t repair, he will refer you to a place that can take care of you. But most routine maintenance and care he can take care of. Definitely one of the few places I fully trust leaving my car. Edit: Rod has now retired and though the shop has changed names, his son Andy is still running the shop and taking great care of my car!

Two problems with my car - loud noise in reverse and the windshield washer quit working. I figured it would take two or three days to repair. Took my car in at 10 am. They determined it was the rear brakes and a rat infestation. It was finished and ready at 3pm. I couldn't believe how fast they fixed it!

Well these guy are slick , they would charge you but not actually do the work . The most expensive alignment . Didn’t fix the issue went to another place in Denton and the problem was fixed

I was under a bit of a time crunch because of my poor planning skills and the techs here were able to get me in and fixed today! They didn't promise same day service and I would have understood if they couldn't get to my car today. Didn't have to worry though! Thanks to them I can have a stress free rest of my weekend. If i could leave a 0 i would. The communication was horrible they said they’d fix both terminals on my battery for $101 but they called after one was done and said it was gonna be $109 and asked if we wanted the second one done when we already said we were doing both for 101. They still made us pay for the one they did even though it was entirely their fault. 👎

My 2014 Toyota Sienna broke down this weekend in Denton, and I called Stress-Free Auto Care. These guys setup the tow and had my car towed to their Denton shop within 30 minutes. The techs diagnosed the problem quickly (faulty starter) and also found some other critical repairs that were highly recommended (i.e., oil leak and leaking axle). These guys were not pushy. They just told me what had to be repaired to get my van back on the road and what they recommended for repair. They didn't make any repairs without my express approval. I think the pricing is fair, and I know where I will be taking my cars from now on. Stress-Free got my van towed, repaired, and back on the road in about 1.5 days, which is fast, considering my car broke down late Saturday afternoon. Very responsive. Very thorough. Very trustworthy. I highly recommend giving these guys a chance to help you with your vehicles!

Quick and excellent service. I will be returning and recommending this place, I only came in for an oil change but they did their due diligence and also checked everything from tire pressure and fluid levels to struts and ball joints to give me peace of mind. Love this place 5/5!
