Best customer service! Don't go to the bigger names where they act like you're a burden. Firestone said 3 hours....for a patch! JB had me out in 30 minutes. Best part is; the folks here are good people. You won't be disappointed.

I went to Mountain View Tire to get my headlights fixed! The mechanics told me that they would not be able to fix it. They recommended me to another mechanic who told me it would be $800 to repair. I said screw that I’m going somewhere else! Took my truck to Stonecrest Auto repair and they fixed my entire light system for half the price. Thank you J.B and the entire team you guys are the best!!! I will definitely be back

Needed my check engine light diagnosed JB was great at explaining the different types of diagnostics/ like suspension / electrical / emissions/ brake or mechanical he gave me a huge discount and Charles and Kenny the main technicians were quick to figure out the issue. They took pictures and videos throughout the entire process and email me any price changes. 100% Will be back.

Walked up to the counter to a Hispanic male, asked him where the old man was (there's been an old man working there for YEARS) nodded as he didn't know. I asked him what the hourly rate was and he responds "Depends. Tire, brakes, etc." Told him well I got a P2270 code which sounds is the sensors below; he states "Oh ok. You just want me to fix what you think it is" I started saying "no, obviously if you see anything else fix it" Horrific customer service. After that response I told him, you know what- never mind. He too agreed in the background. Imagine sending your wife here and she's trying to navigate service?

45 dollars for patching 1 tire😦 Came back to edit this review. They didn't even patch the tire. They put a plug, which is a temporary thing. Right now i just came to another place to find out that stonecrest just ripped me off. Plugs just make the hole bigger, eventually it will leak.

Consider this as a testimony instead of just a review 🙏. We just wanted to take the time to say thank you to each and every one at Stonecrest Auto Repair & Tires especially JB, I still can't believe we got so lucky to find the honest professional mechanics, everyone please go and check them out , these people are extremely professional and knowledgeable. So our car broke down at Taco Bell parking on Friday night and we end up leaving it at the parking lot for two days since all auto services were close on weekends, today or Monday we approached these guys for help and they were ready to squeeze us on their busy schedule and explained about next steps , meanwhile we grabbed our brunch at a good Mexican place inside a gas station right next to this repair shop which was again a plus while you wait you can enjoy some nice winds , food and if coffee is your jam then Starbucks is right across the street . Not gonna lie but we were extremely anxious too thinking about service fee etc since we both dint have much idea about auto parts or related services so it was easier for any dishonest mechanic billing us for things which might not even have existed . In past we always used the same places for years so we knew people and could trust until we moved , here we asked some of our acquaintances for suggestion but instead of any solid recommendation , all we heard was is ton of scary stories like how people get ripped off , so we were just left with only few option like just tow the car to any repair shops near where we live and try our luck , but to my surprised these guys not only helped save us on possible tow fee but they even gave us most HONEST diagnostic information ever. They were very sincere and took their time in running diagnostics and gave us green light saying everything was fine with the car , it was just some minor thing which they fixed it right away and we both were so shocked we left with running car with zero service fee . I would definitely consider them for future services and would suggest them to anyone and everyone who are not only looking for a good mechanic but a honest one . Thank you so much again .

I decided to stop going to this auto shop after a number of red flags over the course of a couple years going here. And it ended with the final straw when I brought my car in for my tire going loosing air too quickly and tire noise/hum (possibly wheel bearing). They charged me $150 for an inspection which they’ve never done to me before and then there was a whopping list with $4500 worth of things (wheel bearings, struts, more suspension parts, coolant system, and a bunch of other minor things) needing to be fixed and it was basically it needs to get all done now and there was no flexibility on what I could get fixed now and hold off on until I have the funds. It felt incredibly fishy. So I took my car to another shop to have it reinspected and it ended up being that my tires needed to be replaced because metal was showing and a broken sway bar link. Not only that but previous times I had gone to Stonecrest they couldn’t figure things out like why my engine overheated and coolant was disappearing (turns out the fan fuse was blown which me and my husband had to figure out ourselves) I had a catalytic converter replaced and it went bad 3000 miles later. And they had to replace it again (they did so for free) but after all this adding up I’ve decided to no longer go back because I worry these mechanics don’t actually know what they’re doing and are just guessing at this point and trying to fix the most expensive problem first when it might not even be the actual problem. Jeff was the ONLY reason I continued to go to this shop because he seems very genuine and kind whereas everyone else had an attitude problem. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION

Solid people that work there. The guys seen us out side at the gas station fixing a flat and came to help. Checked all of our tires and we were on our way. Very good shop and friendly staff

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TIRE REPAIRS! I called ahead to have 2 tires mounted and balanced that I purchased on marketplace, they said no problem. After tires were installed on vehicle, I could blatantly hear that both tires not only had an air leak but also had bubbles. Only upon pointing out the obvious defects in the tires did they reinstall my previous tires along with charging me for 4 mount and balances. Avoid this shop like a plague. They were not apologetic whatsoever for not seeing the defects and also was going to allow me to drive away with obvious holes in my tires that you can hear air escaping. Good luck!

Do not come here. They tried to charge me $600 for a suspension repair. I fixed it for $100 at another place. Only needed to replace some screws.

Fast and Pretty good service, my new tire was installed within 1 hour . Unfortunately the new tire was punctured on the road by a small metal pin ，then the owner still help me inspect and repair it for free when I drive back , I think this is the way he keep the promise for his warranty and excellent service

I drive a high-mileage vehicle (~280k miles) and am doing what I can to keep it on the road as long as possible. The front suspension was completely worn out as it was still original parts. Last week, I started to feel some play in the wheel and knew it was time to get it checked out. Sam and the team diagnosed the issue(s) and relayed them in a clear and honest way. He even asked if I was sure I wanted to repair the vehicle, knowing how little it was worth (which I greatly appreciated). After assuring him I wanted to proceed with the repair, he kept in constant contact as the job progressed and went above and beyond to save money on parts and labor. The Trailblazer is now back on the road, driving as well as the day I got it. I highly recommend this shop for your auto repair needs.

I needed my brake pads, rotors done. I went in and got my vehicle back same day. Took only a couple of hours. It was also VERY reasonable in pricing compared to a lot of place in San Diego. Jeff and his crew were great. I would absolutely go back for future and other services.

I spoke to a very nice gentleman. I have a flat tire. One of the bolts happens to be stripped. I didn't know that until AAA came out. I have been calling several shops trying to find out if they'll take a strip bolt out. Most said no. The man on the phone said he doesn't know if if they can or not I would have to take the car in. Im already in need and I can't just simply take my car in or towed around from tire shop to tire shop just for a maybe. Tows cost money. I know that's not his problem. But it is mine. I asked if he had my tire size. He did not check his system he said "if it's not in the shop I have it in the warehouse". I asked then for the price of the tire. At This point you could already tell hes getting annoyed Or behaving as if he is just too busy to be asked all these questions. That he has "other customers". (Am I not a potential customer?) He REALLY DOES want me to tow my car with no guarantee of them being able to strip the bolt off and no tire price. While he had me on the phone he failed to realize that I WAS his customer. I know this must be the million time he answers questions. But what all representatives must realize that anyone calling to your shop. It's their 1st time asking you that question.

It is walking distance from my office, so that's convenient. Synthetic oil change + tire rotation was little over $100, which is cheaper than the dealership. Courteous rep. They can use an office, however. Front desk is in the shop, next to noisy tools.
