They had my car for 2 days and they did not even call me to tell me what the problem was with my car. I called on the second day at 8:30, 10:30, and then at 12:30 and finally someone was able to tell me they went through my car, but they did not do any work on the vehicle. They did not have an estimate on parts or a quote. I looked up parts myself and was able to do it on FCPEURO in 5 minutes. The lack of communication from them was disappointing and disrespectful of my time. If you want your car fixed, don’t bother taking it there.

This repair shop is 2nd to none and the staff is OUTSTANDING. I brought car hauler (they did a diagnosis) and winch broke. I went in and explained what had happened, within 5 minutes 5 or 6 men were out there helping me. It only took couple minutes but they will get a lifetime of gratitude from me. GOD BLESS those men and prayers for continued success

Fantastic experience. We brought our Volvo in to have some electrical gremlins searched out. Our service manager, George was wonderful to work with. Super friendly and responsive. George definitely passes the vibe check as someone I’d go have a beer with (important litmus test). From the beginning he was very informative and transparent about the process. Our service required additional funds authorization but no charges were added or work commenced until we were given a clear explanation of what they were and why, so I felt like we had full control over the process. George took a lot of time to explain everything through the repair in language that I could understand (I’m not a car guy, it’s usually a foreign language). George did a great job advocating for us when our extended warranty company tried to push back on covering the work. This I really appreciated. Steve’s has secured a lifelong customer after this first transaction. I trust them fully to handle any issue we have with our import car at a fair price and with honesty. Previously our only option was the dealership, and you know how that goes. This level of service and honesty is hard to find sometimes in the auto repair world so I am thankful we ended up finding Steve’s.

Brought my Jaguar XF into Steve’s European after an outrageous quote from the dealer to fix a couple electrical issues. Steve’s took care of the issues for a fraction of the cost the dealer quoted. Everyone I worked with was very kind and professional. Highly recommend!

Steve’s is AMAZING!!! I needed work on my 2018 Jetta. The estimate was spot on. They had a loaner vehicle for me. And, when I needed a battery replaced, told me to “just swing by” and installed at no charge. This was after receiving advice on the most cost effective battery. The advice came from Steve himself. The entire experience was amazing. As a single mom, honest car service is paramount. Thank you, Steve’s for amazing service!!! I will continue to patronize and recommend your shop.

Brought in my car for an engine inspection and on the way there the rear spring broke. I needed to leave my car (as the parts didn't come in on time to get it done before the end of the day). We're a single car home, and I had no way to get back home. So without hesitation (and free of charge) they set me up with an Uber ride home (also a porter to pick me up on the day my car was available-and stopped at the bank for me).Additionally, they had my car back to me within 2 days. So a special shout out to Nick/James-both amazing guys- who went above and beyond in terms of customer service. Always a pleasure to work with a company that doesn't talk down to their clients, and keeps them in the loop every step of the way.Cannot heap on enough of a recommendation. Go see them for your next car repair!

The whole staff at Steve's European Automotive are friendly and courteous. Their prices are also very reasonable. Steve's service is so good that I drive all the way from Canton to Waterford to have my Audi serviced. Over my 30 years servicing foreign cars in multiple states (including dealerships), Steve's European Automotive is by far the best auto repair shop I have ever worked with.

This car shop stays busy for a reason, great work and fair pricing. For any enthusiast who cares about their car and is wary of many auto shops, Steves is the place for you. I do most minor maintenance myself, such as oil changes, filters, brakes etc. But there's certainly things I am not comfortable /qualified to do on my vehicle. They were able to squeeze a transmission atf service in on short notice before a family road trip and I am very glad to have had the work done. Audi as a company will tell you that the transmission has "lifetime" fluid in it, however if you research the manufacturer (ZF) of most of their recent automatic transmissions you will find a 50k mile recommendation. While that may be a bit overzealous, my Q5 has been driving smoother than ever since I got it back. I did the service at 112k miles and was unsure if it had ever occurred before I bought the car second hand. They specialize in German cars and the lot is full of all sorts of interesting models. Big thanks to the team at Steve's, I went there on a recommendation from a friend and would certainly suggest you do the same. Have peace of mind knowing that my car was serviced correctly and with the right transmission fluid - they did not use any cheap third party fluids. The work is top quality, and the pricing for that level of work is more than fair. They also warranty their work. I'll certainly be back for service in the future.

Dealing with the incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff at Steve’s makes me never want to go anywhere else for my car maintenance. Steve is a great guy and it is apparent he has been in the business for many years. He also introduced me to his son Jordan who also helps him run his shop. From start to finish I felt listened to, and they explained things to me in layman’s terms so I could understand exactly what was going on with my car. I can’t imagine a better experience anywhere else. Thank you Steve, Jordan, and crew!

I've been going to Steve's for over a decade, and it's always been a step above any other place. The whole experience is great—kind, honest, reasonable, and reliable, with excellent service. One thing that has never changed is my satisfaction and the good feeling I get every time I visit. It's always the same friendly faces—Jordan, JD, and Steve—greeting me since day one. Other businesses could definitely learn from how Steve's does things. A true class act!

Simply put, Steve's European is a Class A business with Class A employees. They've done excellent work on my Audi RS5. I'm very particular when it comes to my car and like to be informed. I ask a lot of technical questions which most likely gets on their nerves, but one could never tell if they were irritated as they always portray professional candor. Sure, it's expensive to service Audis but their quality of work & prices are FAR superior compared to a dealership. They have a permanent customer from me as I'll go there for all my needs.

Suggest my boss go to Steves European Auto on the word of my fiance' and I'm embarrassed. They supposedly repaired the vehicle, yet two months later the same problem exist and Jordan says it's another $1200, what a ripoff, the same problem in which $4000 was initially paid, now they want more. They said there's a warranty yet they aren't honoring it. It took weeks for the initial work, they didn't have a loaner, yet they sell you on these things up front. I will never recommend them again, terrible customer service and lack of competency!👎

Jordan (2nd generation of Steve’s Euro.) and his team services both of our import vehicles. I’m not sure what’s better, the impeccable work that’s done every time, or the excellent customer service. 10/5 stars

Was recommended here by a friend, and was definitely not wrong to send me here. Was surprised how far they booked out but was very much worth the wait for quality of services received. The service I received even came in under the quoted amount by about $50-$60. Staff was all extremely polite and professional the whole way through. I dropped my car here to get inspected. They didn’t give me a notice that they’d be keeping it over night and then didn’t call me when it was done on a friday when they were going to be closed for the weekend so i had to call multiple times. Since then it’s been 12 days and i STILL havent gotten a quote for the things i was told needed fixing and i’ve called/texted/emailed almost every day since monday last week with no reply.

This has the comfiest seating of any auto repair place I've ever been. Update - I deal with JD and George and they are always very nice. I’ve been taking my Jetta there for over four years. And they work on my wife’s Mazda too.

Upon my recent arrival in Michigan, I looked for an alternative to the Audi dealership to service my '21 Q5. As a VW/Audi shop, Steve’s is the best, but they are pros on anything European and beyond - plus they are always packed with the coolest and rarest cars which is a sight! JD and Jordan are the nicest and most patient people and resolved all of my questions, both on the phone and in person, plus always having really cool car talk with them (we are all V.A.G. guys in the end of the day). A honest, transparent group that work like a family, and highly trained in all aspects.

I would recommend Steve's European Automotive to anyone. I feel they are honest and their business has a very welcoming atmosphere. The employees are very friendly, smile and seem very happy, which says a lot about a business. George is my contact person and he is outstanding. He is always upfront about my car's needs, very helpful if I have any emergency car problems and always transparent about costs. I would like to thank Nick for taking time to analyze my truck latch that wouldn't close, on such short notice, and then getting it unstuck. What a great guy. Thank You so much for taking care of my 2012 VW EOS. We both really appreciate it! 😉

I've been taking my cars to Steve's for a very long time (20+ years). My current Jetta TDI now has 530,000 miles on it, and all of its service has come from Steve's. My most recent visit followed the pattern SEA's is known for: professionalism, courtesy, promptness, and friendliness. It's why I keep going back, though the shop is near an hour from my home. They're worth it.

Nice, trustworthy mechanics ya cant find everyday. Came in for a complete inspection of the vehicle, they sent back a full report of the condition of the fluids, error codes, pictures of the suspension components and any issues they came across. There was a few things that need to be replaced asap as well as parts that i could hold off servicing/replacing down the line. I will go to these guys over VAST every day of the week.
