I called Gary because my Atwood water heater stopped working and the switch wouldn't light up. He was a wealth of information and was able to talk me through troubleshooting it myself over the phone. I highly recommend him for any RV repair and I'm beyond grateful for helping me get it going again. 10/10

I'm disappointed with the service I received (or rather, didn’t receive) from Gary. I'm camping in Woodland Park, and he did make the effort to come see me quickly for an issue I'm having with my refrigerator (it doesn't run reliably on propane). Because I'm outside of town, it cost me an extra travel fee to get him up here. That's not unusual—but when he came and looked at my fridge, all he did was fire it up and tell me it was working, which cost me $180 including travel and 20 minutes of his being onsite. While he was there he watched a YouTube video about RV refrigerators - that’s all he did. Later that day it wasn't working again, so I texted him and he said he'd look into it. Almost 2 weeks later, I haven't heard anything from him. I'm moving on to our next stop, so I'm going to have to pay a brand new tech to look at it all over again. $180 with nothing to show for it leaves me feeling very disappointed—especially because Jeff from Apache stopped by and blew out my burner to see if that would help, for no charge at all. For $180, it would have been nice if Gary would at least have tried something, though he didn't really seem to have a lot of equipment with him. Most RV techs have a work truck or similar to carry all their tools and gear, but Gary showed up in a small sedan, so I'm honestly not sure what kind of work he was prepared to do even if the fix had been more obvious. In his defense my fridge issues do seem to be finicky. But $180 for no work and no more responses when the initial visit was unsuccessful—not even to tell me that he was stumped and couldn't help me—is a bummer. My advice? Just call Jeff from Apache the first time. Don’t make my mistake!

I had Garry come out and meet my mother to check out a leak inside my trailer. He charged me 350 and did not diagnose the leak inside. Instead he found one outside that I was unconcerned about. Then wanted to charge me 450 to change the water pump to solve the outside leak without even fixing the inside leak! On top of it all it was about 3 weeks from initial call to he being able to come do work. I tried to be fair and work with Garry but he is overpriced for one witch is fine, but uncooperative witch is not okay.

We call as we had no electric. Gary came out that day got our 50 amp plug fixed. He even loaned us his 50 amp power cord as I'm on oxygen. What a blessing this man has been. I'll definitely be using him again and referring to friends.

While on a 5 day visit to beautiful Colorado Springs, I had my slide hydrolics fail. After several calls, no one was able to commit to service on short notice. Until, I called SW Mobile RV Service and spoke with Gary. Although busy, he committed to coming to me the very next day. He kept me informed as to his arrival time. When he arrived, Gary was very professional and quick to troubleshoot. He also advised me as to what to do longer term to avoid this issue in the future. If you want great service at a reasonable price, I highly recommend SW Mobile RV Service and Gary. Thank you Gary!

Worked directly with Gary. He was fantastic and gave me next day service on as a third party inspector for an RV I was buying. Was very thorough and very accommodating as my schedule shifted a few times. 10/10 will be using again and recommending to friends.

I called 8 different companies trying to get help with my broken washer/dryer combo unit. This is the only company where I was able to speak to someone knowledgeable and truly helpful. He gave me great advice and it sounds like they don't mark up their repair parts on things, so that is blessing in this time of inflation. I would not hesitate to work with this company on any repair need.

I don't know where to begin, and some of this may not be important, but I want to share how Gary portrayed his unselfishly and kind ways. My parents live in their RV my mom is 89, had just had a knee replacement, and my dad has stage 3 dementia. First the furnace went out then 2 days later the water heater. I called Gary and he went out there the same day to meet with us to assess the problem. Upon my mom's request, Gary went to work to locate a new furnace. The weather was below zero and therefore my parents were using space heaters to keep warm which wasn't safe and that was a big concern to Gary. Many companies had shut down on the West Coast due to the weather. Gary was great in keeping me posted and he searched endlessly to locate the furnace for a 1995 Monaco. The furnace had finally came in on January 23, 2024. Gary went out to the motor home and replaced the furnace immediately so that my parents wouldn't be using space heaters. I strongly believe in God and Angels and Gary was one of those Angel's. He not only kept my parents safe, but he also gave them a break on the cost for extra parts that was required in order to get the job done promptly, safely and cost efficient. Gary also took time out of his busy schedule to go and assess the water heater and never charged them for the service call, which he could had. There are no words to say Thank you, there are no words to say how much I truly appreciated his hard efforts and there are no words to say Thank you so much for treating my parents like they were his own parents and that alone meant the world to me. If you are ever in need of anyone to work on your RV I would highly and strongly recommend you calling Southwest Mobile RV Service and Repair. Gary will give you his all. Gary fixed our rv furnace in a very timely and professional manner. He not only replaced the motor, but he also made improvements to secure it and added features to make it run more efficiently. Gary went out of his way to get us on his schedule! We highly recommend him!

I had an 82' Fleetwood Wilderness 21ft camper that I wanted to completely remodel. Gary did a complete inspection and gave me a detailed list on what needed to be done to the camper. Gave great recommendations and concrete time frame and prices. I ended up not having the time or money for project but his help was still super appreciated.

This man charged me $250 to look at my furnace which i believe is an unfair price. Then he drove about 50 yards to my friends tiny home, didn't have the tools to open her skirting, left and charged her $150. He arrived unprepared and still charged her. Unbelievable.

We are a band touring in a motorhome and had several issues that needed to be addressed asap to keep us on the road and Gary went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make that happen. He stayed in communication with us in the days leading up to our arrival in CO Springs and fit us in his schedule. From welding a part to letting us use his personal car to run errands while he worked on the motorhome Gary came through and got us back on the road in one day. From replacing the starter, disassembling the windshield wiper system and repairing and welding parts to fix it and diagnostics with water pump and wiring he handled it all. So grateful for Southwest Mobile RV repair! After a stressful 12-15 phone calls to other shops and mobile rv mechanics in 3 different cities and getting no where, one phone call to Gary and everything was in motion for the repairs. The best 5 star service from beginning to end! HIGHLY recommend!!

Had an issue with our new RV's electric toilet. Tried multiple mobile repair services. Some were booked too far out. Some didn't want to make an effort to get to us (on base at USAFA). One of the many calls we made referred us to Gary Wendorf, Southwest Mobile RV Tech. Gary responded to our request. Even though he was busy, he made the effort to work with us. He let us know upfront that he "may not have the parts with him, but could diagnose." Did not disappoint! Showed up the next day when he said he would. Troubleshot the problem (toilet electronic control board), and provided a solution that would allow us to travel back home to get a permanent fix from our dealer. Told us up front what his service call fee would be, and then charged a fair price for diagnosis and putting the toilet back together to allow us to travel. We would definitely recommend Gary to others -- he was responsive, knowledgeable, and fairly priced.

I had an rv heater that went down for my Airbnb and needed it up and running. Gary is extremely knowledgeable and came, diagnosed the problem and solved my furnace issues. Thank you Gary for solving this thorn in my side and allowing me to have heat for my guest in a timely manner!

We lost the electricity on the driver side of our Motorhome. We are in Colorado Springs working so we are living on site in our Coach. We left a message as instructed, the call back was prompt. An appt was set, he was running late but called to let us know. Gary Diagnosed our problem,& got us back on line. We are pleased and will use him again. We felt the charge was reasonable
