Southwest Auto was very thorough in their assessment of what was wrong with my vehicle and were quick to make the repairs. They were also very good and communicating with me about how long repairs would take and the cost.

Well the ole Chevy had an incident last night on the way to husker harvest days in Grand Island Nebraska. We left for the show right after I got off work yesterday afternoon and about 6 hours into the drive the a/c compressor bracket bolts snapped. There was only 2 of 3 in there that should have been which was likely the cause. So we let the truck cool down (since without the accessory drive belt there was no fan or waterpump functionality) for an hour and drove about 2 miles and turned it off let it cool and repeat the process for 3 more times until we made it to Southwest Auto and Service Repair in Lincoln Nebraska. Slept in the bed of the truck in a reclining lawn chair and sleeping bag until the owner showed up at 630 and saw us. He got the shop all opened up and got us lined up to get the broken bolts extracted. This place was a god send, had a Napa right next door too. Thank God for good folks like James (owner) and Romeo. The staff at this shop are superb, very respectful, and great at their job! We should be at the show before noon! God bless you all!!!

Got a lot of money for multiple visits to this shop. When would it end? I finally had to take my car somewhere else hoping these mechanics would get it right & in 5 days or less my car would still be working properly. Beware unless you have LOTS of money to invest in fixing something new that goes wrong for several weeks in a row.
