Try to avoid this place unless you have deep pockets, they charged me $352.45 to replace 2 clearance lights on a reefer trailer, including a $49.50 part run since they "didn't" carry that style of lights, so if they don't have them why in the hell they are a shop?, for that price I could have take my trailer to the Utility Dealership and it could be a lot cheaper.

I came into Southern Tire Mart and I had a leaking windshield and bad brakes got checked in. Got my quotes for everything and was hoping that it didn’t take too long. I end up running into The Mechanic Taz why at the last time I was here and he took care of me very polite was moving with a purpose and very professional. Definitely want to look for him. If you have to stop by that Tire Mart A1 top-of-the-line service.

7/31/24 : Super nice people. I had just picked up parts from the freightliner next door and pulled in here and noticed they didn't look to busy. Called them up and they got me in right away. They quoted me a fair time of .5-1hr of labor to replace my crankcase breather and got it done in a half hour. Detriot books it at .6 and the T/A I called yesterday for a labor rate idea qouted me a crazy 2hrs. I'll definitely be back here again.

Please don't use they alignment machine!!! They eull not be able to ptovide you with the alignment readings before/after plus the aligning only the toe. Really 200$ to align nust the toe?

I purchase a steer tire (Yokohama) in December 2023 and paid close to $900 out the door. In April of 2024 , 4 months later the tire just peeled off and left me sitting on the side of the road , thankfully I was on a major Interstate and plenty of repair shops around.I reached out to the shop and explained my situation and was told without a tire to examine nothing can be done.I sent them all the pictures as evidence but they offered no sort of compensation. They wanted to chalk it up to a road hazard which it was not.When I googled Yokohama I found several recall fo faulty tires during that timeframe. Management didn't resolve my issue and now I have to face the full cost of a replacement steer tire because they sold me a faulty one in the first place.

Our travel trailer broke down and the gentleman here looked at the situation for us. As they deal in tractor trailers they did not have the parts to fix ours, but looked to find us help, checked on us repeatedly (we were stuck in the parking lot for 2 days), and we're so kind and gracious that even though we didn't have work done I HAVE to comment on their generosity and empathy. The guys here helped make what could've been an awful situation something palatable.

Bought a set of centramatics, had them install here. And they didn't do it right.. see the centramatic is not supposed be touching the valve stem. This was a while agp. Today i took to fix a flat. And " the hole was ti much to the side." More than an inch. Clearance. . Offered a new tire! Hahah making that sale huh. More than 1k since its a super single. Too stricl to fic a flat bt no to be smoking while mounting it...

I took my Truck at this location for oilchange and tire replacement after I drove 20miles the oil is leak and smoke out off my exhaust pipe ! I called to check what they did wrong , After two hours the guy showed up he checked he didn’t knew anything! The manager called me to paid him $300 I asked him please I spent a lot of money already at your shop give me atleast discount he said I will call the sheriff on you! I don’t know southern tire mart put this guy as a manager there , anyways the Truck is towed to the dealership and My warranty company paid over $20k for this repair so their lawyers and mine start the process already bring this case to civil court! Fellow owner operator and company drivers aware this place you can go if you have 20k for repairs!!
