My car ran out of gas and I really needed to use a gas can. I called the nearest auto shop and offered to rent one of their cans, they refused to take any payment and let me use their gas can for free to fill up at a station. I’m so grateful for their help. Will definitely be coming back for any auto maintenance!

So happy I found them; they earned my trust and business for a long time --- I'm a young guy who never even went to an auto shop before as I never had a car. I inherited a 15-year-old car from my older sister, which she completely messed up. When it broke down, I went to three different auto shops to try to figure out the issue... The first guy quoted me $1,300, and the second guy quoted me $1,550... I was stressed because I didn't think my car was worth that much. When I went to Song's, he took my car apart to see the issue, then asked, "did those other guys tell you that you had to replace this whole part?" (I don't remember what the part was called, again I know nothing about cars). I said yes, that's precisely what the other two companies told me. He then explained in a few minutes why replacing the whole part was unnecessary, especially for an old car like mine, and that many auto shops try to make customers replace the entire part to make more profit. He then explained that I would probably just have to replace a minor part of the vehicle, which was not as expensive. I can tell intuitively that he was honest, and he and his sons are transparent about everything. Also, I had been procrastinating on replacing the super old car battery my sister never returned. Song's son replaced it for me and even cleaned the whole section (my sister didn't clean this thing for years...). That wasn't even part of his job!! They even replaced my headlights. I have an old Honda Accord- if you need to be made aware, this is one of those cars where you need to take out the entire front part of the car just to replace the headlights... It's over $200 to do this because of that design defect... Song's son somehow managed to put his hand through the back of the headlights (through the region where the front tires are located) and changed the headlights... He was in pain, but he somehow did this!!! The prices for all three things were way more reasonable than the other two guys. It wasn't cheap, but for the amount of work they did and the amount of money I saved, it's a no brainer. So happy I found them; they earned my trust and business for a long time.

THIS GUY IS A CROOK! Buyer beware. I took the car to get inspected and assessed for repairs. He charged me $120 just to diagnoses the problems. He never mentioned anything about any charge for diagnosing the issues. I talked him down to $80. Avoid this guy! SONG WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME. Shame on him and people like him

Went to this place cause of the good reviews. I get there No hi hey what’s going on with the car. I was just “told I’m 2 busy right now”. I asked if I can show him real quick what my issue was and he couldn’t take 1 min away from his precious time. Clearly they’re not in need of my business or anyone else’s. I understand shops can be busy but to turn away people like that for future business is not good. Definitely not coming here again. So if you go here and you see cars at the shop don’t even bother cause you’ll just be turned away 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have trust issues with any type of service industry in Los Angeles, but I drove by here one day & decided to stop in. I’m glad I did because now I’ve found my mechanic for life. My car just needed some regular maintenance, which was done perfectly, but I appreciate how he explained everything to me & showed me my old battery & the headlight boxes. I didn’t tell them I had problems with my wheel fitment or the way it sounds when I drove, but they noticed an issue and took care of it and my car feels brand new. Thank you! I’ll be back when it’s time

Honest and straight forward! They figured out my problem in one day after I had seen two other mechanics already. They have a rockstar electrical guy (Steve?) who truly knows his stuff. They worked with me and took the time to answer all my questions and even demonstrated their findings. The dream auto shop.

Very helpful and honest,the first time I came here, that's was last year, one of my closest friend told me about this place, I was shock and surprise when I had my maintenance here, after they finish my car for at least 2 to 4hours, I'm expecting at least 800 dollars but no no no they just charge me halt of that prize I was surprise really surprise 😀 I've been going to Mitsubishi car dealership since I got my car 2013, at Duarte and I live in Los Angeles, after I finish my warranty for my car every time I go there, they always charge me for maintenance for 1200 sometimes 1400 for extra something they say.. thank you for your great service and honest living ^_^

When I first came here, I knew fairy quickly that Mr. Song is an honest mechanic that knows his stuff just by his diagnosis and recommendations for repairs. He never repaired anything on my car unless it was needed. One time I went to him for a specific repair and he told me that my radiator would be next to be replaced although he didn’t recommend I replace it then. Sure enough, a year later my radiator busted. I’ve been going to him for years and he is the best!
