I was stuck. My car was spewing transmission fluid everywhere. I'm not a native of this area. I don't know anything about it. A friend of mine towed me to this location because he said they were honest mechanics and would figure the problem out quickly. When I arrived everyone stopped what they were doing and helped diagnose my car. Turns out it was a minor problem. Even though he could have said the diagnosis fee is.$100 and we charge $100 an hour to fix. He didn't do that this guy got me running for under $100..These are old-school mechanics that.have that modern touch. If I lived in Hartwell I'd recommend them. Thanks for getting me back on the road.

I just picked up my car and I'm very happy with the overall experience 😀 my AC has never blown colder even though it's almost 100 degrees outside.They put a brand new AC compressor in for less than I expected. and I got my car back the same day! Great job Smith automotive! I know where I'm taking my car from now on.

Great customer service! My daughter had a belt replaced. A few weeks later it began squeaking again. They replaced it same day.! Her engine light came on and they found out what was wrong. The car was fixed the next day. They stand by their service. Highly recommend!

I just had two of my vehicles worked on by Smith Automotive Service, LLC. I couldn't be more impressed! Their customer service was friendly and their service exceptional. They recently worked on my 1993 Toyota 4Runner V6 4x4. It had some electrical gremlins which they were able to troubleshoot and fix. While they were troubleshooting the issue, they found other issues that they fixed without charging me extra. After I got my 4Runner back, I brought in my 3rd Gen Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins in for service (complete front end suspension, and AC components including timing belt). Trust me I was very please, I had other shops turn me away because they don't work on diesels or older Japanese engines. If your looking for a mechanic shop in or near Hartwell, GA. I would highly recommend Smith Automotive Service LLC. They really do go above and beyond, and their service will make you feel like family!

These are honest people that are really good at what they do. ——————————————————————- Not only are these people amazing at what they do, they are good and honest people. I bought a vintage Honda 1990’s classic car from someone in the Hartwell area (I’m in Philadelphia). I called Smith’s and the owners went above and beyond to help make sure the car was mechanically sound — and even helped me the administrative side of getting the sale done. This is a good, honest, family business - with owners that are professional — but kind. Kayla - thank you a million times. I wish you guys had your business here.

Huge shout out to smith automotive! Thought my relay went out on my blinker light. Turned out to be just a bent prong. They could of easily said yeah it was the relay and got me for a few hundred. Very honest shop. Highly recommended!

I had been having brake issues. I thought it was the abs, Chris said it could be the master cylinder, so I thought about it and decided to get that fixed first, that's what it needed, had he not been honest I could have spent more money than necessary. I highly recommend Smith's automotive. Kayla is the sweetest person, she truly makes you feel like part of the family. I'm a customer for life.
