My husband and I were on vacation in Sarasota, and a radiator hose blew on our car. We went there and Rob said he could get us in right away and get it fixed. He did a great job and the price was right. Thank you Rob!

My wipers stop functioning, and it looked like it came from the wipers motor that broke. I was expected to have to change that motor. But Ben being mindful identified the actual problem which ended up being very unusual, and had never been seen before. This was fixed for a very low cost. Ben's integrity, ingenuity and resourcefulness saved me a couple of hundred dollars. Thank you again. I am very grateful!

Rob is a nightmare to deal with. Very poor communication and let's his anger get the better of him. Will also sell you a truck motor and call it a ls3 wouldn't surprise me if he reused gaskets and head bolts for his "builds". Do not recommend this shop to anyone for anything unless you're looking for a headache.

They couldn't fix my ABS system because it was tied into my hybrid systems... but were upfront about it and sent me to the dealership... Rob the owner super nice dude.

This guy is a complete hack job he doesn’t fix car he’s just destroys them and lets them sit on his lot to get destroyed. Paid him $2000 up front before he even touched it Also likes taking parts off of your vehicle a not giving them back claiming they where never there. He claimed my car had a “wiring issue” he tried to fix never could get it the issue resolved till I took it to a different shop an they diagnosed a ecu to be bad the shop I took it too also found a bunch of wires that were cut an spliced into places that made no sense “coming from the shop that actually repaired my vehicle” btw the wiring harness was completely untouched an was still in the factory wrap before I let this guy touch my car. He also charged me for diagnostic that he could never figure out first he started with the fuel pump being bad then the spark plug then the factory ecu needed tuned because the car has a axle back exhaust on it “this vehicle does not need a tune for a axle back to run” I found out down the road then told me it was a wiring issue he was completely just guessing hoping that one of the parts would fix it. Could never get in touch with the guy tried contacting him multiple times for updates for over a month span I had to drive to his shop to ask him about an update then he got mad that I showed up an kicked me out for asking him about an update on the vehicle told me to tow it out of there or “he’s gonna tow it for me” I wasn’t even rude he was just upset that he couldn’t give me any answers. Would never recommend this shop unless you want your car to get destroyed unfortunately I lost a lot of money because of this guy an he’s bad business skills.

After searching several places in Bradenton and Palmetto with no luck I came across Skip's Automotive in Sarasota. Once I went and spoke with Jessie, I knew he had the can do attitude to fix my van. As promised he fixed the electrical short on my van and kept an open line of communication throughout the process. I can't thank them enough for their honest service and fair rates. I highly recommend them. Don't waste your time and money with amateurs get it done right with the pros at Skip's Automotive.!!!!

I had an issue separating a part to get to a pulley so I could finish installing my stroker. Ran to skips and they were able to separate the parts to retrieve my pulley for me. Great service. Will be returning to have my stroker tuned here.

Robert was great to deal with, answering questions before I even became a customer. He was able to custom Tune my car and achieve Dyno results better than I expected for a better price than shops in Orlando were quoting. The work was done on-time and I even got a ride to the car rental shop that I used during the service. The shop also installed custom headers and exhaust back pipes on my car, which caused the mufflers to get misaligned. Apparently the car was supposed to have been driven and then had the exhaust fittings adjusted and re-tightened; since this was not done, my muffler tips actually melted holes in my plastic bumper under valance. I sent Robert pictures and he made everything right by ordering a new OEM valance and having it shipped directly to my house.

I called for a second opinion for a head gasket job. The owner Rob told me he could "save" me some money. A week with my car, he called me and said it was $420 and he "reseated spark plugs". What bologna. Didn't even put new plugs in. I was never told an estimate, just a bill. Next day it was running terrible as before. Rob did offer to take it back without charging me for diagnosing. A refund would have been suffice. I got a head gasket job elsewhere and been running perfect since.
