I called today because I thought I needed a tire plugged. It couldn’t be plugged and I needed a new tire. They took care of getting tire and putting it on super quick. The guys were really polite and I can’t thank them enough for such good and fast service!!! Will be back!

Me and my friend went to this motor for a headlight change, we went there at 11:00 AM and they said that it will be done in 1 hour, and yet we comeback at 12:00, 1:15 and until 2:50 PM we call again and they said they have not done anything yet, and they can do it tomorrow. Man, if you can't do it, just say so, stop wasting your customer's time so much if you can't do it.

This place is awesome the staff are knowledgable and friendly! I have used their services on more than one occasion. I myself am not the most knowledgable about cars and they were able to explain everything in detail and answer all my questions in standard language. Also, ithey have given me stellar reccomendation on were to go for work they do not specialize in or do/

Dropped my car off on short notice due to oil leak and smoke emanating from engine bay. They diagnosed the problem in less than an hour from the time I pulled up to the shop. Luckily, problem was covered under manufacturer recall. They didn’t charge me a single cent because no work was done since the fix would be through the manufacturer. I really appreciate their support, integrity, and the overall customer experience. Next time my car has a problem I will definitely be taking it to ShortVine Star Motors.

Matt and his crew are top notch. We have used them many times to keep several of our older vehicles on the road. They are very honest and reasonably priced. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic. A good, honest mechanic is GOLDEN.

Quickly helped me patch a hole in my tire that I got from a nail on the highway! They were super kind and fast, and even checked my other tires’ air as well. Could’ve easily scammed me as it was obvious that I didn’t know much about my tires lol. Definitely will come back again if I need help!

Gabe was amazing. Was driving to Houston and the plastic underneath my car dropped down and was scraping on the highway so I pulled off and stopped by. After explaining the situation he helped me fix the plastic underneath and then also checked all of my air, oil and fluids and even refilled my Power steering! Best experience I’ve had at a repair shop. Thanks again. 10/10

Whether your local or have a kid from out of state I highly recommend taking your vehicle(s) here. I get it, we're all worried about being taken to the cleaners, are they gonna take advantage of my son/daughter and are the prices fair. This group is friendly, consultative, honest, presents options, pricing is very competitive, bend over backwards to fit you in, and they stand by their work.

Great place, Great people. Matt really help me out. My son is a UC student and had a nail in his tire. Matt even though he was real busy was able to fix the tire between my son's classes. This was such a relief because I couldn't do anything and my son needed to drive to a school function which was about 30 minute away that same day.

My son is a UC student, so it was a convenient location, however, they tried to take advantage of him. They quoted him that a $2500 repair was needed. He brought it home and we took it to a well recognized auto repair shop. They told us that the quote we received was for unnecessary repairs. The only thing wrong was a loose spark plug. This ended up being less than $100. The noise has stopped and it is running fine. Thank you so much for your kind and genuine reply. It really means a lot. Thank you for your time. Also I appreciate the offering for reimbursement, but that is not necessary. Thanks again for your “class act” reply.

These guys are wonderful. I came here twice before in the past few years for services they can't do. But, they gave me advice and where to go (and honestly told me to go to Toyota for certain things). I came back again for a headlight problem that I tried to fix for over 2 years. It was such an easy fix in their eyes that they did not charge me for it. Taking it to a dealership would have cost me $100+ just to get looked at. And I needed a tire rotation which they did for $23.99, way less than Valvoline.

We are from out of town visiting our UC student and ran into an unexpected issue with our car. ShortVine Star Motors came highly recommended and they lived up to the recommendations! We were very pleased with our service (they explained everything- including sending us photos) before doing any of the work. We were limited on time and they worked hard to get it back us quickly. They earned our business and will use them again if the need arises. Thank you!

They are people! This afternoon, I was hurry to go my hospital appointment at UC medical center. Suddenly, the rear right tire was showing not enough pressure and could not pump the air in. I stopped at Star Mortors and ask help. The young gentleman at office desk immediately came out and help me check and pump the air. By the end, he did not accept my small gift for hot coffee or beer. I arrived doctor’ office on the time. Otherwise, I am not sure how I could get to see doctor. I would appreciate his help again hereby! Xu

Bringing your car here is a really personal and human experience. Gabe, who works front desk, is detailed, communicative, and genuine. The mechanics do thorough work and they won't push you to do anything you aren't ready for. I won't be bringing my truck anywhere else but here.

Gabe and team are legit! I went to this shop 5 years ago when I was in college for all my car troubles and the service has not changed this whole time. Also having them communicate via text is a god send in terms of convenience. I live across town in kentucky and still make my way up here for this reason!

I am a female college student at UC who has been coming to Shortvine Star Motors for the past 6 months. I drive an older car, a 2006 to be specific, that has been having issues. It isn’t the most reliable and with living in Clifton I have had to get additional repairs such as my Catalytic Converter replaced. Gabe and the shortvine motors team have truly done an incredible job. I feel like as a young woman, I feel vulnerable walking into a repair shop because I am unsure of what everything means all the time, and get nervous that i’ll end up paying more for a repair than I should. That has never been the case at this repair shop. Gabe always helps to explain things to me, and works with me and my dad to help come up with the best solution for the car repair.

I had a great 1st experience with Star motors. I got a screw in my tire while at work. I called them they got me in and out back on the road working fast. They we friendly and professional. He answered all my questions about how they would repair my tire, and they topped off my fluids and check my other tires. The most important part was they could drive my car (its standard not an automatic.) . That is worth more to me than anything because that means less stress on me.
