This was my first mechanic since moving here after my car went crazy on the side of the road. They quickly diagnosed my issue, fixed it, and suggested future updates that I could hold off on. I was in a pinch and they didn't take advantage of me in any way. The cost was super reasonable. Thank you for making a new customer so happy and for being so trustworthy!

Best mechanic I have ever been to. The most honest I have ever dealt with. Multiple occasions they have fixed my issue with an extremely low price. Will not take my vehicle anywhere else.

Every time I bring my vehicle in, I am impressed with how quickly they look at my car, diagnosis the problem, and fix it. The prices are great and the service is top notch. Chris and his team are the best and I recommend them to everyone who needs a mechanic.

Honest mechanics are hard to find. This is one of them. Great people. Competitive rates. Been using them for about 3 years now. They have handled both small and large jobs for me. Definitely recommend.

Upon calling to schedule an appt, they were able to get my car in immediately. Dropped off after hours using the key box, and next day within 2 hours of the business day starting they called me and described the issues with vehicle. 6 hours later everything I needed to have repaired was done and I was picking my vehicle up by 4:30pm. Great service, and I will be back with any future car needs.

Chris and the team at Shaver Road Auto are great. They are courteous, professional, and patient, and I feel like they really care about their customers. My headlights weren’t working on my work vehicle. I went to Muffler Man in Portage and the guy was so rude and told me he couldn’t look at it today. I saw this business and decided to pull in. The service was so fast, friendly and professional! I was in there less than 3 minutes before they had my hood up. They fixed the problem and the price was very reasonable. I’ll recommend anyone to this company! Great job!!!

This place is excellent, fair prices, kind staff and mechanics. Never try to charge you for things you don’t need. We have had both our vehicles worked on here and never had any issues. They are always honest about what needs to be fixed and what can wait. We highly recommend.

Great service every time I've been in. They give frank and honest consultations and I've never felt like I'm getting upsold or otherwise "taken for a ride." Back in 2020 I was buying a used car and had Chris and the team inspect it before taking it to the dealer's preferred inspector, and their insights saved me what could have been a very large repair bill for something I hadn't noticed. They absolutely get the credit for getting me a good deal out of what could have been an awful first-time buyer experience.

Have been coming to this shop since 2015 or 2016 and never had a bad experience. They are almost always able to get me in next day and don't try to upsell you on stuff. Never had a problem with any of their fixes and everyone is great to deal with. I plan to keep coming back!

I was having some weird whistle sound from my car but not sure of where it comes. Worried about the safety and took appointment with Shave Road Auto. 1. They had an appointment scheduled for me when most of the Auto services are not available till 1st week of Jan. 2. In spite of fixing the Hub cap (we think that's where the sound comes from lets see). They (Dave and team) also helped me in removing a hanging metal from the car. All this with no price and on a quick time the same day. Very honest business.

They Didn’t put any oil in my car after an oil change! Went back 3 times to see why my warning light came on minutes after leaving.. they said it was fine& it was going to over heat if I left, due to a non existent coolant leak.. Do not give this dump any business!!
