Our awning caught a tree along a campground road and bent arms. We called ahead to campground where we were schedule to be at next and got his name from Ranger. Gave Josh a call, sent pictures and he order parts and got them in and fixed it before we were off to next location! Good communication and good work! It was an expensive oops!

Josh returned my call quickly. He showed up on time and worked very hard to repair my gas heater even in a pouring down rain. He kept me informed the whole time and did a great job at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him.

I am amazed by the quality of work Josh does, and the depth and breadth of his knowledge about RVs and how to repair them! I had an extremely difficult roof repair that would have cost me double what he charged me to do the work by any of the typical RV repair places out there and I'm certain they would not have done the quality of work that he did for me. Shaffer's Certified Mobile RV Service is the best place to have work on your RV! I'll add photos to this post later to show the qualify of his work. I strongly recommend using Josh for any RV repair you have!

Josh Shaffer was exceptional! He came out to replace our RV’s AC and went above and beyond in every aspect. His communication was top-notch, and he made sure to keep us updated every step of the way. Despite his busy schedule, Josh prioritized our job and added us to his emergency list due to the urgency of getting our RV ready for family friends who had been impacted by Hurricane Helene. He even arrived at 7 a.m. to complete the work before starting his regular day. We are incredibly grateful for his promptness, professionalism, and dedication. Josh was out with in a few days of my call. He replaced my AC and took care of the insurance. Then he replaced the roof of my trailer and help me with my claim. The work was done in a timely manner. I was so very happy with all of the work he did for me. I would highly recommend him

I contacted Josh in regards to a leak in my Travel Trailer. He came out the next day and got on the roof and sealed areas around my skylight. That night it rained and the leak was still there. It was the weekend but Josh came right back on Monday and did further investigation and found the leak and fixed. And it was no extra charge. Said if it leaked again to let him know. He wanted to make sure it was fixed. Ty Josh for being honest and fair. Definitely will recommend and use in the future.

I had a slideout issue on a 2 year old 5th wheel. Talked with the manufacturer and they recommend Josh to look at it. Making an appointment was quick and easy and he determined one side of the slide mechanism was bad. It was out of warranty but the manufacturer sent the parts and I paid Josh to install them which I felt was a fair compromise being out of warranty. Josh arrived on time and got the slide working again in the time he promised. I have 40+ years in the automotive repair business and can say Josh is very professional and does great work. I do most work myself but if I need something handled that I don't feel comfortable with Josh will definitely get my call. Thanks again Josh!

Josh is the very best rv repair man I have worked with in my 20+ years of RVing. Not only did he replace our roof, new awning, fix the frig, and replace the grey tank cable, he checked and fixed other people’s work for me (which was not done properly) Josh is definitely the only person I trust to work on our rig! (Just to let you know a lot of these problems came from people doing work on my rig while it was under warranty and making a mess out of it. They are no longer in business) I highly suggest Josh and his partner! They are amazing!

We had Josh install a new roof on our fifth wheel rv while we were in FL. becausit was bad. Josh got it covered under warrenty . He is very conciouse of his work and hard worker. I highly recomend his services.

I used Josh 2 years following the my first rv purchase for full rv maintenance. After the second service (untimely, but still) I camped, and there was a hard rain with massive leaking in the rv. i knew it was bad and wanted Josh’s expertise on the leak and if I could have done anything to avoid it as I planned to trade the rv and don’t want a foreseen issue with the new rv. I work in insurance with rv claims. Even though I told Josh repeatedly that I wasn’t accusing him of not servicing my rv properly, Josh only responded belligerently many times the loss would never be covered as he the window was leaking. No damage or bubbles near or below the window. As it turned out the water damage was covered and paid by Geico..over $4500 and was due to a faulty screw from the awning which was nowhere near the window where Josh said I had a leak. I would expect better service and guidance from an rv service person trained in the field of maintaining rvs. And he just could have been nice. Everyone in this world is not looking to sue somebody. I had to share because it is when problems arise that we rely on the experts that help us navigate this world. Be the reason someone smiles today! God bless.

Josh identified the problem and fixed it within minutes. He was on another job and stopped on his way back. He gave me advice on other issues, and recommended other sources that specialized in areas that I needed assistance. I will definitely hire him again.

We have been using Shaffer’s for about 4 yrs. and every time is awesome. Josh really loves what he does and it shows. He is honest, dependable and a really nice person. The first time we called Shaffer’s (Josh) was for a major repair on our gray tank - hasn’t been a problem since. We had a small hole in our roof a few years later - not only did he replace the roof, but he helped us with the insurance claim! Every year we have Josh repack the bearings and look over the whole camper. Mostly no problem, but I’d rather have a problem while it is in storage than on the road.

Josh is honest, competent, respectful and his services are reasonably priced. I called them for a leak from my hot water heater and he came out within 2 days…trying (and succeeding) to get me taken care of as soon as possible. He provided a follow up written estimate to complete the work as he needed parts to complete the repair. He also checked the seals on the roof before I could ask him. I would absolutely recommend Josh and Shaffer’s mobile RV service.

I can't say enough how much my husband and I appreciate this company. About 10 days ago our RV ac went out. We had another company come look at it and determine it needed to be replaced. Three days went by and I didn't hear back from the other company. I contacted Shaffer's and they came out the same day to verify the ac needed to be replaced and got right on the warranty claim the next day. A little over a week we now have a new ac. I'm so glad I called this company cause we'd still be without AC in mid August.
