Never again! I wasted two hours driving through traffic today due to unacceptable and avoidable mistakes. This morning, I called to get the pricing for a pair of Michelin tires. I was provided a competitive price and additional services I requested. I was assured that the tires were in stock and ready for installation. Based on this, I canceled my previous appointment and scheduled one here, trusting the information I was given. After rushing to leave work, I picked up my car from the dealership and battled heavy traffic on the 805 and surrounding areas to get to San Diego Tires. Upon arrival, I informed the staff that I was ready for the installation and alignment. I also asked to see the tires to confirm they matched my rear ones. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told they didn’t have the tires in stock and would need to reschedule my appointment. I was furious. This entire situation could have been avoided if the staff had verified their inventory earlier that morning instead of blaming a "software issue." This experience was completely unacceptable, and I’ll be sharing it with my colleagues at the bank to ensure they avoid this establishment in the future.

I would like to start out by saying that I typically have have ok to good experience with this company. I have had issues along the way that were less than favorable except Subi, my contact always made things right as they came up. So I ask for him every time I come in because it always doesn’t go perfect, but at least he goes out of his was to make it right, which I respect and appreciate. Recently I brought in my Maserati GT because it had a suspension issue. There was a rattling coming form the front left of my car over sharp dips. I immediately called Subi and explained to him the issue and he told me to come in as soon as possible. He told me to show up anytime before 3pm and they would get me in. I told him I would be in before noon. I show up at 11:30am. There were only two people in front of me but somehow I find myself sitting in the waiting room till 2:30pm with no answers. I even saw my car go into the shop it be looked at but then taken off the rack before lifting it up to inspect it... A technician finally drove my car to diagnose. He came back with nothing. This is where things go weird. Omar, the general manager told me he wanted to personally help in order to make sure I got taken care of.. He literally made it a point to tell me this specifically. He also told me to see if they could beat the price of me selling my own parts to fix it. Which he couldn’t and I wanted to order sooner rather than later because parts were coming from overseas. He even gave me his cell phone to call him directly. Bottom line I was there 4 hours and was now diving away with 0 progress. I call back Saturday morning 9am and tell Omar it’s my day off and I can bring it back in to be rediagnosed. He tells me not to and he just needs to talk to the technician and he will get back to me by lunch. I call at 1:30pm, he tells me he is swamped and hasn’t had the talk with the technician and promises to get back to me by end of day. I text him right before closing and he does not answer back. I text him Monday morning (now 4th day with this issue) and ask for an update. He ghosts me. I reach back out in the afternoon and nothing back. He kept giving me nothing but excuses and never took any kind of responsibility for not keeping his word about communicating with progress. I finally call him out at 6:30pm, end of day 4 about how I think it sucked how he handled the situation, and continuously over promised and greatly under delivered. He gave me the story of how he doesn’t want to charge me for not getting the problem fixed and then throws a $450 in labor estimate if I bring the parts to fix it? Which one is it Omar? Bottom line, He NEVER gave a solution or a next step and this dude is the District Manager?!… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ All I can tell you is that I have had better luck with regular reps than with this guy… insult to injury, Omar told me Monday night that he left town on Saturday even though he told me he was handling my situation and going to literally sit down with the technician who diagnosed my car and get me answers. Well… he didn’t. And he had no inclination to try and make it right. No discounts. No nothing. Just 4 days wasted prolonging my issue and delaying a solution. Felt like in the end, Omar had a million excuses except integrity ain’t one..👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

This was my a go to shop but not anymore. About 2.5 month ago after installing a brand new tires (which costed me $1700+) on my Tesla model y performance I’ve came to this shop to do an alignment. I’ve paid extra for the “exotic vehicle” alignment, which is whatever but this is how my tires look after 2.5 month of driving. All 4 tires are done, they didn’t even lasted 8k miles. This was not the first time I’ve had not the best experience with the alignment at this shop but I’ve decided to give them a second chance, which ended up being a very expensive one for me. So if you need proper alignment this is definitely NOT the place to go.

My wife stopped by with a nail in her tire, they claimed to have fixed it after 45 minutes, but when she got home we noticed the nail was still there and the tire was still losing air. Very disappointed, I should of gone to discount tires next door.

So when we got back to the desert we noticed, our tire pressure was a little low.We took an opportunity to go to the the tire outlet store and get them checked out.Everything checked out pretty clear.They didn't diagnostic on our tires and we were on our way.

This place will give you a different deal online and when you show up they will not honor it. When I showed up they increased what we agreed to online by $400. They also tried to keep my old wheels and tires, as well as my almost-new spacers. When I asked for them back they started acting super shady and gave me attitude. Will never go back.

I give it five stars because there are guys working here who actually work on wheels on cars. I lost the secret key to the nuts on my wheels. I visited several services and everywhere they advised me to go to official dealers. These guys unscrewed them in 5 minutes. Respect!

I came here in June to get an alignment which was done by Tony because my car was driving poorly. Everyone was very nice and they were able to take me as a walk in pretty quickly. After they "aligned" my car they said that the alignment was actually not that bad but it was my tires that were causing the issue. I did not have time to get tires that day so I drove my car home and parked it for a week and took it to another local shop closer to my house. I let them know I had an alignment a week prior and that they said it was not very bad but my tires were an issue so I wanted to get new tires, he said he would check it out and let me know. After he put my tires on he said that he would perform a free alignment because my alignment was really bad. He showed me a print out of what he found from his system and it was drastically different than what SD tire and wheel had given me . He said it was really bad and the diagnostic print out showed a lot of areas of concern. Since he gave this service for me for free it was not an area of upsell so there would be no reason to be dishonest. When I called sdtire and wheel they let me know that he measured it different and maybe tricked the machine by hitting the sensors? I think they did not want to own up to the fact that maybe they didn't do a good job. I would not recommend them due to the fact that the two alignments were soo different and their unwillingness to own up to their possible error.

Thank you SO SO much for fixing my flat tire. I recently found a nail in my tire and it started to get flat. I went over to Walmart, waited nearly 3 hours, but they said they couldn’t patch it up because I had 3 other licorice patches already, and it’s in their policy that they cannot patch any tires with more than 3 patches. I don’t know what it is with my luck(?) or if someone is literally puncturing my tires but this is the 4th time this same tire has gotten flat already. I called Discount Tires and they also said they couldn’t take it in. I called around and FINALLY found someone who was willing to help, which was SD Tire & Wheel Outlet. I spoke with Arturo and he told me they can’t guarantee service, but I could bring it in so they could take a look. After I came to the shop, they took in my car within 5-10 minutes, patched up my tire in less than 20ish minutes, and told me they were able to safely patch it up without any issues. I asked them how much I needed to pay, and he said “no cost, it’s free.” I was genuinely SOOO happy because I was stressing. I do not have the money for a new tire (I’m a student) and this tire is barely 2 years old, so thank you so much for the crew at SD Tire & Wheel Outlet for helping me out!!!!

Found their ad on FB marketplace. Competitively priced set of tires that they had on stock. I arrived at their Miramar location and was told that the tire installation, balancing and car alignment will take approximately an hour and a half. They were done in 45 minutes and it was done professionally. I watched them the entire time. I'm a mechanic myself and a former employee of Sears auto center and can vouch on the proficiency of the technicians here. Highly recommended!

Recently bought a car and found out from my mechanic that the tread was below legal limit. I told my dealer to have it fixed and he told me to take it to this circus act. My dealer was arguing with me saying he will only pay for 2 wheels instead of 3. I wanted to prove to him that my tires are low tread. So I went ahead and asked the workers at this place to measure my tread. All of a sudden they don’t have a tread measurer anywhere. I think the workers here were being deceitful and were trying to not have to their buddy (my dealer) have to pay for the tires that he owed me. These geniuses didn’t have a depth measuring device to measure the tread on my wheels!!! This is at a tire shop mind you. This might be the only tire shop in America that doesn’t have it. I assume they have Horrible service also. Don’t take your car here.

This store manager Suvi is a liar and wasted my time in tire change. I called yesterday to see their tire prices are much higher. And he told me the store will price match with local store price. Today I took time to go to store and asks about price match. The store manager refused and lied to me that other local store just did rebate to their prices. Even though I showed him other store doesn't lower price because of rebates before i talked to him. This manager then lied to me again in saying he misunderstood other store price. What's worse, the manager Suvi Or sounds like that name, still refused to do price match, but only asks me to wait for several months to get rebate to lower their tire prices. This store is a liar and shady with shrewd and greedy and also very rude store manager. Stay away from this store to save your money and time.

Big shoutout to the team at this SD T&W outlet!!! This place literally saved our trip. In town for a short stop near UCSD and was planning to leave town within 2 hours. One of the wheels registered a low air pressure warning at 4:45 pm on Friday and scrambled to fine a repair shop near by (which doesn’t close at 5 pm on Friday). We called before heading over and they okayed to arrive in 15-min. They found a nail and took it out immediately and plugged it then put the air. We’re off to go. They didn’t spent much time on this repair work, so didn’t charge us!!! They simply saved our trip. Thank you SD Tires & Wheels Outlet. We will definitely recommend all our SD friends & locals.
