This auto repair shop is great. I know that they are going to be honest with me. They do good work and it is guaranteed too! The employees are friendly and professional and will even call & pay for Uber Service if you need to leave your car there for service and need a ride home. Great place to service your car!

An absolute joke. Spent over an hour. Waiting for a quote only for the inspection to be quoted at half the value of my car for something unrelated to my transmission or engine. It's absolutely insane they can find it reasonable to charge this much for something like replacing motor mounts and ONE rotor. I assure you any issue you'll bring in you'll be astounded at the price they give you. I recommend service elsewhere. If I could give zero Stars I would.

So I took my diesel here a few months ago, and what they diagnose was telling me that the fuel injectors were no good and that one of my glow plugs was also no good. They charged me $1500 saying that it was a dirty intake. I got the truck back pretty fine on the way home when I got close to home and it did not run at all anymore. So I called them back and told them what it was and they told me that it was the fuel injectors that their mechanic guaranteed that that was the issue so since my brother is a A gas fuel mechanic so I was pretty sure that we would be able to do it ourselves which we accomplished the mission which cost over $3000 for OEM fuel injectors. When I got the injectors and everything put back together, the truck turned on and did the same exact thing running through so much other mechanics that suck balls as well. I turned to YouTube when I found out that if you don’t have any engine oil in a diesel engine, it won’t run because the diesel and the engine oil mixed together so once I put oil in my truck everything turned right back on and work perfectly. Don’t trust these people. They will just take your money.

I absolutely would recommend these great guys!!! They took care of things perfectly and were more than fair in their pricing. They kept in communication and ordered an Uber when I didn't have a ride home. They got my diesel truck working tip top. THANK YOU ALL.

Highly Recommend! Great service and great work to ensure the job is done right. Had to come back after the engine light returned and Schorie took back right away and did extended testing and adjustment to make sure it was resolved without any further charge (as expected). When additional services are needed to resolve issues they stick with original quote and don't try to nickel and dime you like other shops can. This plus perks like free loaner car and car wash after service that you don't see very often anymore make this a great local and family shop.

I don’t trust my car with anyone else. I know they do the job right and if there are any issues, they will fix it. As always, they did a great job. Not only that, but they cater to the personal issues that I have. Everyone who works at Schorie’s is always professional and yet very friendly. I’m so glad I found them.

I have almost never taken the time to write a review for a company, good or bad. However I felt that I needed to communicate my experience for others to decide if they want to spend money here. I attended ASU for 4 years and used Schorie as my auto repair shop on the recommendation from a family member. Over those 4 years I had 3 major things done to my Ford Edge. Schorie replaced my brake booster, replaced my power steering pump and hose assembly, and installed a trailer hitch + the wiring harness. Unfortunately, not a single one of these went smoothly. First; August of 2021 my brakes started failing. They let me know the brake booster was shot and offered to replace it for $1200. I accepted, and about a week later got the car back working fine. However within a few days, they started to fail again. I had to bring it back in to find out they had installed the hose assembly clamps incorrectly which was causing the brakes to lose pressure. Second; January of 2023 my power steering began to fail. Again they offered to replace it, for around $1,600. Again after they replaced it, it only took about a week before my steering began to fail again and I had to bring it back in for them to re-attach all of the hose lines. Now (December 2024) my power steering pump has failed again. I checked my receipt and saw that there was a 3 year, 3600 mile warranty. Since I am now living in a different state, I found a different company to replace the pump for $1400, but the warranty only covered $800; therefore I am out another $600 on top of the $1600, plus the diagnosis cost from a Ford Dealership for around $200, $70 in uber costs due to the fear of driving in snow with no power steering, and countless bottles of power steering fluid to keep me going for a few hours at a time before it dumps straight through the system. Lastly, after I graduated and right before I moved for my new post college job (July 2024), I decided to try my luck one last time and asked them to install a trailer hitch and wiring harness onto the Ford Edge to allow me to tow a U-Haul to my new residence. It cost me a little over $1000 for the parts and labor. The day before I was supposed to move, I went to pick up the U-haul, but they wouldn't let me leave with the trailer because the turn signal and brake lights would not work. I rushed back to Shorie, and after getting through to talk to the mechanic, he admitted that when installing the wiring harness there was a 4th wire that he "had never seen before for a trailer hitch wiring harness" so he had just left it unconnected and not notified anyone. After a few hours of arguing with the owner, they found a part they had forgot to buy, figured out where the 4th wire was supposed to connect, and sent me on my way. However, the time this took caused me to have to move out of my apartment late in the evening the next day and drive the 10 hours to my new residence through the night instead of during the daylight as planned. With all of this being said, I have to acknowledge the front desk ladies (specifically Karen and Jessica) helpfulness and professionalism. Each time all of this happened, they were very kind and understanding both over the phone and in person when I would return frustrated with a broken car only a few days after spending thousands of dollars on repairs.

I posted a glowing review for SHORIE AUTO REPAIR in the past and now must take that 5 star review back. A previous repair was great with wonderful communication, a photo printout of the inspection, etc.. and fair prices. Yesterday I had a repair done for a crack in the CV Boot. They told me that they could NOT replace the boot and it would need an entire axle assembly that would include the boot. $1300 repair. (Their previous estimate doubled in price). Today I called a KIA dealer to get prices and they told me that they DO have a CV boot kit and it would NOT have taken an entire axle replacement. That would have saved me $800. For the dealer to do the repair WITH an axle replacement it would have been $100 less than SHORIE and that is with the higher DEALER prices. There was NO communication during the day as I had requested and while they told me that it would be ready around 1 or 2 PM, when I called at 3 pm, they said that they needed an extra hour. When I got there at 4:15, they told me the car was ready hours earlier. I will NOT be returning to them for any future repairs and maintenance.

In my opinion, Schorie Auto Repair is the best mechanic in Mesa! Their shop is large enough to work on multiple cars at once and they even have loaner cars so you don't have to sit while you're car is being repaired. What I think is even better is that the owners Jim and Amber are outstanding people and put their customers first.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! If they promise you your vehicle will be done at a certain time don’t count on it. This shop is a joke! I took my truck in 2 different times for a routine brake job. I dropped it off the night before and they promised me both times it would be read to pick up in the morning. Both times I ended up having to call them after noon and both times they had not even looked at the truck yet! If you promise a customer a time the least you could do is give them a courtesy call to let them know you are running behind… when I called in on both occasions they acted as if they didn’t even know who I was and I had to remind them that I dropped the truck off the day before. Crazy , the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt but this is obviously an issue with the scheduling staff. I would love to say they did Good job on the repairs however, the first time they changed my brakes my alignment was so out of whack it pulled us into the left lane if you remove your hand from the wheel. I reported this to them and they offered to send a tow truck to get it back so they could fix it, She said it would be there at 10 o’clock the following morning. At 11 o’clock, I called them and they had no idea what I was talking about?? So I drove it in myself and they told me they would fix the alignment during the second brake replacement. Did they fix the alignment, haha of course not. I honestly have never had such horrible service in all my years. If they can’t even handle a routine brake replacement I could only imagine having to deal w these guys on a bigger issue….. STAY AWAY THIS PLACE HAS MAJOR ISSUES!! If I could give ZERO STARS I would.

As fellow members of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, I was excited to take my car to the shop when I needed a couple of repairs and learned so much while I was there including the fact that they do tires and oil changes, too! These guys know their stuff and are never trying to upsell you - love working with them and will definitely be back!

We are from Michigan. We were driving to surprise my parents. Through the mountains it was very clear our brakes needed to be checked. I googled nearest brake repair in Mesa and there was Schorie ! I am a repeat customer. My most recent issue was a coolant leak on my 2013 Chevy Cruze. The customer service was top notch. They kept me updated on the progress and status of my car after I dropped it off. They provided a video text of their findings of what the issues were with my car. They also provided me transportation to get home from their shop. That is going above and beyond and puts them head and shoulders above other auto repair shops for me. Repairs were made and no issues have occurred since the repairs. I highly recommend Schorie Auto for auto repair needs.
