We took our Volkswagen here upon reading all the five star reviews. It was running ROUGH. We had to warm it up for thirty minutes before we could drive it with any acceleration. We took it there, gave them $1100.00, was told that all is well. It will now run smooth. Our car is in the EXACT same condition it was in when we dropped it off. There is zero indication that anything was fixed. $1100.00 donation? I am so happy to hear these rave reviews. I do not have one to leave.

I really need to remember to do this more often. But between My vehicle and the rest of my family, They keep everything running! Todd & crew are honest and fair and on time. Taking a vehicle in to be worked on anywhere can be scary. But not here. Thanks for taking good care of all of our vehicle & service needs.

I don't take my vehicles to anyone else. Very honest and gives suggestions instead of trying to sell you. There are a lot of mechanics, but you only go to a bad one once. This is one you will return to when you need it.

Best mechanic in town hands down. Todd is knowledgeable, upfront and reasonably priced. I have used this shop for over 10 years after trying several across Lincoln. All makes models and years, he and his team will get it figured out. The place has always been busy with customers which is a sign to me that I'm not the only one who likes his services.

Man what can I say about Schlegel. If you are going through Lincoln, Neb and having Sprinter Van problems please stop at this shop. Diesel friendly shop that got me back up and running within 24 hours after contacting them. Todd told me he was very busy and I understand why but he fit me in because he understood that I was traveling through Lincoln and was having DEF issues. Customer service is a lost ART but Todd and Crew gives you hope. The price of his service was priceless. I am locking their number into my phone. Thanks Guys!

My 2001 Chevy 3500 box truck turned tiny house broke down just outside of Lincoln. The diagnosis? Burst heater hose, overheated engine, with exhaust valves on pistons 4 and 5 frozen. Either full rebuild and replacement was the only way forward. After calling around to a dozen different mechanics in Omaha and Lincoln, and getting quotes from a handful of others, Schlegel came out on top -- especially for a big job like this. After ~7 weeks, I drove off with a new engine (and transmission), both with a multi-year, unlimited mile warranty. Picking the right mechanic is challenging and the wrong decision can cost you thousands. Todd, Heather, and crew really do care and do high quality work. Call them!

Best shop in town! If you want treated fair, and your vehicle fixed right the first time without being told you need parts for problems that don't actually exist, give them a call. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else!

Can’t say enough about Schlegels. We’ve had 2 different cars need service multiple times in the last couple months, and each time we’ve gotten great service. Staff is kind & super easy to work with. Each time we had an answer to what was wrong with the cars the same day. And each time repairs were completed in a timely manner at half the cost of other mechanics. They even went above and beyond to repair a broken clamp that was causing a rattle & didn’t charge for it. So grateful for this small business that’s helped make overwhelming car issues so much less stressful!

Todd has been my Mechanic since he was a hired Mechanic working for Jerry Maul at this address. Todd took over the operation when Jerry got out of Auto repair for awhile. He has done a great job repairing my vehicles. He has fair prices and only charges for the time he works on your vehicle. They're close t o where we live and I have lived close for years. They always do their best if I need to get my vehicle back quickly ! 5 Stars on everything as far as I'm concerned!

Trucks been there multiple times for the same problem something killing the battery’s they made me get a new edge unit than they said it’s the battery’s now they tore my radio out and left it out and said that’s the problem and owner got mad because I said I can’t l giving you money for a problem that’s not getting fixed so I paid him he said don’t come back and a it’s still doing the same thing not a good Business owner.

Worked with Tony to fix an issue with the drive train. After determining the issue was very minor, Tony fixed the issue and then did not charge me. Schlegel Auto absolutely should have charged me for their expertise, but chose not to. This company will receive all of my Auto business and should receive yours too.
