Schetter's New Generation Auto Care

The price is great - very affordable and fast work. Why the 3? I left my car there overnight, and ever since, SOMETHING has been chewing up my car seat. I suspect a mouse or rodent. A terrible coincidence or a dirty shop? I don't know. I sprayed the whole car with peppermint oil. Supposedly that deters mice. I am getting my car detailed next week. Hopefully that resolves the issue. Since I cannot definitively prove it was Shetter's, there's no use in trying to get it fixed by them. But n "affordable" fix is now suddenly a very expensive one. If you do go here, I'd advise strongly to NOT leave your car there overnight.

Luz was the person who I interacted with. Had gone in to see if they could give me a quote for repairs, she put together a quote and we spoke on their hours. I was able to drop my car off the morning on a Saturday and have the repairs completed in a few hours. Luz advised she'd try to find the part cheaper to help lower the quote price, she was unable to, but was clear on what they'd do. They don't work on electrical work, but Luz did explain this when I first inquired. Much appreciation and happy to see the local shop get a remodeled look (I was a previous ownership of Schetter's customer).

A diamond in the rough. Got many personal testimonials that this place was a reliable, affordable neighborhood mechanic. They were right. In out at a good price. Looking forward (no, I'm not) to future visits! (I hate auto repairs, but this place made it easier.)

I've had several mechanics look at my car and either they can't service it because its a BMW, or they put non-BMW parts in it as a workaround. Took my car there for the first time two months ago on the recommendation of the rep at Auto Zone. My car is 21 years old and Schetter's has it running like I just drove it brand new off the lot. I will never go to another mechanic. In fact, I just bought a second BMW (2002 330xi) and had it towed directly to Schetter's to get everything fixed. Just wish they did tires! Seriously, this is the best mechanic in town, especially if you drive a BMW.

Eventhough Ken has more work than he can handle he always takes great care of his customers and is the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with so you will never go wrong having them work on your vehicle. I just recommend making a appointment.

Love the guys at Schetters! Ken always hooks me up with the best deals. Been going there for years. My Aunt & Uncle told me about the place because they always took their cars there! He also sells cars, which they purchased many times!

I brought my 2017 Subaru Outback in to have the 60k recommended service completed. They changed my spark plugs and at my request the ignition coils and serpentine belt. While it was being serviced, they notice my front brakes were quite worn and making a noise. I had my front brakes and rotors replaced. They didn't try to up sell me and tell me to replace the rear brakes, just told me what my vehicle actually needed. Everyone at the shop was kind. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and I'm lucky to have them in my neighborhood.

I had my brakes replaced not even 2 years ago at Schetter's and found out this week at Wilde Subaru that they already need to be replaced. I work from home and rarely drive long distances so not even getting two years out of them is unacceptable. I love supporting small businesses but will not be back.

Bruce is very arrogant and strings you along after saying they can fix your car’s issues. He’s real good at giving you excuses and not calling you back because they’re backed up or they’re down a guy. And when you do get through for an update on repairs, he gets mad that you’re bothering him. Just called 3 times in 2 weeks. Had my car just sitting in the lot for about 3 weeks combined after bringing it in two or three times. I would’ve appreciated him being honest with me that he couldn’t or wouldn’t work on the problems. They never fixed what was wrong and worked on what wasn’t the problem. Waste of time and money unfortunately. 3 strikes, you’re out.

He’s like the uncle mechanic you never had! Schetters’s is the mechanic to go to when you want your car fixed right at a reasonable price. Over 7 years and 4 different cars and Ken has never steered me wrong.

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for this place! They have always taken great care of my vehicle and I’ve always felt comfortable bringing my car to them, knowing it’s in good hands. I value this place and the employees so much and am forever thankful for them taking care of all my car issues! They’ve squeezed me into their schedule and have been extremely accommodating. If you need a place for your car- this is the place to go!

I haven't and won't take my car anywhere else. They always do a bang up job. Prices are best in town and the workers are all very personable. Bruce is one of the workers and always really easy to talk to. He's the only one who has touched my car.

Ken and his crew are THE BEST! My Kia was stolen (huh, whoda thunk?) and since Schetter's was so close to me, I took it there for repairs. So glad I did! These guys do great work at great prices. They were so compassionate, kind and 100% honest. Ken and the crew are gonna be my guys from here on out!

The Schetter's crew have been incredible these last few days, for both my car and my friend's. When I limped in early Monday morning with broken brakes, I was prepared to be off the road for at least 24 hours. I think Ken might've told me as much initially, but to my surprise I got a call some hours later that everything was ready to go! I picked up my car same day, good as new. Thank you Schetter's Auto for exceeding expectations at an affordable price.

We take both our family vehicles here and the service is always top notch. I feel that I can truly trust the mechanics. We have taken our vehicles to other local establishments and many times feel over charged as well as pressured to have unnecessary services. Schetters is fabulous.
