I'd give 10 Stars if It were Allowed. Friendly and Professional Service. Honest. They will tell you what needs to be done and what DOESN'T and will point out anything in a thorough inspection. You'll receive a Text link with a Report concerning your vehicle. I thought it would be Suspension problems and it turned out to be really bad tires. My Car runs great now. Perfect. And You can wait upstairs comfortably while you car is being attended to. Trustworthy Spot. Oh and Great Pricing!

I have been a customer of Schafer’s since 2008 and can always count on Michael and the crew for efficient, thorough service. They accommodate any last minute requests I have while the car is in the shop (for inspection, for instance) and have kept my cars running well without any major issues! My VW Beetle was still running well when I sold it at 10 years old and my Mazda is entering its 13th year! Pretty good testaments to excellent service!

My journey began with a check engine light. I initially went to Monroe for repairs, but they referred me to Mr. Tire as they couldn't resolve the issue. On November 1st, Mr. Tire diagnosed my car with a faulty motor. I contacted B&B Auto, where I purchased my car, and they confirmed that my engine was covered under warranty. They referred me to Schafer's Auto because they were fully booked. I took my car to Schafer's Auto, provided the warranty information, and expected a new motor. Chris from Schafer's believed he could troubleshoot the faulty motor. He performed some repairs and replaced parts, resulting in a $4,300 bill. On December 6th, he informed me that the motor was indeed faulty. Throughout this process, I was demeaned and berated by the general manager, Jennifer, and was denied the opportunity to speak with the reputable owner I was referred to. They refused to reimburse me for the $4,300 bill. Additionally, they claimed to have performed a compression test, which was not listed on any invoice or work order provided to me. They are now asking me to return so they can continue working on the car, but with no real resolution other than stating that I need a new motor. It took them a month, a misdiagnosis, and a $4,300 bill to reach this conclusion. Based on my experience, I would advise against choosing Schafer's Auto on Columbus Boulevard.

The main reason I came back to have my car inspected at your location is because of the high standard of work and your personnel. From the receptionist to the management and most importantly, the technician that performed my inspection, hands-down, this is the best place that I’ve been to in the tri-state area, ever! Went there for a complementary oil change and service was fast and easy! My son and I waited in their waiting room (they have toys up there that he could play with). When my car was done they even pulled it up in the garage since it was cold outside which I really appreciated! I can honestly say that Schafer’s has become my auto-home. I’ll go to them for everything my car needs!
