Opened in 2003, San Joaquin Tires and Wheels provides a wide selection of new and used tires, aftermarket wheels, and automotive services for customers in Kern County, California and surrounding areas. One of our specializations is automotive customization. In addition to custom wheels, we install lift, leveling, and lowering kits. Our family believes in word of mouth advertising. A great place that came highly recommended from a very good friend. 4 new tires easy peasy and the front end work that was being done was very difficult for sure, yet these fine people didn't give up or give in & thru THEIR resolve that came INTO a group fight to overcome I'm happy to say it's going to be a win win! Updated Review pending 5/24. There was a mutual misunderstanding & it regards my Bill being $1100 more than I had initially planned to spend being $2350 as we previously discussed when I purchased 4 brand new tires 6 months previous. I commend the entire staff for a job well done & I'm 100 percent pleased with my $1100 being refunded in place of the shocks they installed & also then removed. I didn't loose my cool nor did my tone turn vulgar, HOWEVER I was encountering a great deal off stress & I'm thankful for their clear & sound reasoning on SJ Tires part!

Okay so I went there because I got a flat tire right before my left turn near the tire shop I pulled over on the sidewalk and saw that I was flat try to put some air inside of the tire in order to make a u-turn without messing up the rim the air held enough for me to make it to the shop and got a $60 tire he said it was worth it it had a slash in the tire after install not before and then he overtightened my lug nut I had to go back and change that lug nut and he said it was due to being used too much I've had this car for 2 years and been to several mechanics and that's never happen before I find out my tire valve is broken it was working just fine when he put the new tire on then he started tinkering with it and it was trying to make more money off of me by destroying my tire valve and my lug nut add up the price for those two and see how much money he would have made off of me that day these guys are true disgusting garbage they shouldn't be working on cars they're not honest honest review don't go there just a waste of time and money.

I had a flat tire and I thought my valve was broken, they where so thorough.. they checked all my tires and I learned that I had an additionaly faulty valve. They are very profesional, fast and polite! I am so grateful we went to the right hands. Im going back soon to get my tires replaced there! 100% recommend these guys.

The only place to get wheel and mechanical work done. Honest and priced, right. I've been using them for close to 10 years. They always appreciate my business, and I send all my friends and relatives to them. Just took my wife's car in to have the check engine light diagnosed. It was an emissions code. Steve gave me the code # and instructed me to contact the dealer, since it may be under warranty. How much more honest can you get? Thank you for your honesty and great service!

Went to aks to do a lineup for my truck and one of the work told that if you would of buy the tires from me you I would of done it for free and said to sorry but were going to close and it's was 2 pm

I've been traveling back and forth from oak hills to Bakersfield the last month and a half, putting wear and tear on my truck. They've been able to take my truck in the 2 times I've called them and have gotten to work on it right away, they called me and kept me updated as they saw things that needed fixing, I appreciate their service, I will forever use them when ever I'm in Bakersfield. Note: I've called other shops around, say they would call me back an never did.

Great service and was super quick, prices are alright, not overly expensive. Paid 1300 dollars for a full set of rims and brand new ironman tires. Overall a good experience
