it was my first time coming here, but the previous two owners of my scion had been coming to have the car service there. Eugenio Ching was my service advisor and he explained everything clearly and the communication was great! everyone that works there was friendly and professional. they have a lounge with plenty of seating, phone charging area and restrooms. they will even get you an Uber ride home.

I’ve been coming to this location since the beginning of the pandemic, and they have always done a great job with my Prius and now my Highlander. Always quick and easy to drop off car, and everyone is always super helpful. Dora has been my go to person! She is very knowledgeable about the services my vehicles need, and she makes the whole experience a joy! Thank you Dora, all of the service technicians, and the staff for your help with my vehicles over the last half decade! The waiting room is really big with comfy chairs and plenty of nearby plugs, and the new coffee machine is really nice too!

I don’t know what to start, All I can say is Robert S receive an A for customer service, his professionalism, and answers my questions. Thats about it, they marred up my GR metal oil cap and has dirty hand prints all over the front end when I had my first and second service done, I’m angered and disappointed but whatever, didn’t write a review then. This time after a warranty repair, my washer and coolant overfill cap are damaged, my roof are scratched by the looks of leaving a clipboard or tools on top. My engine bay is also full of oil droplets spills and evaporated coolant/waters marks on the engine surface making it look’s like it has aged 10 years. I know these are minor issues but come on! Wheres the care! Took me hours to cleaned it all up. Giving 3 stars is me being generous and it’s a shame that this service center is so close to where I live but leaves me angered and disappointed.

In my experience owning my first toyota, I’ve only seen this service center and the team has been so so detailed. When I’ve brought up my worries, they either fix it or work with toyota corp to flag it for more information. Shoutout to Karsten as his team helps talk me through and document my coverages—feels like I’m able to understand all my options and my car.

12 month service completed on time.

Convenient and efficient but terminally expensive. Whatever you’re expecting to pay in terms of labor, the cost at this location is likely to be double. The service you get for that price is top notch. Just be sure your bank account can withstand the hit.

The service advisor, Karsen was very helpful and timely with my vehicle service! They have great rentals, too.

This was my first time using Toyota as this is my first Toyota vehicle. The service center was fast, efficient and the staff were extremely friendly even at 8am! I had an easy first service, but it was done in less than an hour which is amazing! There’s free coffee inside, clean restrooms and plenty of space to work with many individual tables.

I was quoted 500$ in labor for replacing my (4) spark plugs and a single ignition coil (~750$ total including parts). The parts estimate felt fair but I was confused where the 500+ amount for labor was coming from because I’ve replaced my own spark plugs in the past and doing so requires you to pull out the coils anyway and I’ve never had it take longer than 2 hours. When I initially asked my service agent for the shop rate he couldn’t give me the answer I was looking for, stating that labor costs depended on the job (fair enough) and that they didn’t have an hourly rate (this only felt weird because I’ve never had a mechanic not give me a shop rate when I asked, but that doesn’t mean he was wrong). Eventually, because I was still confused, I spoke to a service manager, Tommy, who made me ask twice before telling me that the shop rate was ~260$/hr, and only after I asked him if that was the rate (after calculating/estimating it myself) after he confirmed the work on my car would only take about 2 hours plus the final inspection. The whole thing made me feel very stupid and don’t think I’ll be returning to this dealership because, even if this was the fair rate/price to be paying (which I’m choosing to believe because SF is expensive and hopefully part of that cost is capturing the cost of Toyota taking care of their employees), I felt the customer service was so obstructive when I was just trying to understand exactly what I was paying for after having to call out of work to wait for my repairs. The only highlight was my service agent—Anthony—who was incredibly patient and helpful while I asked him all of my questions during the 24 hours they had my vehicle, and he did end up taking 50$ off my invoice for my trouble, which I thought was kind. After the fact (and I wish I’d gone with this option) the jiffylube on Van Ness quoted me almost 200$ less for the exact same service and provided their hourly shop rate and expected service time upfront without me even asking.

I had a very difficult and stubborn repair on our Prius, the Check Engine Light would come on every few weeks for the same darn code even though we’ve diagnosed and replaced multiple items on the vehicle. Stubborn enough, I gave in and reached out to SF Toyota to have them do an in house diagnosis. Making an appointment was super easy. Here comes the exciting part, I got Chris Stone as my Service Advisor. Chris is something different, he listens, he cares, he keeps me updated and goes above and beyond. After running the diagnosis with Toyota's TechStream, they have diagnosed and pinpointed the problem to the Coolant Heat Storage Tank not holding heat. My Prius has low miles but it's an older version, it took me a while to sink in that the Coolant Heat Storage Tank needed replacement. I proceeded to have it replaced and then brought it back to have them Bleed the Hybrid Coolant System afterwards. Behold, it's been 2 months, Check Engine Light has not been on. I just wanted to Thank Chris for being so consistent and going above and beyond for me! Chris Stone is the real deal when it comes to communication. I highly recommend Chris Stone and will book him as my service advisor next time a problem arises (Hopefully not too soon though haha). Thank You Chris Stone!

I have been bringing my car to David Chu at this Toyota Certified Service Center since 2013! I rely on and trust Mr. Chu's judgement and advise on required vehicle maintenance and repair. He is always welcoming, professional and super knowledgeable. I feel secure driving away knowing Mr. Chu is directing my car's servicing. And, Mr. Chu is so patient, kind and thoughtful in the process from start to finish.

I wanted to thank Eugene Ching for his outstanding service and kindness. He explains everything and is very professional. I am happy enough with the service. Also, I wanted to thank Dora for the outstanding service she provided for my Prius Prime. She is very kind and helpful. I love being a customer of this San Francisco Toyota service and so easy to book a service with their app. I recommended it to my friends and family. I had a bad experience with One Toyota of Oakland and never go back there. Thank you San Francisco Toyota team and wonderful service assistant managers.

The part service person who very rude and unfriendly to Chinese people .

The staff were great and answered all of my questions. Be prepared to wait a while for a standard oil change. They are extremely busy, so it can take a few hours.

The white guy in front desk for parts should put the sign closed if it is closed.I arrived here 4:33 on Saturday May 11 to buy some engine oils and some parts and he said it is closed and this and that.Either he is not happy to see a customer come in or he is in distress mood for something.I am writing this review after coming here for service and maintenance from 2018.And It’s been great I know few people there from service advisor Eugene(Great guy)and David(Cool Guy).

Karsten is the man! Always polite and professional. I’m blown away by the customer service at this place. The best spot to get your Toyota serviced.

Charged me $300 to replace a gas cap that was throwing a check engine light. Every time I've gotten a quote there, I find another shop that will do the same quality work for 30% less. Totally overpriced

I had the pleasure of working with Eugene for the past 5 years or so. Eugene gave me his business number which made it easy to communicate whenever I had an issue with my car. He normally is able to take me in the very same day. I don’t know much about cars, but Eugene always made me feel like he had my best interest at heart. He gave me thorough run down of everything and always gave me the best price he could. On top of that, he always went above and beyond’s by providing me Ubers to get to ,and from the service center. And as a bonus they wash your car. Overall, I highly recommend working with Eugene and getting your maintenance done here ! Thanks everyone at Toyota !

I think it was Chris that helped me with my 6:30am or 7am appointment and he was fast and offered immediate help with a mechanic (mid age asian guy who speaks very good english) to make sure my car has the correct issue before undergoing inspections and warranty before heading to work. I got in and out within 10 mins. I always prefer coming to this location than Daly City, which is closer to me because of the service here. 5 Stars to everybody here, including the Asian guy who works inside the building who dealt with my paint warranty. I forgot his name, but he looks like mid-30s, and he's super efficient and fast. I got in and out in 10 mins after visiting my ID and credit card. I will be back!

Excellent customer service I live about one hour and 15 minutes away. I came all the way down here to visit the Toyota service center. That’s because not every Toyota service centers equal for example, Toyota Capital, in San Jose, one it’s really worst Customer Service. (based on my experience in San Francisco Toyota my Service advisor name Adrian . Excellent customer service. Also I love the way they talk to customer. It’s very important to be understand where the customer come from and try to do your best in my case Adrian passed all acceptation.(again thank you so much great team) everybody is very friendly and professional. I will either recommend this place well worth it.

Wonderful!

Pros: - easy to book appointment online - very professional and polite service - they can get Toyota parts quickly - nice waiting area with booth seating and WiFi Cons: highway robbery for the service prices! $275 for a diagnostic check of a check engine light (reader from Amazon costs $25). $800 service fee for a few hours work (it seems like they charge >$200/hr for service, which is almost double what you pay elsewhere). I guess part of it goes to the significant higher overhead (multiple people managing phones and shepherding cars)…
