You know that the work that's suggested in the estimate needs to be done and that the car will be in tip-top shape and purring like new once you pick it up. Our car was ready ahead of time when we did the routine service. Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic customer service. I had a pre-purchase vehicle inspection done. They talked me through the entire inspection and even helped give me resources on how to vet the price of the vehicle. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to the 3-4 quotes I got for this service. Highly recommend.

The owner Pat is very professional, knowledgeable of cars/trucks, and parts. He is very friendly and explains everything you need to know about your vehicle repair. He uses factory parts on your vehicles....I was very satisfied with his work and professionalism.....I recommend this shop to everyone....

Amazing service! I had tons of things wrong with my car and was shocked at how expensive it was going to be. Patrick worked with me to figure out our options that worked for me given my situation. The exact opposite of the stereotype where shops try to take advantage/upcharge. This will be the only place I go to now in San Francisco. Thanks a million!!!!

Brought my Mercedes in for a full inspection. I had the pleasure of working with Patrick. My car is 24 years old and I expected there'd be some work that needed to be done. The techs found several issues to repair which exceeded my budget, but I never felt pressured to fix everything. I had the guys work on the urgent repairs that took a couple of days. When I came by to pick up the car, the results were great and I noticed they even threw in a free wash! A year later I came by to replace a bulb that went out. They took care of it in 10 mins and I was back on the road. Appreciate the work these guys do here, love that they're honest and transparent with you.

Our 1997 Honda’s original clutch finally failed. We were not sure where to take it but luckily we found SFAS through an online search. No wonder the reviews are great! We were so impressed by Patrick and his team. They really wanted to get the car at its best and they achieved that and more. It only took them four days to source the parts and get the car back up and running better than it’s been in years. Communication was great every step of the way. Went in to have a suspicious noise checked out on my Genesis and when I exited the car Pat immediately asked are we here for the squeaking sound I heard when you drove in. To know that a mechanic is honest and not out for making a buck is so appreciating. The car was repaired in a day and back on the road. This is the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Needed a new set of tires, so Patrick did his research and found the absolute best pair for my car. Along with that, his team diagnosed a huge issue I’ve had with the car for multiple years (one that went unnoticed by others, including the dealer when I took it in for a full service just a month ago). Come here - you won’t regret it. My car has never driven smoother!

I almost hate to give SF Auto Solutions a five star review, selfishly because I don't want everybody else to go there (smile). It's kind of like that spectacular hidden beach you find or a beautiful place in the Sierras that you hope not everybody shows up at? That's how good this repair shop is! I really don't want to share it with you, but I am because the shop is a real gem. Patrick and his crew are very professional, and in all seriousness, you could eat off the floor inside this shop. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and their attention to detail - not only with customer service but with their thorough investigation of my car's malfunctions. I will definitely go back when I need them again! Thanks again for everything!

World-class auto shop. But more importantly: HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, STRAIGHTFORWARD, TRANSPARENT MECHANICS!! This place is the spot! Best mechanic I’ve been to anywhere, bar none. Patrick is great, super helpful, friendly, responsive and keeps you updated throughout service and thoroughly goes over everything after. I’ve twice brought my car there for them to correct another mechanics work. Top quality work and they finish quickly. Last time they fixed another mechanics work, they didn’t charge me and they followed up the next day! They followed up on the free service!! You just don't get that kind of customer service anymore. They always go the extra mile. Even washing my car before pickup! I agree with what another reviewer said, “I almost don’t want to give this place 5 stars because I don’t want anyone else to go there.” 10/10

Brought my car in without notice and they did an incredible job of taking care of me. Lifted my car up, saw that it was a muffler issue, and referred me to a muffler specialist free of charge. Fast and honest service from Patrick and his team, I’ll be going back for my regular maintenance!

I called Patrick as a 2nd opinion on a seemingly very expensive inspection for my 2016 Mini Cooper. He walked me through the various services and quoted me at a much more reasonable price. When I took my car in, he again walked me through all the recommended services, even suggesting that many of the services from the inspection were not critical and suggested that I wait. He was exceptionally honest and saved me a ton of money on noncritical services. Always hesitant about finding a place to service my Mini outside of the dealership, but when he said that he had one himself, I knew I found my go to mechanic in the Bay Area.

I drove up from LA, and my check engine light went on 30 miles from the city. Calling around, I was lucky to get Patrick at SF Auto Solutions on the line. He told me to head right over. Clean shop, professional place. Patrick had his tech put the reader on my car and cleared the check engine light, but not before thoroughly explaining the situation to me. Most impressive? He actually texted me the next day to see if I'd made it back to LA. Super thoughtful and also very informative, not to mention professional. Five stars and more!

Patrick is just awesome. Not only is he easy to schedule with and very responsive, but he's one of the few shops that doesn't take advantage of you. If you need a repair, the work is high quality and the price is fair. If you have an easy fix or adjustment, often he'll just do it on the fly. Awesome place! Thank you, Patrick and team!

Patrick is an extremely honest mechanic who fixed my car’s brakes quickly and at a fair price. He also went out of his way to point out that my splash guard was damaged and that it needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts for me and replaced it with zero additional labor charge. Incredible service!
