This dude is a complete rip off. My wife and I were in a last minute pinch to have our brakes chnged and he charged us $1200.00 for brakes, an oil change, and cabin filter. He also tried to charge a friend of mine $5500 to fix his Ford Lightning. He got a second opinion and the fix was less than $500....be forewarned!!

Brought my 1982 vehicle for some work and diagnostics. The shop was very nice on the front side, and as soon as I was given the quote for work to be done, it went south quickly. I questioned why the parts were double what I could order them for and I also inquired why the labor cost was so expensive. For the overall project, they were billing me a total of $2,400, and after 2 minutes of making calls and ordering the parts myself, I will only be paying $1,200. My concerns were ignored and rudely spoken with moving forward. I was then told good luck getting someone to work on the vehicle. I had to pick up the vehicle that day, or they were going to charge me $100 per day, and they would only accept cash even though the shop accepts credit cards. They knew I was out of town for the week and should have mentioned something about the $100 daily fee. With this vehicle being a manual transmission, I had to track someone down to get it for me and make sure that the person could bring cash. Very rude shop to work with and started to make it almost impossible to even get the vehicle back from them. I will never go there again. I will never recommend going there.

Didn’t have any need for repair services. Stopped by and asked the guys in for help with recovering a single house key I mistakenly dropped inside my car’s passenger seat. Brandon was kind enough to swiftly help me recover the key. Thanks gents!

One of the back windows in my Yukon all of a sudden dropped and would not roll up. I called these guys and asked if they could repair it. They gave me an estimate when I called and told me to come by in the morning. The next morning they fixed it within a couple hours. Great service!

Sis let me tell you, this place doesn’t play!! This place lives up to their 5 star reviews. As for the few one stars, we have to consider all the Karens w cheugy attitudes. Staff works hard, communicates well, and you surely can count on them. I was referred to Sam Moore’s by Scott Andrews bec Sam Moore’s works on BMW’s. You know when a mechanic recommends another shop, it’s A1. Thanks again Sam Moore’s and staff

Sister in laws experience: About a month or so I got my car fixed because the AC was blowing hot air. The mechanic told me that I needed to change the blower motor and resistor and I paid close to $800 to have it fixed. When I picked it up I noticed immediately that something was messed up because when I turned it sounded like something was scraping and I did NOT have that issue before taking it so I immediately took it back. They told me "that doesn't sound like something we would've done. We were fixing your AC we would have been no where near your tires or anything but we'll take a look at it." (Essentially trying to take blame off themselves). After they looked at it he said "so we found that the steering wheel wasn't attached correctly. We had to remove it to look at something for the AC and must have forgotten to re attach it. Well, we are human and sometimes we do make mistakes so 🤷‍♂️." Never apologized or anything lol. Also the AC wasn't really blowing well and noticed that when the car was idle it was stop blowing cold air and started blowing warm air and since he had told me there was warranty on the parts if I had issues I could come bring it back in. So I called and explained the issues and brought up the warranty and he said "well that sounds like a completely different issue" and I said "well no because that's what I explained when I brought it in the first time, basically the same exact issues I was already having prior to bringing it in the first time" and he said "well I don't understand why they would replace your blower motor then because that has nothing to do with the temperature of the air blowing." And I was thinking so you're admitting that you charged and "fixed" something that did not need to be replaced? Lol anyone this place has been absolutely awful if you need your car fixed do NOT go to Sam Moore's Automotive on Rosedale Hwy. They've been absolutely awful and have been overcharging and fixing things that didn't need fixing since I first came in. 0/10 stars lol

After visiting Bakersfield for the 4th of July fireworks. Went to the car with my wife and daughter. Car would not start, did all the normal checking. Next day had it towed to Sam Moore's Automotive. They gave me a great turnaround time next day for diagnostic and if it was the starter next day. Was originally stranded and abandoned by my insurance & roadside. Two tow truck companies and Sam Moore's Automotive saved us. Excellent people, very down to earth will tell you upfront. I know next time I need help or anything checked out I'm going to them. Even if I'm 72 miles away they are worth it. Thank you again guys, you saved our butts.

This place saved my car! When my battery died, I needed to find a place that would replace it immediately. They resolved my issue quickly and made me feel at ease. They even charged way less than they could have. They are honest, professional, trustworthy, and have excellent customer service. I would 100% recommend them for your automotive needs.

Well, the jury is awaiting all the evidence! I took my car in for an oil change & to have the fan/blower fixed on my air conditioner. The oil change was pretty routine but they had to order the part for my AC. I take it back in 3 days for that, so stay tuned for my final decision. BUT, I will say that the owner & his staff are very personable & seem to really know their stuff. So fingers crossed that I'll be able to tell you that everything went great & my AC is working like a dream!!

Over the summer my mom traveled to Cali from S.C. During her trip she experienced intermittent a/c problems. A Ford dealership in Missouri couldn't diagnose the issue. David found the issue to be a dirty battery post causing a low voltage signal which shut off the a/c. Six months later and her a/c works perfectly. Great unbeatable service!

Thieves. This shop ordered a product from our business, then changed their mind and tried to return it after opening and attempting install (stating customer changed their mind). We informed them we couldn't accept it back after it had been opened and used. They then filed a fraudulent chargeback, and still have the product in their possession. Take the money and run...
