Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unfinished Work I’m disappointed to say the least after my experience with Sal’s Garage. The shop was recommended to me as a place that does quality work, and I was told they were honest and fair. However, my experience has been the complete opposite. I purchased a car in Florida and had it inspected by Sal's Garage shop manager. The car was given a clean bill of health, with only a few minor issues noted—chief among them, the back windows not operating. I asked the manager specifically about the condition of the car, including the electrical system, windows, radio, transmission, and clutch. He assured me the car was in good shape and that it was really nice overall. Based on that reassurance, I asked if they could handle getting the windows functioning and address the carburetor issue with the disconnected electric choke wire. I was told "yes." However, after nearly two months of waiting and numerous issues, I finally got the car back, and it was far from what was promised. As soon as the car was unloaded, the rear window dropped and became non-functional, and one of the other rear windows wasn’t working either. To make matters worse, the interior door panels were missing, all five window tracks were messed up, and the windows still weren’t functioning properly. The electronics were also in disarray, with multiple gauges and the radio not working. From a mechanical standpoint, the issues were even worse. The rear axle seal was leaking, the driveline had a noticeable vibration, and the shifter and clutch were full of "slop" and needed attention. In short, the car was in much worse condition than I was told, and many more problems were uncovered than were disclosed during the inspection. To add insult to injury, when I tried reaching out to the shop for clarification and to discuss these issues, I received no response to calls or texts. I don’t mind putting in the work to fix a car, but if I had known the true state of the vehicle, I likely would have reconsidered the purchase. The fact that the work they were supposed to do wasn’t completed at all has left me extremely frustrated. As of now, I’m having another company handle the repairs that Sal's Garage was supposed to complete. I’m genuinely upset with the service, the lack of communication, and the wasted money. TODATE 7000 TO FIX WHAT THEY DID NOT.

Always a good experience when I step into the shop. I always know that whenever I leave the issue I may be having will be resolved. Very knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy workers!!

came here 3 times. once for AC repair. Once for brakes. again for AC. let me just say this is the most HONEST shop I’ve ever been. Sam and Kevin are very honest and affordable. AC was acting up. took it in first thing this morning and had my vehicle back by 5 pm- same day service. I will be bringing all my vehicles back to this shop in a heartbeat.

As a senior woman, I am extremely comfortable with Sam and his crew. Reasonably priced and tries to work within my budget. I was confused regarding repairs that needed to be done and he offered to speak with my son before starting the work. He got me in quickly got me out quickly and my car drives like a dream. Finding a good mechanic is as important as finding a good doctor. A good mechanic you can trust.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BEST SHOP EVER!!!! GO HERE!!!! This shop is amazing the staff make sure you leave satisfied, and I’m at a loss of words for how fast and efficient their service is. I will be sure to come back here for any issue I have in the near future. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Rates are completely fair as well $

Just a shout out to NICK at Sal's in Winter Haven. I came in late Saturday with my Accord and he came out right away and started looking at my tire. Nick is a good person and I'm having my entire family go see him for all vehicle/tire concerns from this point forward. Thanks Again Nick

Extremely helpful. Explained everything to me in detail, telling me it would not solve my problem (the service to which i was inquiring about) resulting in me gaining alot of respect for him and me not using his shop. But i will remember his honesty and integrity the next time my car breaks

These guys at Sals are too awesome!They worked on my car, gave me a ride home,and picked me up! They put brakes and struts on my Ford and done before quitting time.. Thanks so much guys! Only mechanic i will use now. Sam the manager use to have some guys that didnt know what they were doing. but at sals he has great guys. none of my family or friends have ever had any issues.
