How I became a Sal's customer: Another company (rhymes with scaamco) did a transmission install for me. A few days later, the steering wheel doesn't seem to do anything until you make a medium turn. We take it back to that other shop and they say the rack and pinion bushings are bad and you have to replace the whole thing and control arms and yada yada. They quote $3200 to replace it with a new one. I called around the city, trying to get ballpark estimates for rack & pinion replacements. Some shops seem annoyed to have to talk on the phone. Some didn't call back like they promised. Sal's was one of the few that was courteous and actually followed through on a call-back. It was a bonus that the price they quoted was lower than most. A few weeks later, I get the car over to Sal's and ask them to verify the scope of work and give a formal estimate. They identified the issue, the CORRECT scope of work, and quoted me a very reasonable labor and parts price. I happily accepted, and they did an excellent job on it. It WAS a speedy repair, but that's not the mark of a good auto-shop in my book. I will be taking my vehicles to Sal's from now on.

Place is great and affordable, and they do good work. Only issue is you can’t make an appointment and sometimes have to leave your car with them for a couple of days before they can work on it. Otherwise great shop.

This mechanic shop is awesome I highly recommend you go here if you want fast and good quality work did to your vehicle, they fixed my problem with my van very quickly. The mechanic named Herny did a great job on my van. Muhammad showed great customer service he was very friendly and helpful.

Always polite prompt and professional. You couldn’t ask for a better place to get a quick cost efficient oil change. These guys are also an ethical shop, and they won’t try to recommend work you don’t need or pad the bill with miscellaneous air filters like some places do. I have yet to have a bad experience and I highly recommend them.

I've been a customer here for a few years for a reason. They are trustworthy and affordable. I recently had my Mini Countryman serviced and had a mass air flow sensor cleaned. Everything was done within an hour. Very clean and professional .

My wife and I both had car problems within an hour of each other on the same morning. Sal’s got us in right away, and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and what our options were. They have always taken good care of us with oil changes and quality prompt service. (Often much more reasonable prices as well) We will continue to come back and trust them when we have needs for our vehicles.

This is the only place I’m comfortable taking my cars. The main guy at the counter that helps me is so patient and explains everything very well.
