Unauthorized storage customer had car towed in to be looked at shop never even got customers name or a signature when I went to pick vehicle up he says oh I didn’t know the customer abandoned it I thought she was gonna pay us to fix it and then started filling out a bill and charged $700 for storage without any signature from customer

As a single female it's hard to find someone that you can trust Mr. Marvin is someone That you can trust HIS WORK is MAGNIFICENT and his prices are AFFORDABLE This is very important to a single female. I've been using his services since 1995 Up until today I'm needing breaks on my 2016 Kia Sorento Mr. Marvin was also the mechanic that sent me to KIA to have my motor replaced for FREE because I didn't know they had a recall He's a very dependable man With the love of God in his ♥ I pray that the Lord keeps him around for a very long time we depend on him if we didn't have him I don't know what we would do or who we could depend on.

If you want a mechanic they're going to fix your car and do it right go see Mr Marvin and his prices are not high so I shopped around and he was the less expensive one in town

I have no idea why anyone would give a bad review, For years I've been going here, I highly recommend you not listen to customers who probably wanted something for nothing, The quality of work here is Excellent, I wouldn't let anyone else work on my car, Marvin is the absolute best, I just picked my car up today, and it's running so great I didn't even know it was on, Marvin is a man of the cloth, he's very honest, if you didn't get an early estimate I assure you it was because he was looking for the best deal possible, he works extremely hard even when he's not feeling well, I wish I could give a billion stars, I'm always satisfied with any vehicle I bring up there, sorry for writing a book but trust me S&Y deserves mega props, before I moved to Jax I ran into all kinds of mechanics, oh but God! When I came to Jax imagine how relieved I was to finally have an Honest, Affordable, Reliable Mechanic, they are rare, Thank God I found one, and his name is Marvin.

I took my car to this shop. I regret to write this but I believe in people being fair. My vehicle was returned to me with an ear piercing sound coming from the muffler. Which they told me they had to patch it up., as if the tow. per son did it. I was not only not told about the damages to my car until pick up , but items were missing. Not only that but after checking with the tow company to figure out what happ2 to my muffler and they tell me it is missing a part????? I am furious. I am barely making ends meet and to have given them all i had and to get my car back with now other problems I didnt have . No one should come here. I have a huge lyft bill for the four days they held on to it as well. Smh.

The staff here is excellent and fair in their prices. Most of the complaint are from people who want to get over or some sort of “cousin” discount. Y’all know what I’m talking about. I got an estimate here and at Pep boys, and S&Y charged me 450 less than what pep boys was asking for. On top of all of that, the work is guaranteed with a warranty and they gave me candy 🍭 . Service was done in a timely fashion and with a smile. I always bring my car, my mommas car and my grand mommas car here whenever there’s a problem. No complaints nor problems.
