This is specifically for PAT He was supposed to replace my alternator after 6 days of no form of contact. When he finally came out I paid him the money to replace it with a brand new one. Instead, PAT decided to go get a old one from a near by junk yard. Not only he got an old one, he also put it in wrong. Not even 5 mins after he left the car broke down and I was stranded for a couple of hours. I called PAT over 20 times and no response. Still to this day. Do not deal with this company because you WILL get robbed. It may no the begining but it WILL happen. So this message is for PAT, you are the reason people can't trust car mechanics.

Do not go here they are scammers. They will take your money after business and then come back and say you gave them fake money. GO TO A REAL SHOP.

Definitely would not use this company. Pat came out to replace knock sensor on my car. Seemed like all was good. Car was running and he said that it was fixed. I paid him and went to drive right after he left. First I turned on windshield wipers and they flew off . Then I noticed my windshield was cracked in left corner in several places. I immediately called him because he couldn’t have gone far, with no answer. Then my car died at stop light. I have tried multiple times to call him and have left messages with no response. I’m disabled with a fixed income and am now out over $500.00 and my car is in worse shape now than before he worked on it.

Dude totally ghosted me with no explanation. Could’ve simply said he couldn’t do the job or was busy, but just completely stopped responding.

He ghosted me. He came out and diagnosed the issue and the next day he stated he couldn’t find the part but was still looking. I never heard from him after that. I figured something happened until I read other reviews with similar experiences.

Pat fixed my car in no time! I called 5 other mobile mechanics. Some of them were rude or overpriced and none of them were available. I am highly satisfied and I don't understand what all of the negative reviews before mine were about.

ROBBED MY POOR MOTHER!!! If I could rate no stars that’s what I would do!!! This guy stole from my mom who is on a fixed income!!! We will be taking him to court. Broke my mom’s windshield and didn’t say anything. My poor mom gets in the car and it shuts off, the windshield wipers are broke. This guy is a scammer !!!! The car is in worse shape than she started with. We will be seeing him in court!

Thank God for Ronnie. He came to Sheetz parking lot after 8pm and got my 2023 Bronco Sport back on the road as good as new after experiencing some damage to my Heat Shield underneath my vehicle. Thank you thank you thank you. I just found my mechanic. Highly recommend, he knows his stuff and he’s fair.

I had a good experience working with them! I connected them because I had an airbag light turn on. Shawn was able to come out to do a diagnostic($45). After about 30 minutes, he found out the problem was my Clockspring. Sadly, he wasn't able to fix it because the part we needed wasn't sold in the store, but nevertheless, he gave me peace of mind knowing what was wrong. The only thing I wish was better was being able to know exactly what time he was coming just so that I'm not sitting at home waiting all day. Other than that, the service was great, and I'll be back if something happens with my car again

Very professional! Was able to get to my vehicle the same day. Very trustworthy as I was not able to be at my car due to work but he did the job and had my car back on the road! I was pretty certain I knew the problem but he made sure to diagnose it first before just jumping in! Prices were very Very reasonable and I would recommend this company every chance I get!! Highly Recommend! RVA saved me money! I could not get to Richmond to help my daughter with her car. We thought the starter was bad. I arranged with Pat at RVA to pick up a starter and go replace it. When he arrived, he immeadiately noticed it was just poor cabling/connectors on the battery. Pat fixed that quickly and and saved me money! If you're a Dad and need a trusting person to help your family...RVA MM is the right call!!!

Best money I ever spent- I have an old ambulance that lost power and wouldn’t start, they dug through all the unusual ambulance electrical and had it up and running in 30 min and even took the time to answer my questions as they were working. As a woman mechanics can be very judgmental, especially about diesel vehicles and Pat was great. WAY better than towing it somewhere, definitely will be my new goto mechanic. Thanks for getting me back in the road Pat!

Had a spark plug fouling out it my truck after we parked the camper (400 miles from home). Called Patrick at rva mobile mechanics gave me a great price for just the one plug replacement and had someone to the campground with in the hour to get it swapped out for me. Thank you again Patrick

They did not replace the oil filter that I had purchased I checked after paying the next day and it was the same one on there as there was before. Also charged me for a service that he supposedly already repaired and said he wouldn't charge me if I had any problems with it in the future which was a lie

We had a great experience with Amy. She kept in contact with us as she was in route to us. She quickly identified the issue with why our car was stuck in neutral and would not shift into gear. She was friendly, personable and educated us about the issue and her plan for fixing it. She also gave us information on safe websites to order car parts. The cost for the repair was reasonable considering that she traveled to us. I introduced her to my daughter who lives in the area and in need of a mobile mechanic. She will be using this mechanic for future repairs. I highly recommend her!

Yeah right, if you read through the reviews you may see this theme repeats itself... So, I was originally quoted $50 but then it went to $80 as they said I was "out of area." I didn't know any better so I agreed. They said they would perform a diagnostic of what I suspected was a front crankshaft seal leak which according to them should've taken 15 minutes. Technician was hours late, showed up wearing an office suit and in a small personal vehicle loaded with basic tools (perhaps I was expecting a pickup truck with like Knapheide tool boxes but ok, one doesn't need a big shop to conduct a quick diagnosis I figured) but then... Our conversation was generally dissociated, he appeared confused and disoriented... Couldn't remember what was wrong with the vehicle (stating fuel pump issues), I explained it was the oil leak front crankshaft seal? Oh yeah.... Bit more banter, he starts talking about the muffler and catalytic converter, here I wonder if this guy was mentally capable... Appeared unsteady on his feet and lost as if he lacked clear direction in terms of what he should be doing next, finally unloaded a floor jack... Still playing around inside his vehicle, mumbling about tools, then comes out unwrapping the wires from a multi-meter, at this point I asked him what he was doing? He said something about ac/dc and diagnostics, I said it's an OIL LEAK not an electrical problem. He stands there with a blank look, I'm like "oil leak, front crankshaft seal?" He then starts talking about the rates I was quoted, I said yes $80 and he said those were from yesterday and started hinting towards $130... At this point I lost it (mostly because "yesterday" was Sunday and they don't work Sundays), and maybe I overreacted but I told him I didn't want him working on my vehicle especially since we were already 20 minutes into it and he hadn't even done anything and I was afraid he'd start taking things apart in his state of confusion I'd shortly end up with a vehicle that would never run again (or at least not without great expense). He then says he showed up so he still has to get paid because by law (his words) it would be construed as theft of service. I asked him if he wanted to call the law (and in a tone suggested he should!) and he hesitated. He was wondering why the antagonism, I told him I'd get him his stinking money but he can pack up and go. So I paid him his $80 for doing absolutely nothing since he low key threatened me ("theft of service") so I sure hope it was worth it. I highly suspect this guy was on some kind of mind-altering medication (whether prescribed or otherwise) as I simply can't explain the dissociation, confusion and disorientation otherwise but I wouldn't trust this guy to work on anything of mine, I seriously wonder if he even knows what he is doing and I certainly will never call this company again.

I had a cylinder misfire. Pat showed up within twenty minutes for a tune up. One part was difficult to obtain same day but he took the initiative of ordering it for immediate pickup following morning. After replacing all spark plugs and gaskets, he did not charge any extra labor for installing an ignition coil next day. Runs like new!
