I had a laundry list of maintenance items due at 100K miles on our Honda Odyssey. Chip was courteous and honest about our situation. Rushing Automotive got the work done quickly and at a significant savings. Definitely will use them again!

I was visiting from out of town and my a/c went out. My husband found Rushing Automotive online and recommended them because of the amazing reviews, and I can truly say they stand by their reviews! Chip was extremely professional and knowledgeable! They ran my diagnostic, ordered the part and had my a/c back up and running within reason. This is definitely an honest business and I wouldn’t mind making the drive again for any other repair.

I rarely write customer reviews, but this company deserves the highest of praise. Many repair shops see a woman come in and overwhelm them with unnecessary upsell repairs. That is clearly not the case at Rushing Automotive. The dealership recommended some of those upsell repairs costing about $600 more than Rushing Automotive. Chip explains necessary repairs in language I clearly understand and even took pictures showing how and why the repairs were made. This shop is honest, transparent and will be taking care of my car from now on! I highly recommend it and would give it 10 stars if I could.

So I reached out on Yelp to mechanics regarding my truck and this shop got back to me very quickly. I was able to schedule drop off and even pick up the same day! They did call me to confirm the work before they did it which I think is really considerate. After leaving, I went home and googled everything that they did and I genuinely feel like they gave me the services and parts at a fair price. I took my truck in because I'm about to move across the country. You know hauling all of my stuff so I wanted to make sure my truck could make it. I chose this place because of the other amazing yelp reviews. Now I 100% feel better and safer going on this journey thanks to this shop!

Was looking for an auto shop to get some brake work done, as I was tired of dealing with the FRANCHISE service centers and their bs. I went on Yelp to find a new mechanic and in less than twenty four hours I received a response from Chip. I read all the reviews about Rushing Automotive, so I decided to give them a try and glad I did!! Not only was I quoted a very reasonable price, when my car was ready it was even cheaper. In today’s climate every little bit saved helps. I appreciate the honesty more than anything and my car drives better! Rushing automotive has gained a new customer for life! Highly recommended!!

My friend and I broke down near Rushing Automotive, and they were absolutely amazing. Everything from telling us which tow company to use, to allowing us to sit in their office for hours while waiting to get picked up. Chance was so incredibly kind, and I cannot recommend this place enough.

I can’t say enough nice things about Rushing Automotive. I went in with one problem and they fixed 3 others (all of which I was aware of. I’m a “turn the radio up; no more problem” kind of person, bless my heart. They were honest and fair and I feel safe driving my car again. Shout out to Chip, I’m happy to have found a reputable company for all my car repair needs.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Took my Jeep renegade to them. Have less than 100,000 miles on it. They charged me $1,400 - didn’t repair the problem. Literally picked my vehicle up from them & within two minutes of driving from their parking lot, knew the problem wasn’t fixed. They were recommended by an acquaintance since I just moved here and don’t know anyone. Thank the good Lord a co worker recommended a reputable place in Irmo, SC. My “gut” upon meeting these ppl was “off” and run… yet not knowing anyone in the area & desperately needing a vehicle for my job as a homecare nurse. Remember- what goes around comes around. I’m out $1,400 - yet they will not have repeat customers AND my right to freedom of speech- I will leave a review on social media for 5,000 ppl to see , share via Instagram , linked in , Facebook. It’s my obligation to warn the public when something is shady so no one else is scammed like I was. What a shame. And if they ask you to pay in cash- DON’T.

Highly Recommend: Chip(owner) spent many hours on an electrical problem on my wife's 2011 Lexus. He called in a friend of his who worked with Toyato who when inside to 'program' the modules. Chip did NOT Charge me, due to the fact he did NOT know if it would work or not. I offered multiple times to give him something for his time, he denied. Most if not mechanics would charge you for their time, minimum. What I am giving him is MY Business going forward. Honest, dependable, & has a very good knowledge of foreign cars. Chris
