When it comes to mufflers and exhausts, Brian is a wizard. Very competent. Very efficient. Very reasonable. He will probably diagnose and repair your vehicle in less time than it takes some places to do their, rather pricey, "diagnostics." (Not to mention how much more time you'll have to wait if you agree to the service.) And Brian won't "find" 15 other things "wrong" with your car as he makes the repair. Now my ride is as quiet as the day I bought it 12 years ago. Rod's Muffler is a great family-owned business.

Get a second quote! Went to rods he said 200$... I went to Jim's muffler on 41 . like the crystal river lube told me . Jim did it for 70$ so I took the 15 minute drive to save 130$ and I'll do it again. Go to rods get ripped off.. what a scumbag to over charge people you know hes an hungry money lover

I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes for a muffler delete. He was very straightforward with me when I asked about buying/using another product for the desired effect that I wanted, but he informed me that the product I wanted could fail between 6 months to 2 years depending on the quality I bought, so I went with the cheaper, more effective, and permanent solution.

Brian is very professional and he takes pride in his work. He just did the exhaust on my Yukon and I'm extremely happy with his work. I definitely recommend getting all exhaust work done by him.

Brian's previous work and service was great. I was told a week prior over the phone by Brian to come any day but Thursday. I live in Spring Hill so it's about an 80mile drive, round trip. I came this past Wednesday and Brian told me he was slammed, so he said if I come back Friday morning at 8 he would get me right in, and offered me 25 bucks off the price to help defer my gas cost, as I have a truck that gets 7 miles to the gallon. I agreed. Come Friday morning, I arrive before opening. When Brian arrives at 8 another truck was already waiting. Brian then asks who was first, the other truck was earlier than me. Brian proceeded to get started putting the other truck on the lift. I then questioned him why the other truck was going ahead of me, when he had told me if you're here at 8 I'll get you right in. Brian starting getting extremely nasty with me immediately,, telling me, I've been here 35 years and it's always been first come, first serve, which I can appreciate, but he did tell me on Wednesday as I left if you come at 8 I'll get you right in..(ordinarily I would gladly wait, but I have an 11 AM doctor appointment in Hudson) that tells me he would work on my vehicle first. But, it didn't work out as promised. He became extremely nasty and cursed me continually with ever nasty curse word he could come up with. I responded with some myself. He said he hope you DIE as I was told to get the F out of there... Not a great way to start a day.. 😡I did over hear Brian talking to the other customer with the truck mentioning that he had to leave early that day. Maybe something terrible or pressing is going on in Brian's life. I forgive him for the outburst, and I hope he can forgive me for my outburst. Hope all is works out well for you Brian.

Only place i would go for this type work. Besides, going here supports a locally owned business, not a chain or corporate location. Happens to be extremely skilled and honest. Could have gouged me and didn't. Sent me away the first time to verify the work I needed wasn't covered by warranty or Federal law. Saved me at least $1,300.00 over a different location.

This guy is extremely rude. I just needed a new muffler hanger welded on. He didn't want to do that and told me to buy a new exhaust system. I explained that the cost was more than the cost of the entire car, and i just needed a hanger. He was really upset that I didn't want to buy an overpriced, complete exhaust system. He started getting loud and rude and insulted my car and told me to pull the pos out. He had my last review deleted, and many of the other negative reviews. This business review score is fake.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best automotive experiences that I have ever had. Fast, easy, simple, and fairly priced. This shop is the real deal, and I cannot recommend them enough! Within 2 hours, my exhaust was fixed and ready for the road.

Brian was so amazing. My cat was clogged and the dealership was gonna charge me thousands. He was able to fix the issue and get it done the next day. Very fast, friendly and affordable. Only had to pay a fraction of what the dealership was charging. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend!!!
