Ok...he advertised a car we were interested in. Went to see it. He seemed like a stand up guy. Things aren't always how they seem. The bottom line...4200 bux later I drive it home and then it wouldn't start. Rob says bring it to me I'll make it right. It took him 10 days to put in a starter and a new headlight. Yes I know things can happen BUT..the lack of him keeping us apprised was poor. He said..I get the part Wednesday..pick up Thursday. Here it is Saturday at 12 that's was agreed time and then AGAIN not being professional He leaves us waiting over half an hour. His brother was kind enough to call him ..gets my man on the phone talking about doing a check to make sure of things.REALLY? His lack of HAVEING CHECKED THINGS PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL would have softened the wait for 2 weeks but NO..so my review is based on his lack of professionalism, and keeping his PAID customer happy. I am far from happy that I feel like we weren't important enough to go above and beyond after he apparently didn't make sure everything was right the 1st time. It's sad that people can't be consistent. There was no waiting to get paid but you leave us waiting and waiting. Let's address the issue of my car's power steering hose bursting and the car catching on fire. For the power steering pump none of the the clamps or anything were connected to hold it into place and the one hose was not where it should be which was laying on the engines manifold which caused this whole scenario. The power steering pump Reservoir was just sitting on top of the engine not bolted down to anything. The motor cover not bolted down to anything as well. Also, none of the radiator hoses or the radiator itself was clamped in where it should be it was just floating. This company as well as its owner and its workers off by far the most incompetent owner and mechanics that I've ever come across in my life. The owner of had the audacity to call my boyfriend and tell him that I gave him a poor review and he didn't understand why. My boyfriend told him first of all your mechanic took twice as long to do what you told us had to be done and you never even contacted us to let us know that it would take a longer amount of time. My boyfriend told him what had transpired with the power steering pump and everything else and robbed the owner stated that that mechanic is no longer with me. What does that have to do with the fact that he lacked skills but you know how to take my money and smile when he handed it to you. He actually chuckled on the phone like it was some sort of joke. Very very poor business. I will not recommend this company.

Rob did a great job on my jeep, He is a very professional and friendly person and was even willing to go out of his way to lend a ride if needed. The jeep lights turned out great and he offered a great price for it to be completed. I recommend Rob to anyone in need of assistance. 5 stars

Recently I got my car serviced at Rob’s Auto for a rear main seal leak I brought my car to Rob to confirm that the oil leak was actually coming from the rear main seal or if its leaking from another location, but he confirmed it was coming from the rear main seal then after I made appointment for the problem to get fixed. Once Rob started working on my car he kept me updated and informed about my vehicle. Now that I have received my car back I've been keeping an eye on the area where it was leaking from and the issue has been resolved so once again thanks Rob for resolving my issue.

If I could give this business 1000 stars, I would! Exemplary customer service and extremely knowledgeable! I brought my car in and received a breakdown of what was wrong. I brought it in making a rattling noise and left with it quiet and sound! Rob and his team is easily the BEST AMONG THE REST! If you want your car to run properly after SUPPOSEDLY being fix DO NOT take your car to Rob. He didn’t connect my gf coolant hose back to her engine and now her head gasket is blown and he refuses to take accountability to the fact that he messed her engine up. I REPEAT DO NOT!!!! Take your car to Rob’s auto repair cause he break things to make sure you come back and spend more money.

I must say I was reluctant to trust this gentleman with my BMW 528i because I’ve only been to two other mechanics before, one being BMW- Lakeland. I believe he sensed my apprehension and because of that he eased my worry by explaining the entire process with high energy and enthusiasm. He is BY FAR the best mechanic in Polk County, FL. I was referred to by a close friend who has expressed countless times to inquire! Needless to say, she was correct! He fixed my AC blower issue for a reasonable price while also correcting other car concerns I’ve had. I’ve since referred another friend, my husband, and daughter- all whom I love dearly so clearly he is an amazing mechanic. Btw… he ‘backs’ his work with a warranty. He ordered my parts and completed the service within 24 hours 🤯. Tyj I have Air again- in this hot July Florida heat!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rob to take care of my car, and I cannot express how impressed I am at his exceptional service and particularly the incredible amount of personal care and thoughtfulness he puts into his work. Rob is truly unique. One way this has become abundantly evident is: in the past, I had asked him to inspect my car when I was purchasing it. 6 months later, I had called him for help repairing some damage I had caused to my car and he remembered every detail about the car from the time he had inspected it. The things he remembered were uncanny, as he knew my car better than me at this point, Another key indicator is that during this inspection, he demonstrated enjoyment and appreciation from simply looking at the car. It is extremely clear that he truly cares and enjoys what he does, and he does it well. I was also amazed at the connections available to him. If you are in need of a good mechanic then Rob is definitely the man to call. He takes his time to explain what’s wrong with your vehicle and is not out to take advantage of you. He was able to fit me in last minute when my power steering went out. Had to replace the steering rack and I also needed to new brakes. Thank you again Rob!

Rob you are by far the best mechanic I have come across. When people ask me do I know a good mechanic I recommend you every time. He is honest, reasonable prices, trustworthy and a very humble man. I will never go anywhere else. I was quoted on some issues at another local Mechanic shop it would have costed me an arm and a leg for them to repair. Rob explained to me what was wrong and what needs to be fixed. I thank you Rob for the work you do and I will be a valued and repeat customer as long as I own a vehicle.

Rob has saved the day again. He replaced my shocks and struts at a reasonable price. He does quality, timely work. He also takes the time to explain the repairs allowing me learn and be comforted that I am safe in my vehicle. I trust his work and he stands behind it with a higher than standard warranty.
