Been waiting for a good day to take my truck for a transmission repair and guy kept putting me off for one week then two weeks then three finally my truck had to be sold even doe It hurt to sell it. I had hear good things about this place but my experience might be different from yours. So still try them on. Good luck and hope your experience is better then mine

We have been taking our cars to his shop the past 10+ years. Antonio is still the best honest mechanic in East Dallas.

Rivas garage was HIGHLY recommended. I'm glad I listened and engaged Rivas. I went one other place before visiting Rivas and was MIS DIAGNOSED! Antonio confirmed that the previous diagnosis was incorrect and diagnosed correctly. DRIVE SHAFT REPLACEMENT. We made an appointment (wow what a great idea). The part was challenging to acquire. The part came in and was installed within a reasonable time and correctly. He gave me some maintenance instructions and off I went. Value was very reasonable. CASH ONLY ... I recommend Rivas Garage. THANK YOU!

Worst experience ever. And I've been lied to at transmission places before! This however, topped it all off. My car needed a starter, the only reason I used this place was due to my car giving up on me at the bakery next door. Needless to say, they over charge and have the absolute worse customer service known to man. My starter has a lifetime warranty but his fees are outrageous! I would rather replace it myself! His labor fees plus the part cost $240! If anything happens he would replace it with a labor fee of $120....the part costs $88....wow, rip off dude. On top of all this, after he man handled my vehicle it started making a horrific noise that he claims had nothing to do with him or his assistants. I drive my car every day, I know when it makes certain noises. Which he denies had anything to do with him....just stay away, be forewarned. Stay away
