Hands down the most trusted mechanic I’ve been to. Every time I have issue with my car I bring it right to David. He gives you the truth as to letting you know the price and what the problem is…… very detailed.

I typically change my own oil and filter. I had it in the shop I thought I might as well pay for the service and have them do it as it won’t cost much. When I went to pick it up, they changed the oil and told me that I don’t need to worry about the oil filter as it’s leaking anyway (it’s an older car but it works fine) so by the time I need any oil change I can just put more oil. Turns out when I just tried to do my own oil change I couldn’t take off my oil filter because they overtightened it accidentally and knew something would break if they tried to replace it/un-tighten and that would mean they’re losing time and money on their own mistake. So… they just let it be and come up with a story as I’m a younger guy so they assume I wouldn’t know much. Found out now that I did my own service. They also have rats that ate through my back seat belt and wasn’t compensated for it.

I took my car to David Rivas. Rivas auto Xpress. Hands-down I give this guy more than five stars. He fix the catalytic converter and gave me a fair price. He looked around different places to get me a good price on it. Tough to trust a mechanic on your baby your vehicle, but try to give David a chance he’ll do what he can and at a fair price David, thanks again. Hopefully my car won’t break down anytime soon but if it does, I know where to take it.

Listen I've had engines replaced. Only once per vehicle. Transmission on my truck. Timing belt repairs, radiators brakes ac locked door jam. You name it Rivas Auto express gets it done. Honest and never unchanging. He fixes the issue and not more than what's needed. His moto to me is one thing at a time unless it's obviously in need of repair. Keeps the cost down and unnecessary work from being done. Who can say their mechanic does that for em? Not many but I can! You would be able to as well. Everyone in our family goes to Rivas Auto Express. I tell anyone and everyone to go there. He doesn't even need this review but he's a fantastic dude and their company is above and beyond expectations.

I've lived in phx 36yrs. If I don't do the work om my car. The only mechanic I trust is David Rivas and his people. Honest, upfront, reliable, ethical, timely and friendly. What else could you ask for. Typically fixes little things he see's along rhevway if he can and is able.

Visited here when my turbo failed on me driving up I-17 in the mountains. I made my way back down to Phoenix and he replaced the Turbo the next day. I then had another issue driving up the mountain and returned and he found the issue was a broken electrical wire. He didn’t charge me for the second minor fix, and the car has worked well ever since. I appreciate the low cost fixes and expertise on a sprinter van. Thank you

Tooo busy to do same day diagnostics abs 115.00 fee was steep when problem was identified to be a cruise control or throttle cable issue prior to taking it to shop so I didn't use their service.

My control arm is on the ground and my car was on my tire . They fixed it in 4 hours . Excellent fast service and inexpensive . Highly recommend them .
