This is the only place I take my car if I need anything done. Joe is fantastic. I get fast and friendly service each and every time I have been there. From a flat tire to everything in between I go to Joe. The place is convenient, just right there on Broadway in Alton.

I found a really good condition 1989 Honda Accord with only 107,000 original miles on it that had been sitting in a garage for several years. It has a factory fuel-injected carburator with what appears to be about 15 vacumn lines surrounding it. Everytime I would start the car, it would immediately want to high idle at around 3,500 RPM and would never drop down to less than 2,200 RPM. I replaced the carburator myself with a rebuilt carburator from National Carburator listed on eBay, but this did not solve the high idle problem! Lowe's Auto Repair on Milton road charged me $100 to do a smoke test to find any vacumn leaks, but this was nothing more than a waste of money and time. Bristol Auto Repair did not have a clue why the idle was always so high. Dave's Import Auto Repair located on Route 140 in Cottage Hills took one look at all the numerous vacumn lines and promptly turned away, saying he didn't want to have anything to do with it. But when I took this beautiful condition Honda Accord with such low mileage to Reza's on Broadway in Alton, they understood exactly what was wrong and were able to fix the problem and now my Honda Accord idles smooth at only high idles at around 1,300 RPM when I start the engine cold, and then drops down to only 750 RPM at normal idle!!! These guys are absolutely amazing! Plus they only charged me $140 to fix it. They even took the time to explain to me in great detail what was wrong and how they had to fix it. Turned out that the automatic choke was not set correctly for the climate in this area. Nobody but Reza himself knew what was wrong and how to fix this! I'm certainly going to Reza's for all my import Auto repair needs in the future.
