I stumbled across this gem while driving down the service road. Greatest find ever! Firstly, when entering the shop, you're greeted with the most welcoming smiles and hellos. They treat everyone's vehicle as if it's the most urgent matter at the present time. The quality of the work is supreme and thorough. Definitely the surgeon of vehicles!

Professional and courteous. They did What they said when they said they would. They went on and repaired even the little things. Communication was good when it took a little longer than they thought. My work van runs great now. I have another car on the way to them. Highly recommended.

I grew up in a shop and have seen my share good ones and bad ones. When we got stuck with some electrical issues we called 20+ shops looking for someone who knows diesels (and were honest about that), weren’t just trying to get any business that comes through the door, asked the right questions over the phone, and we eventually found the guys in Slidell. We managed to limp to the shop and Corey (the owner) got the team right on it. They got right to work tracing the issues, found the problem and an adjacent problem through good diagnostics, not trial and error which can cost you a fortune. They were very thorough and made sure we weren’t going to get back on the road just to get stuck again a few miles later. Not only are they a highly competent team, they obviously have a great working environment which comes out in how everyone is treated and treat everyone else. They were all genuinely lovely people and we were very well taken care of over the few days we spent with them. We have a toddler which can be challenging when stranded, but they treated us like family guests and provided everything we needed, even toys for the little. I would go out of my way to have work done here and can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Cory, Larry, and team for your dedication and care to your clients and your work!

10/10 shop. Dropped my car off and they got to it the very next day. They fixed the wrong part at first but since they misdiagnosed it, they replaced the right part and didn’t charge me anything at all. Most other shops will charge you even if it is their fault. Very professional shop, will be going back later in the future.

These guys at Renaissance Motors impressed me. They were able to take in my 1985 El Camino the very next day. I was sure it was the water pump. They did a thorough diagnostic test. Not the water pump - it was coolant hoses. Honesty is the best policy. I’ll definitely use them again. Thanks to Charles and Shannon who got me in and tightened up fast!

the engine light in my 2011 Hyundai Elantra came on. took it to. my usual mechanic 3 times because the engine light always came back on after their repair. A friend recommended Renaissance Motors for a better diagnosis. I stopped in on a whim and they sent me home in an Uber. They found the correct faulty sensor, replaced it and corrected the installation of my previous mechanic and I had the car back the next day all good. Since then Cory & Co have corrected previous repairs to my AC unit and replaced neglected filters. All at a very reasonable price and of course now they are my family "go to" for any auto repairs.

Larry and Cory were great. They gave me a time frame for a head gasket job on my Honda Accord. They had it finished well before the scheduled completion date. Will 100% use them in the future.

I was running out of my car engine leaking oil driving from Washington to Texas and I needed to find a place online and I looked for a reliable place and I found this place and off I went....And there were two such fatherly men there. They helped me. Thank you very much to them.did they understand the situation? They realized that I was stranded and charged me a very small fee. That's very little and they did me a favor. It is nice to do good. It's good and again thank you very much. I recommend, good people.

Traveling on a weekend and Ford F-350 vacuum pump became inop. As a result, lost vacuum pressure to my braking system’s vacuum boost. So NO brakes. I had no idea who to reach out to so I resorted to social media where I made a plea to any friends that could put me in touch with a local diesel mechanic willing to help me get back on the road. Cory, the owner, of Renaissance Motors in Slidell, LA was the only business that responded. He took my truck into his shop Saturday afternoon and had me back on the road by Sunday lunchtime. Replacing a vacuum pump on Ford diesel engine is no easy job, and he made the repairs himself. What auto shop does that?!!! And, here’s the best part, he didn’t take advantage of my situation AT ALL. He charged me straight book rate for his labor only… nothing extra for weekend service. When he told me how much, I had to ask him if he was sure that was right. Got vehicle trouble in Slidell area… Cory and his team are your team. They have earned all of my diesel work going forward.

We were travelling from Honduras to Canada and noticed an issue with our rig. We stopped by to see if the shop could take a look, fully expecting that they would not have time and we would need an appointment. I have a 2015 Cadillac SRX that had some A/C issues with not blowing cold air as it should. After setting up an appoinment the day before, I came in at the scheduled appointment time and they took my car for diagnostics immediately. After about 1 hour, they had the problem identified and gave me a quote. I got the car back before the end of the day and the A/C was back to blowing cold air. All of the staff was professional and from conversations while the vehicle was being diagnosed, they know their stuff. Highly recommend!

My vehicle left in WORSE condition than when I brought it in. I took the van to the Chevy dealer upon getting it back from the shop owner Corey who is a literal criminal and they verified that the work hadn’t been preformed that I paid for. They did not try to make it right or offer a refund or any money back for that matter. $1,600 down the drain and months wasted.

Through my experiences in the past with multiple vehicle issues, I have yet to work with a company so genuine. They were able to diagnose my car last minute and explain to me the extent of my current car issues. I was told what was the issue and why certain parts were needed to be replaced due to my make, model, and year. Due to the importance of the repair I had to resolve it soon due to me being pregnant and having to drive frequently. They helped me apply for payment options promptly after due to my financial situation. ( They had multiple options but applying for the credit card was best for me! ) Once everything financially was resolved they immediately told me what they would be ordering and gave me a time frame for each step. We had a few things that slowed down the repair process, all out of our hands due to external issues, though we were able to continue to coordinate and keep me updated through texting! Through everything I’ve grown to respect the transparency of this business and the kindness of both the owners and workers! My car now works amazing and all of the issues I was having is completely gone! I plan to continue my business with them and I hope anyone else who has any issue with their car to give them a shot! I’m extremely happy and feel safer driving knowing that both my baby and I are safe 😁

The first time I went there they diagnosed the situation and fixed the most critical part needed that I could afford. I was given an itemized list of what had to be done. The other items will be done when it is financially and safely possible. I will keep coming back to them. They are not the cheapest, but the most reliable. .

I couldn't have broken down in a better spot on my cross-country road trip! AMAZING service! I blew a water pump on I10. I called them at 4:45pm, they got me in the next day and got me back on the road by 5pm. The best of all, they didn't take advantage of a stranded motorist. Cory, the technicians, and the owner here are all great people! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
