I took my brand new car to them and had them paint my calipers red. A few months later I noticed that the paint was chipping on all 4. I took it back, they gladly redid them and I was so grateful. Last week, I had a very unexpected thumping, tapping, rattle like something was going to fall off the car. I was freaking out! My husband and I took a day off work and went to the dealership to find out what could possibly be wrong with my brand new car. I was so worried the whole way there, my car sounded so bad and the vibration was so disturbing!! Turns out the car was fine, my caliper bolts were not tight enough. What a dangerous position to put me in. The guys at Honda in Concord assured me that they checked every one of them to make sure they were tightened appropriately. They were excellent. To think that I could've lost my brake caliper or my brakes while driving my car was terrifying.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve taken our 2007 truck to Ratchets Garage and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last! My husband can’t work on it like he used to and Aaron has always been able to take the information Mark gives him, figure out what’s wrong, and fix it. He always explains what he did and why. But most importantly, his prices are reasonable! If you’re in need of a great, trustworthy mechanic Aaron is your guy.

Ratchet’s staff did an excellent job repairing a leak in the moon light drain of my Ford Explorer! They also did an exceptional job of pulling the carpet drying out the car and water sealing it against future potential issues. It’s been over a month since my repair and there’s not been a single drop of water inside my car and no foul smell left from the original flooding. I would highly recommend this crew and I’m thankful for the exceptional work that they do.!!

Aaron with Ratchet’s Garage in Mooresville is a top notch mechanic. He works on several of my personal and work vehicles. He’s got a wide range of knowledge and is able to explain exactly what the issue is and solutions are available. I had an awesome experience with Aaron, very, very fair man. He loves working with people and coming to a nice resolution. I took my racecar there ~ a month ago and unfortunately one of his mechanics broke the adjuster off of my damper during the installation. I showed Aaron this and he was very honest/approachable and ordered me a new set. The only reason Rachet's isn't 5 stars is because of that situation and that one of his techs did poor prep work on a single weld and left it "boogery". I ground it down and put a new bead on top of it to satisfy myself. In my experience 95% of the work was A++ work. If needed, I will take my chassis to him again. Quick, approachable, fairly priced, and very, very, honest. Top Man.

They have a great team of professionals and do both big and small jobs. Mine was a small, but very important one. I needed my steering shaft re-angled, and to say the work was done right would be an unjust understatement. I'm proud of the work that was done to my car and know that when I'm driving at the limit, I'll never have to worry about my steering coming apart.

When you find a mechanic who is honest, you remember. When you find a mechanic who is knowledgeable, you don't forget them. Well, I found a guy who is both, and he and his team did a great job for my Ford F-150 after the dealership misdiagnosed and WAY over quoted the price. Aaron and his team are legit. Thanks Aaron!
