My in-laws when to him with a 5.9 Cummins that nobody else could seem to fix, until it came here. He diagnosed the Correct problem and fixed it, no problem. So I went for a pre purchase vehicle inspection, on a powerstroke I was buying and Luis got me in same day, answered all my questions, and knows what he’s talking about. If you want your rig to keep running, without dealership bs. this is where you want to go.

Good car mechanics are hard to come by. Mark this one as one you want to have. They specialize in trucks and vans but I am sure they welcome cars as well. Took my truck for a repair before my trip. As busy as he was he took me in, he did a great job and was very reasonable in his prices. His diagnosis was right on and he didn't try to fudge his work either. All and all don't take my word, experience it yourself

I had Raineri's do some work on my truck and really appreciated that they took the time to talk about some questions that I had and explain the work that they were going to do. I have gone to dealerships for fluid changes etc the past few times but they're always rushing you in and out and then of course recommending tons of services which don't appear in the manual and if you ask why they don't really want to explain their reasoning. Anyway the team at Raineri spent the time to look at each item and ended up recommending a lot fewer services than the dealership, not necessarily a sign that they're much better, but when I asked about why they were more than happy to explain their reasoning which I really appreciated.

If you’re in need of a diesel mechanic, look no further. Luis is transparent, trustworthy, and timely, and runs an excellent shop that is capable of a wide range of repairs. I needed some emissions work done on my 6.7 Cummins, Luis worked with me to get the job done within my budget. As with any diesel, it took a while for the monitors to clear so I could pass a smog test but the truck just did so and has been check engine light free for several months now.

Luis runs a great shop. Very knowledgeable, upfront, transparent and provides great customer service. He always makes time to talk you through your service and vehicle. They work on a lot of corporate fleets too which should tell you everything you need to know. Raineri worked on my LLY duramax and grand Cherokee eco diesel and knows both motors well. Will be going back to Raineri for all my mechanic needs!

Believe all the stellar reviews, this place is legit. I do all my own maintenance and most repairs. My 2011 GMC Duramax was acting up with codes I couldn't diagnose. The owner Luiz scanned my codes, made the repairs and had me back on the road in a day. I went there because they are diesel specialists and had great reviews. And my experience at the dealer has been not great. Two days after the repair was complete Luiz called to check in and make sure all was good. A+!!

Finding a diesel mechanic in San José is extremely hard, but finding an HONEST and FAIR diesel mechanic is quite impossible. That’s what I thought till I found Raineri. I brought my 2008 F250 thinking I had dead turbos. Luis, inspected the truck and found out it wasn’t that. He was extremely helpful and extremely honest with the findings and the fixtures. His team did an amazing job fixing and doing a General maintenance to my truck. I am beyond satisfied with their service and expertise. If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable mechanic don’t hesitate on having Raineri’s help you out. Thank you Luis and fellow teammates!

Luis and the team have been nothing short of great working on my Jeep and my wife's Volkswagen. I've had both vehicles in for a number of issues over the past year and Luis has kept me informed from start to finish each time. They've been clear about what needs to be done, costs and timing. I brought in a small custom installation job and Luis was very responsive, easy to work with, quick turnaround, quality work and fair pricing. I’ve taken the truck back several times since then and the service has always been professional and trustworthy. Trucks are so complicated these days it’s easy for an unscrupulous shop to fleece you for stuff you don’t need, but I never have any hesitation taking it here knowing my truck is in good hands.

Luis and his team have been servicing my cars for a few years now (VW Passat and Audi Q5). If you are looking for honest, expert and timely attention, look no further. Ranieri Automotive is the place to go. Luis always explains in detail what is needed, will not try to upsell you, and will listen to all your questions/concerns. They will even show you the parts that were replaced and show you videos of their diagnostics.

Luis was fantastic. I called him in the morning because my car was running rough. I showed up an hour later and he stopped what he was doing to quickly diagnose my car right in front of me, then write me an estimate. A few hours later and my car was back to normal. You can't ask for better service. I will definitely be back!

Amazing customer service, quality and honesty. Raineri’s has been in the business a long time and it shows by the number of repeat customers they have in there. I recently bought a used Ford Excursion and wanted a check up on anything needed to ensure safety and performance. I was given an honest quote on the most important items and an explanation of how to prioritize for the best value. What a great experience, they did an amazing job for me!

Dropped off my (admittedly neglected) 6.0 F350 with Raineri for a low power issue. Luis and his team had it figured out in short order. Throughout the entire interaction, Luis was pleasant, professional and gave me multiple options in case there were some repairs I elected not to take, and he gave me his professional opinion what should be addressed first. I'm glad we've got a shop like Raineri in the area. They'll get my business for all future repairs.

I had my 2011 C300 serviced. Very honest evaluation for my cars condition and driving needs..With 385K miles and still going my tune up was a big difference with reasonable costs. My car runs much much better than before. Service was professional with timely follow ups as my car was being worked on. I've been to a few auto places over the years. I'll take an honest straight shooter good mechanic over a used car salesman everytime..And the level of service with the confidence I felt I'd highly recommend.

My dad owned a tire/repair shop in San Jose for 25 years. I grew up in the business. Luis and the Rainieri crew remind me of that old-school, hands-on, customer-oriented service model that made my dad so successful. Rainieri's has my unimitigated, unconditional approval. Took my mustang to Luis and his team for a leak that I had coming from the back window. He found the the leak and instead of just replacing the part he went and above and beyond to seal it better the the factory intended. He has to be one of the most thorough mechanics that I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. After the repairs he even showed my pictures of the improvements that he made and after this last rain he called me up to double check to make sure that isn’t was all fixed. The follow up was great cause it and unexpected and shows that he cares for his customers. I will absolutely be going back and referring friends to him
