I ASK them if anyone can open hood at Chevy Colorado (broken cable) they said no problem . Send one guy after 10 minutes he said can’t do it . They tried to charge me$ 90 for diagnostics I try to talk to them and owner said ,whit highly voice get out of my shop and do not come back

I’ve been using R&D for over 20 years (as a matter of fact, one of my cars that R&D services, is a 2004 Camry, that I bought new for my son; was given by him to HIS son, & still runs like new! One ideally needs a car mechanic (or other service professionals like a plumber, electrician, contractor, etc.) that has three attributes (in the following order); 1) competence; 2) Honesty; 3) Inexpensive. One very rarely gets all three, and I usually settle for 2 out of 3, and dearly pay for a tradesman that’s comepetent & honest. R&D has ALL 3 attributes! How he makes a living by being honest AND inexpensive, amazes me! But he obviously does!

Use to come here often until I started to deal with the younger guy. They act like they are to good to work on some cars. Went in for a few different issues and could only do an oil change After today I will not go back. They did a diagnostic test and basically told me to go.somewhere else. I asked what the issues were and he said there's a whole bunch. Would give me any details on what needed to be done. Went down the block to another mechanic and got results and found d out the mechanic in R&D didn't k ow what he was talking about. Or maybe he just didn't wanna do the job. Either way they lost lots of money

Honest, honest, honest. I had the best experiences working with these guys. On 2 occasions, both mechanics, Avi and Drew, expertly diagnosed what was wrong with my car and saved me money by advising against unnecessary repairs. They didn't charge to diagnose. I fully trust them and admire their expertise and integrity.

Its more like simple work they do here like brakes and oil changes. It should be more like a jiffy lube. I had my brakes done here and it wasn’t the best job. I ended up going to another place to fix their mistake.

Just got a system, they helped navigate and gave me a very negotiable offer. The guy helped me out and gave me a deal on a whole system, I came in with some products, and he ran tests, which furthered my choice in buying something more upgraded/updated than my last amplifier. I would recommend, even if just to get an idea.

My check engine light is on so went there to get my car check. They told me they don’t have time for me and the just walk way. Very bad attitude. Never go there again

Raif and Avi were extremely professional, and honest. Best mechanic in NY hands down. After getting ripped off in many places as I have a few business vehicles, I decided to give them a chance, and I cannot recommend a business more than this one. Thank you guys 🤝
